The upcoming Railway of Makassar-Parepare needs to determine the appropriate tariff. The tariff should be affordable and attractive people to using the public transport. In addition to considering the train fare that has been determined by considering the operational costs of the operator, it is also necessary to consider the Ability to Pay (ATP) and Willingness to Pay (WTP) values for prospective train users, especially non-commuters. The purpose of this study was to analyze the value of ATP and WTP for prospective users of the Makassar - Parepare train service, especially for non-commuting trips. The data collection method in this study was conducted through a primary data survey using questionnaires or direct interviews with respondents who have the potential to use the Makassar - Parepare Railway. The respondent sampling process is based on each sub-district along the Makassar-Parepare railway line. The research data obtained were then analyzed further to see the characteristics of the respondents, ATP values, and WTP values. The results of the analysis on fares for trains with ATP and WTP values at a maximum value of Rp. 468,-/ km with 58% of respondents. The fare value for the total length of the Makassar-Parepare route is 141 km, which is Rp. 65,988,-. The results of this study also show that the ATP value is lower than the fare for public transportation using a mini bus with the same distance on the Makassar-Parepare route with a value of Rp. 120.000,- so that the potential tariff in its determination must still consider the service received.

State employees of Tanjungpinang consists of 4,303 people whose origins and destinations are spread throughout the city. This is the reason for the high travel demand where private vehicles are still superior to the other modes of choice. This adds to problems in environmental aspects, especially the contributors to air pollution and noise on the road. This study uses a quantitative method with descriptive analysis and spatial analysis. Descriptive analysis is used to identify existing employee travel characteristics. The graphic display presented in the results of the descriptive analysis aims to make it easier to explain the results of the analysis of the formation of zones, the number of trips in each zone, as well as the focus services and existing facilities. Spatial analysis is used to point to the edge of the location of existing facilities, and the ease of origin and destination of employee travel. The results of the study indicate that the current supply of services and facilities has not been able to accommodate the travel demand of state employees. The supply of transport services and facilities is still lacking because they only serve and available in several sub-districts which are the points of origin and destinations travel for employees. This caused low interest of employees by using green transport whose origin and destination areas are not covered and crossed by services. Therefore, it is necessary to request institutional-based travel demand management to encourage employees to travel using green transport in the form of policies, coordination, and cooperation within the internal scope of the Tanjungpinang city government.

Currently construction projects in Batam City in the field of foundations are increasing rapidly. This is a factor of success and economic growth in Batam City. The city of Batam has shown several towering construction buildings. Tall buildings are very easy to find in Batam City today. The increasing construction of high-rise buildings in Batam City must also be in line with the increase in the success of the project so that construction projects must be completed according to the specified schedule, the right budget, such as making a budget plan, and the expected final results. This study aims to identify the factors that cause delays in the Opus Bay Balmoral project in Batam City. Collecting data in this study used a survey method with a questionnaire instrument and direct interviews with respondents. Data were analyzed using the Relative Score Index method to obtain information on the dominant factors causing delays in the Opus Bay Balmoral development project in Batam City. The research results obtained, there are three factors which indicate that the factors causing the delay in the Opus Bay Balmoral project are: weather factors, design factors, and location factors. These three factors have relative index scores of 0.791, 0.508, and 0.505. Because these three factors have a Relative Index value of > 0.5, with a value for the design factor itself of 0.508, for the weather factor of 0.719 and a location factor of 0.505.

The foundation is a very important structural element in a building. The bearing capacity of the soil is a foundation support, where a foundation is defined as an underground building that transmits the load originating from the weight of the building itself and the loads acting on the building to the surrounding soil. This study aims to determine the bearing capacity of the bored pile foundation in the Monde City Batam Apartment development project. The research method for implementing bored pile work was carried out by the Monde City Batam Apartment development project which is located at the address of Sadai Village, Bengkong District, Batam City, Riau Islands. Based on the results of a comparison of digging the ground for bored pile installation in the monde city Apartment, it can be concluded that the heavy equipment used is the Auger and Bucket with the results of the data that have been obtained that drilling using an Auger drill which takes 3 hour and 01 minutes is the fastest option for digging the soil layer to be used for installation of bored piles.

