The Journal of Nonformal Education and Community Empowerment is published twice a year in June and December. This journal is published by the Department of nonformal Education Faculty of Education Semarang State University since 2012, in 2017 changed with the new ISSN and in collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Non-Formal Education Academics. Abstract

The purpose of study to anaysize of pedagogoic competence of tutor, learning activity and independence of street vulnerable children, the influence of pedagogic competence of tutor toward independence of street vulnerable children, the influence of learning activity toward independence of street vulnerable children, the influence of pedagogic competence and learning activity toward children independence vulnerable to the streets. research using quantitative expost-facto method with 33 as sample using propability proportionate random sampling technique. The data collection tool used is a questionnaire. The results obtained that there is the influence of pedagogic competence on independence of street vulnerable children, F test result Fcount = 15,509 > Ftable = 3,30. and T test shows Thitung = 3,938 > Ttable=2,042. there is the influence of learning activities on the independence of street vulnerable children, F test result Fcount = 33.440 > Ftable = 3.30, and T test is thitung = 5,783 > Ttable=2,042. there is the influence of pedagogic competence and learning activities on the independence of street vulnerable children, Test F Fcount = 17,099 > Ftable = 3,30, (T test) tcount = 3,669 > Ttable=2,042.

Abstract

The purpose of this study describes the process and constraints and more value in the implementation of character education. This research method using a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, data collection technique is done by interview, observation, and documentation. The data validity technique uses source triangulation and method triangulation. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the research show that there are three stages of the implementation process, which are adjusted to the needs, the implementation of the integrated implementation of subjects and extracurricular self-development activities and the evaluation is done when the learning takes place and the end of learning. The inhibiting factors include the absence of written planning in extracurricular, changing psychological conditions and non-reuse of citizens' behavior forms. Supporting factors include parental support and outside cooperation, its value is the change of behavior to be better.

Abstract

This study aims to describe life skills learning in building entrepreneurial attitude of learning citizens of C package in SKB Purwokerto. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. Research subjects were 2 studying residents and 2 tutors as well as 1 informant that is package manager C. data collection technique through observation, interview, and documentation. The validity of the data using source and method triangulation. Data analysis techniques through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Life Skills study results are conducted in accordance with the Life Skills learning component and generate entrepreneurial attitudes in the form of self-confidence, task-oriented and result oriented, risk-taking, leadership, originality, and future-oriented. Constraints faced in the form of internal factors namely learning motivation and external factors that is the environment. Supporting factors in this learning is the availability of facilities and complete infrastructure and competence of tutors in accordance with the type of skills taught.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the interventions carried out by social workers towards persons with disabilities in PSRSPDM Margo Laras Pati and its supporting and inhibiting factors. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity techniques using source triangulation and technical triangulation. Data analysis techniques through data collection, reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. It is generally concluded that the intervention of social workers towards persons with mental disabilities consists of five stages, namely: the initial approach stage, assessment, planning, implementation of interventions and evaluation. Supporting factors consist of motivation, environmental support, facilities, and infrastructure. While the inhibiting factor consists of the influence of the drug consumed, the lack of readiness of the beneficiaries and the existence of discriminatory actions.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the services provided by the Tresna Werdha Kasih Sayang Ibu Social Institution Batusangkar Tanah Datar District West Sumatra Province, to the elderly who are supported. The method used is qualitative with primary and secondary data sources. His research subject was the Head of the Home, two nursing staff and three elderly people who were still able to communicate normally. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The services provided by the institution to the elderly are good, both from health services, mental and spiritual services, physical services, social and legal services, as well as services for assistive devices. It's just that the problems that arise are in the non-technical factor, that is the excess of health workers, the absence of permanent doctors who are ready if there is a night incident, as well as the lack of cleaning staff.

