Abstract

Blitar city experienced a fairly rapid development in the field of trade. One of them is handicraft industry from wood, especially kendang jimbe. The area that is quite famous as a producer of jimbe kendang is Tanggung Village, Kepanjenkidul Subdistrict, Blitar City. In this area most of the people work as kendang craftsmen, is also a center of handicraft lathe in Blitar City. Basically, Blitar people earn from this activity, in this case people can not make good use of the rest of the activity, especially the utilization of ash of burning of mahogany powder. Of the abundant ash of the combustion of mahogany wood is expected to be used as an additional mixture of lightweight concrete. The method used in this study using laboratory experiments and guided on SNI 03-0691-2000. Mixture of mahogany ash dust, and know the compressive strength of lightweight brick with dust ash material as added sand material 0%, 25%, 50%. From this comparison can be generated as follows: The use of ash of dried mahogany ash adds fine aggregate material (sand) in concrete brick mixture at 7 days old for 0% mixture is 3.28 MPa. Strong press for substitution 25% wood ash larger 26,37% that is 4,14 MPa and object of test with substitution 50% decrease 12,46% that is 2,87 MPa. Kota Blitar mengalami perkembangan yang cukup pesat di bidang perdagangan. Salah satunya adalah industri kerajinan dari kayu, terutama kendang jimbe. Daerah yang cukup terkenal sebagai penghasil jimbe kendang adalah Desa Tanggung, Kecamatan Kepanjenkidul, Kota Blitar. Di daerah ini sebagian besar orang bekerja sebagai pengrajin kendang, juga merupakan pusat kerajinan bubut di Kota Blitar. Pada dasarnya, orang Blitar mendapatkan dari kegiatan ini, dalam hal ini orang tidak dapat memanfaatkan sisa kegiatan, terutama pemanfaatan abu pembakaran serbuk mahoni. Dari abu yang melimpah dari pembakaran kayu mahoni diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai campuran tambahan beton ringan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen laboratorium dan dipandu pada SNI 03-0691-2000. Campuran debu abu mahoni, dan mengetahui kekuatan tekan bata ringan dengan material abu debu sebagai bahan pasir tambahan 0%, 25%, 50%. Dari perbandingan ini dapat dihasilkan sebagai berikut: Penggunaan abu abu mahoni kering menambah bahan agregat halus (pasir) dalam campuran bata beton pada umur 7 hari untuk campuran 0% adalah 3,28 MPa. Pers yang kuat untuk substitusi 25% abu kayu lebih besar 26,37% yaitu 4,14 MPa dan objek uji dengan substitusi 50% turun 12,46% yaitu 2,87 MPa.

Abstract

Blitar Regency is one of the strange culinary centers, among which are processed various foods from snail base ingredients, ranging from kripik, sate oseng-oseng and so on as well as the existence of Blitar district is one of the rice barns in East Java. With the existence of Blitar district as a snail-based culinary producer and one of the rice barns in East Java, this is not spared from several problems, such as the disposal of snail shells in the river and burning of rice straw in rice fields which both will cause environmental damage. This study aims to examine the use of snail shell ash and rice straw ash as a substitute material for cement in mortar mixtures against mortar compressive strength. The research method used was the experimental method by mixing fine aggregate main ingredients with snail shell ash and rice straw ash then testing the compressive strength. The results of the compressive test with the addition of the percentage of snail shell shell turned out to increase by 54.78%.

Abstract

Light brick is an alternative to making walls in addition to the red brick series used by ordinary people. The purpose of this study is to compare the calculation of budget costs and the need to use red brick walls with light brick walls. The implementation method is to calculate the unit price analysis of the installation of red brick and light brick, the AHS is multiplied by the volume and the RAB is obtained, then the calculated RAB is compared between the two. Conclusion the price of installing a red brick wall pair is Rp. 44,128,086.00. The price of installing a lightweight brick wall pair is Rp. 85,295,824.71. The difference between the two jobs is Rp. 41,167,738.71. The percentage difference between the two jobs is 48.3%.

Abstract

Low carbon steel is an alloy consisting of the main elements of carbon with a low composition and iron. The mechanical properties of low carbon steel are influenced by the composition and microstructure of metals. One of the mechanical properties of the metal to be searched for is violence. The purpose of this study is to conduct hardening testing of low carbon steel material. The results obtained from this study are that the hardness of low carbon steel increases with increasing heating temperature. In addition, based on experimental data it is known that salt water cooling media has a higher hardness compared to SAE 10 oil.

Abstract

Development in the field of construction is very rapid, including in the construction of housing, hospital offices and so on. Concrete as a building material has long been used and widely applied by the community because it has advantages - advantages over other structural materials which have good strength, fire resistance, resistance to weather changes, and are relatively easy in construction. This research was conducted to determine the effect of substitution with Texafone additives on concrete compressive strength. The method used in this study is to make lightweight concrete substitute for texafon additives by 0%, 10% and 30% of the weight of lightweight Concrete sand which has been cured during 7 days later it was tested to get the compressive strength of lightweight concrete. The results showed the value of 0% substitution strength at 7 days is 6.2 Mpa, while an additional 10% is 5.21 Mpa and an additional 30% is 4.51 Mpa.