The waste problem in Indonesia is an unfinished problem. The growing population increases the amount of waste originating from human activities, both organic and inorganic waste. Inorganic waste such as plastic waste is difficult to decompose naturally, so research is needed on the use of plastic waste to make environmentally friendly paving blocks. The aim of this research is to know the compressive strength and the percentage of water absorption value. Using experimental data collection techniques or methods (testing/observation). By testing intact paving blocks and cubes, the results showed that PET plastic types did not meet the testing standards for DHPE and PP plastic types, which had varying compressive strength and water absorption, so that research could be continued. The highest compressive strength of the PP plastic type was 16.98 Mpa for the intact model and 23.30 Mpa for the cube model, the lowest water absorption capacity was obtained for the PP plastic type of 0.38%.

Evaluation or study of existing building structures must consider the strength and stiffness of structural components due to gravity loads and earthquake loads. The strengthening to the existing Hbeam column structure is to add steel plates to the existing Hbeam column. This method is a way to improve structural performance due to earthquake loads in terms of ease of implementation, time and cost when compared to replacing or adding new structural components. The purpose of this study was to analyze the strengthening of Hbeam column steel plate due to seismic loads. Parameters analyzed were vibration period, lateral displacement and internal forces due to earthquake loads. This research is a quantitative analytical research, where the geometry data of the 3D frame portal structure is determined independently, while the material and loading data are based on (SNI 1727:2013) and (SNI 1729:2019). The 3D frame portal is modeled and analyzed using finite element based software, ETABS software. The results of the analysis show that the strengthening of the Hbeam column by adding a steel plate to the existing Hbeam column which is installed horizontally in the middle of the cross section with dimensions of 15 mm thick and 145 mm long (18.59% of the cross-sectional area of the Hbeam column) increases the stiffness of the structure by 12.01% and 14.2% respectively - for vibration period and lateral drift, respectively. The lateral displacement is smaller than the allowable lateral displacement with a drift ratio of less than 130%, so the structure does not experience a soft story. The average maximum internal forces (moment, shear and axial force) due to the earthquake load of the column structure with reinforcement increased by 12.50%, 9.68% and 14.01% respectively compared to the structure without strengthening along with the addition of dimensions to the existing Hbeam column.

Technological developments in the field of engineering have increased rapidly. The use of geospatial information becomes one of the bases for decision-making related to planning, managing, and evaluating a field, especially in engineering, which includes the field of measurement and making topographic maps or Digital Elevation Model (DEM). High-resolution geospatial information can create a high-resolution Digital Elevation Model (DEM) map that can be very useful in making models or maps of flood-affected areas. This research will use the photogrammetry technology with DJI Phantom 4 RTK to create the DEM data of Batang Mahat located in Lima Puluh Kota Regency, West Sumatra Province. 28 flights at predetermined points had carried out to measure the area of about 9 km2. All the results of photos captured by the drone will be imported to Agisoft Metashape 1.8.2 software to create the DEM data. The DEM was then compared with DEM data from DEMNAS and the measurement data of Batang Mahat by the SDABK office. The result shows that photogrammetry technology using DJI Phantom 4 RTK compared to measurement data and DEMNAS have a similar ground elevation but different river elevation. This is because the photogrammetry by using DJI Phantom 4 RTK is not equipped with LiDAR. An alternative to solve the problem is by combining the DEM data by DJI Phantom 4 RTK with data from terrestrial surveys. However, this method is quite expensive and ineffective in analyzing flood inundation compared to DEM data (8 m resolution) from DEMNAS.