Abstract

This study, the purpose of which the researchers want to point out is to find out the application of the projec based learning learning model in independent learning on package C equality education at PKBM Abdi Pertiwi Kec. Serant City Walantaka. The method used in this study is by using a descriptive qualitative approach. The technique of collecting data is by interview, observation and documentation. The results of the study show that the formulation of an effective learning model using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) strategy consists of the planning and implementation stages. The planning phase is the stage carried out by educators in designing independent learning with the PjBL strategy which consists of: 1) mapping of SK-KD; 2) determine the learning theme; 3) determine KD related to the theme; 4) develop indicators; 5) develop syllabus; and 6) developing RPP. The implementation stage is the stage of implementing the Project Based Learning steps in independent learning by students. This stage consists of steps: 1) asking; 2) plan the project; 3) make a schedule; 4) carry out the project; 5) monitoring; 6) assess; and 7) evaluate.

Abstract

In the process, learning to instruct instructors as teachers is the creator of learning conditions in which the instructor is responsible for the education of the learners. Therefore, the instructor should have a good level of competence in carrying out his duties as a teacher either pedagogical competence, personality competence, professional competence and social competence. With this competence, it is expected that the instructor can motivate the students to learn better, so that the expected learning result is a satisfactory achievement. The purpose of this research is to know the correlation of pedagogic competence, personality competence, professional competence and social competence of instructor in improving the learning result of freshwater fish processing trainees at LKP Sanggar Budaya An-Nahdlah in Pandeglang. The research approach used in this research is quantitative research with research method used in this research is using non experiment method. This research is a correlation research, because it aims to test the influence or correlation between several research variables and to identify predictive relationships using correlation techniques or more sophisticated statistical techniques. The results obtained that, (1) the level of competence of instructors in LKP Sanggar Budaya An-Nahdlah Pandeglang according to the distribution of data obtained in the level enough with a large percentage of pedagogic competence of 87.2%, personal competence of 76.6%, professional competence of 79.3%, and social competence 80.0%. (2) there is a relationship between instructor's competence (pedagogic, personality, professional, and social) in improving learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the knowledge of group dynamics in Majelis Taklim Jami'atul Muslimah at Mataram Village, Tugumulyo Subdistrict, Musi Rawas Regency. This type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include primary data and secondary data. The population of this study amounted to 33 people and a sample of 33 people became total sampling. Data were analyzed descriptively using percentages. The results showed that knowledge of group dynamics in Majelis Taklim Jami'atul Muslimah was in the high category with a percentage of 78.8%. Conclusions from this study are that knowledge of group dynamics is in a high category because of clear group goals, group task functions have been carried out well, solidarity between members and good group leaders and a well-formed group atmosphere.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a product in the form of Vocational Learning Module Development in the Package C Program at the Community Learning Activity Center Melati Ogan Ilir. This development research was carried out by referring to the steps to develop the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The research trial subjects consisted of experts, and the target of product users, namely tutors, were taken using purposive sampling method, so the research subjects were obtained, namely 2 experts, and 2 tutors package C program. This research was conducted by testing research products until the small group test stage and the data obtained were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that: The package C vocational learning module was judged to be very feasible to be used by residents of learning and teachers or package C tutors in the implementation of vocational learning especially traditional dance arts. The level of use of package C vocational learning modules high for use by study residents.

Abstract

This research uses descriptive qualitative type, aimed at describing to empower the community of Lombok Kulon Village through the Development of Organic Tourism Village. Data collection using interviews, observation, and documentation. The validity of the data uses the triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. The results of this study were: the development of an organic tourism village program that focused on managing physical and non-physical potential had been able to make the community empowered. Community empowerment could be seen from the two indicators that had been achieved, namely participation and control. In developing this organic village tourism program, the community had participated in and controlled every activity held. The form of community participation was the involvement of the community in supporting the organic tourism village program in which it was more aware and transformed to be a better community. Finally, the control was done through the Focus Group Discussion that allowed the community to did direct sharing with the management of organic tourism village.