Abstract

This study will discuss the effect of the Wlingi hydropower synchronous generator excitation current on each change of load to keep the nominal outtime voltage of the generator with the changing voltage of 150 kV. Data analysis was obtained from the Wlingi Hydroelectric Daily Operation Report (LHO) in accordance with the changes in generator load or changes in transmission voltage values ​​to determine the effect on changes in AVR excitation currents. The next daily data obtained is compared with the initial setting or characteristics of the AVR when the Commissioning Test, the resulting deviation will be used as input for Engineering UP Brantas in carrying out the next corrective action. Thus the reliability of the Wlingi PLTA in serving P2B to maintain the stability of the Java-Bali 150 kV transmission system is maintained. So that it can contribute to improving company performance.

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan produk pertanian dan keterbatasan lahan mengharuskan adanya cara yang lebih intensif untuk bertani. Salah satu solusi dari masalah tersebut adalah menggunakan growbox. Growbox tidak harus berbentuk kotak, tapi bisa berbentuk tabung. Tabung Growbox telah dibuat dengan ukuran tinggi 35 cm, diameter bawah 27 cm dan diameter atas 36,5 cm. Growbox dilengkapi sel surya yang memungkinkannya menangkap sinar matahari di waktu siang hari dan menggunakannya untuk menghidupi lampu di malam hari. Syarat untuk terlaksananya hal ini adalah energi atau daya yang peroleh lebih tinggi daripada yang dikeluarkan. Setelah growbox dibuat, dilakukan pengujian di bagian input dan output menggunakan voltmeter dan amperemeter. Bagian input berupa sel surya dan bagian outputnya led. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sel surya dapat menghsilkan daya maksimal 142,36 mW dan led mengkonsumsi daya hingga 80,77 mW. Dari daya masukan dan keluaran dapat diperkirakan growbox mampu bekerja terus-menerus tanpa menghabiskan energinya.

Abstract

Air merupakan salah satu sumber daya alam yang sangat dibutuhkan oleh manusia. Tingkat kekeruhan air selalu berubah-ubah sesuai musim. Alat pendeteksi kekeruhan airdi tandon rumah berbasis arduino uno dibuat dengan menggunakan sensor LDR sebagai pembaca kekeruhan air dengan memanfaatkan karakteristik sensor LDR sebagai sensor intensitas cahaya dalam membaca perubahan intensitas cahaya dan lampu LED sebagai indikatornya. Berdasarkan hasil percobaan pada setiap sampel dapat menunjukan tingkat kekeruhan yang berbeda dan dapat membedakan tingkat kekeruhan air dengan 3 tingkatan kekeruhan. Jika nilai ADC kurang dari 153 indikator LED berwarna hijau akan menyala, air dinyatakan tidak keruh. Jika nilai ADC lebih dari 154 dan dibawah nilai 158 indikator LED berwarna kuning akan menyala, air dinyatakan sedikit keruh. Jika nilai ADC lebih dari 159 indikator LED berwarna merah akan menyala maka air dinyatakan keruh.

Abstract

ABSTRACThe construction industry in Indonesia is developing quite well, making small-scale construction servicebusinesses get a lot of new project opportunities. On the other hand, a new project can make construction servicebusinesses have problems due to their failure to manage existing resources. One of the risks is the delay in projectcompletion time, which results in the threat of penalty by the construction project owner. This study aims to reducethe risk of penalties faced by small-scale construction service businesses using Time cost trade-off (TCTO). TCTOis a method used to increase the productivity of human resources by substitute using several costs. In increasingthe productivity of human resources, this study uses two work systems, namely a four-hour overtime system anda Shift work system. The results of this study found that by using shift work system, it can accelerate the projectcomplementation time by 70 days and reduce the risk of penalties by Rp. 2,525,634,233.ABSTRAKIndustri konstruksi di Indonesia yang berkembang cukup baik, membuat pelaku usaha jasa konstruksi skala kecilmendapatkan banyak peluang proyek baru. Disisi lain proyek baru dapat membuat pelaku usaha jasa konstruksimengalami masalah dikarenakan kegagalan mereka dalam mengelola sumber daya yang ada. Salah satu risikoyang terjadi akibat kegagalan mengelola sumber daya adalah keterlambatan waktu penyelesaian proyek yangberakibat pada ancaman penalti oleh pihak pemilik pengguna jasa konstruksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengurangi risiko penalti yang dihadapi pelaku usaha jasa konstruksi skala kecil dengan cara Timecosttardeoff(TCTO). TCTO adalah sebuah metode yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas produktivitas sumber dayamanusia dengan menggantinya menggunakan sejumlah biaya. Dalam menaikkan produktivitas sumber dayamanusia, penelitian ini menggunakan dua sistem kerja yaitu sistem kerja lembur selama empat jam dan sistemkerja Shift. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa dengan menaikkan produktivitas kerja dengan sistem shiftdapat mempercepat waktu pelaksanaan sampai dengan 70 hari dan mengurangi risiko denda sebesar Rp.2.525.634.233