The rehabilitation and renovation work for school facilities and infrastructures is one of the work programs of the PUPR ministry. SDN 09 Ranah Pantai Cermin is one of the schools in West Sumatera that has the opportunity to take part in this program. This elementary school is located in the Sangir Batang Hari sub- district South Solok Regency. The plan for building classrooms on the edge of a cliff is the main reason for buiding a retaining wall before classroom construction work begins. Turap were built as retaining walls to prevent landslides around the classrooms during pre-construction, constructions and post-construction. Gravity type with river stones as the base material was chosen as a retaining wall at SDN 09 Ranah Pantai Cermin. Gravity turap was chosen as a retaining wall at this school with consideration that there is quite a lot of material around the site and also that work that does not require special skills. Source of data used for soil stability analysis are obtained from the field, previous research and from shop drawings. After analysing data, it was found that the Turap to be built is safe and meets the planning requirements for retaining wall stability with safety factor as follows: overturning 2.3 times, share 11.84 time and with bearing capacity of 16 time calculated by the Terzhagi method. Analysis and checking of the stability of the Turap as retaining wall at SDN 09 Ranah Pantai Cermin is only carried out for static loads on the retaining wall.

The Padang City is one of the cities that still provides angkot as one of the public transportation mode services. Most of users of this mode are students and students. City transportation routes in the city of Padang are spread to various parts of the city of Padang with the central center of movement from the Pasar Raya Padang. However, since the presence of Tans Padang in January 2014, city transportation modes have started to have new competitors. Since July 2022 Corridor V has been serving a new route, namely Corridor of Indarung - Pasar Raya Padang. This study aims to describe the characteristics of travelers in choosing the mode and explore the factors that influence travelers in choosing the mode of transportation. Data collection methods are carried out by surveys and interviews. The variables reviewed include aspects of travel convenience, travel safety, travel time and travel costs. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regression methods. Based on characteristic analysis data, it is known that 54.5% of mode users have income at an average level (Rp. 1,000,000 – 3,000,000). For users of this mode, the travel time variable (47.25%), the travel cost variable (43.25%), the travel convenience variable (36%), and the travel safety variable (8.25%) are still the factors that are the main considerations in choosing the mode. Parkir merupakan bagian dari fasilitas yang menyatu dari sistem jalan secara keseluruhan. Parkir merupakan permasalah umum pada transportasi perkotaan, baik di kota berkembang maupun di kota besar. Masalah parkir juga merupakan sesuatu yang tidak dapat diatasi oleh beberapa fasilitas umum seperti rumah sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik parkir dan manajemen perparkiran. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara survei pencacahan langsung dilokasi Rumah Sakit Tentara Kota Solok. Dari hasil analisa yang dilakukan di area parkir Rumah Sakit Tentara Kota Solok (On Street Parking), didapatkan akumulasi parkir untuk kendaraan roda dua selama 4 hari dalam interval waktu 15 menit didapatkan jumlah kendaraan yang tertinggi pada hari Rabu sebanyak 110 kendaraan dengan 80 SRP, sedangkan untuk kendaraan roda empat sebanyak 26 kendaraan dengan 18 SRP oleh karena itu permintaan kebutuhan ruang parkir tidak dapat dipenuhi karena kapasitas ruang parkir yang tersedia tidak mampu untuk menampung kendaraan pengunjung rumah sakit, sehingga perlu penambahan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan parkir pada jam puncak atau pada waktu akumulasi parkir maksimum yang sesuai dengan Pedoman Teknis Penyelenggara Fasilitas Parkir dengan jumlah tempat tidur 80 maka jumlah SRP yang dibutuhkan sebanyak 104 SRP. Dari 100 responden yang mengisi kuesioner, rata-rata dari 8 pertanyaan mengenai kenyaman, keamanan dan operasional responden memilih cukup. Dengan adanya masalah parkir dibahu jalan sebaiknya pengatur parkir perlu dikembangkan terutama pada waktu sibuk kendaraan memasuki area agar tidak mengganggu siklus kendaraan lainnya, perlu diberi batasan-batasan parkir seperti petak-petak parkir sehingga tidak ada kendaraan yang parkir sembarangan dan memberikan rekomendasi kepada pihak Rumah Sakit Tentara Kota Solok untuk menyediakan lahan parkir yang memadai sesuai dengan Direktur Jenderal Perhubungan Darat 1996 yaitu sebanyak 104 SRP.
