Abstract

The ignition key security system and motorcycle tracking are very important features that a motorcycle must have to secure the motorcycle from theft. The problem that occurs is that the key security system on motorbikes currently uses keyless and can only control one motorcycle and is not equipped with a tracking system, making it difficult for users to track the location of the motorcycle during theft. Therefore, this research will develop an ignition lock security system using keyless through an intelligent system application on android and equipped with a password to turn on or off more than one motorcycle to make it more efficient and cost-effective. While the tracking system is an additional feature developed in this research to track the whereabouts of motorbikes via android based on the location point and coordinates. The research method used in the ignition lock security system is to connect a 2-channel relay to the motorcycle electricity through NodeMCU which will control it through the application. Meanwhile, the tracking system uses the Neo-6M GPS Module to track the coordinates of the motorcycle location via GPS satellites. The results of the tracking are then sent to firebase to be processed into a motorcycle location point on the smartphone application. The test results show that the application can turn off and turn on more than one motorcycle using different passwords through the application on a smartphone and can display the location point of the motorcycle with a very small coordinate difference between the application and google maps so that it is considered to have a percentage error of 0%.

Abstract

Cutting forces analysis of turning process are one of the mandatory lecture contents given in mechanical and manufacturing department. It is because they are related to the quality of the product produced. Therefore, being able to observe and interpret cutting forces can provide an overview of machining quality of the machine. This experimental research explored the effect of spindle rotational speed on cutting process using a full octagonal shaped rings dynamometer made in the laboratory. The results showed that increasing the spindle rotation speed affected the cutting time, whether the greater the spindle rotational speed used, the faster the turning process were completed, each of which is 312.5; 156.25; and 112 seconds. However, variational of spindle rotational speed did not affect the cutting forces of turning process even though the cutting force graph showed fluctuations. Those are due to the dynamics of the machining process. Spindle rotational speed also influenced the frequency content of the process. Various characteristic frequencies of the turning process could be observed, including the spindle rotation frequency (fs) and harmonic frequencies.

Abstract

Control is the measurement and improvement of an implementation so that the implementation is in accordance with the plans that have been made to achieve a goal. Bubbling is one of the failures in the 3d print printing process, this can happen because the filament is damp/contains a lot of moisture. Printing a 3D object requires precision because all aspects of preparation must be done properly so that the object being printed is successful. Well, in this study the authors used a case study type of research, the authors will conduct a description and analysis of the bubbling filament case. The analysis carried out is to analyze the factors that affect the PETG material filaments to become moist and analyze the appropriate PETG material storage methods so that the quality of the material remains optimal

Abstract

SMK Negeri 1 Bakam is a vocational education institution that has an important role in supporting education in Bakam District. Every year, SMK Negeri 1 Bakam carries out Industrial Work Practice (PRAKERIN) with a monitoring system that is currently still carried out manually, using notebooks and printed forms. In addition, the assessment to determine the best students has not been well structured. To overcome these problems, the school seeks to develop a computerized system for monitoring and assessing the best students of industrial work practices to improve efficiency and accuracy in the process of monitoring and assessing student performance. This best student monitoring and assessment system for industrial work practices was developed based on a website equipped with a mobile attendance feature that utilizes the Global Positioning System (GPS) to monitor student attendance in real-time. The development of the system was carried out with a prototype method and integrated the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method for student assessment based on criteria such as attendance, learning progress, final report, and professional attitude. The results of the User Acceptance Test (UAT) test show a user acceptance rate of 83.9 percent, which indicates that this system is functioning properly. This system is expected to increase efficiency in monitoring industrial work practices and provide an objective and transparent assessment of the best students.

Abstract

The ability to hear is a gift given by God to humans. By hearing, a person will be able to speak and communicate, but some of them are born with hearing loss or are known as deaf. Deafness is a condition where the sufferer loses their hearing so that deaf people experience difficulty in communicating with the person they are talking to because of limited hearing. The deaf communicate using sign language when communicating with the person they are talking to. The problem is that not all deaf interlocutors can use sign language to communicate. Hearing limitations cause deaf people to experience difficulties in interacting in society and the world of education because it is difficult for them to adapt to their surrounding environment. So in this research a tool was created that can make it easier for deaf people to communicate with normal people via an LCD display. By utilizing Google Voice as a user voice recording feature connected to the Android application. As a result of the tool that has been created, users can send voice messages via the Google Voice feature in the Android application, the voice messages that have been sent are then converted into text displays on the LCD, and the text that has been sent will be saved in the application history feature.

Abstract

Information technology-based learning has become a primary focus in improving the effectiveness of the educational process in various institutions. The background of this research is driven by the need of SMP Negeri 2 Parittiga to utilize information technology as an innovative and engaging learning tool for Grade IX students. This is due to the declining interest of students in learning science subjects at SMP Negeri 2 Parittiga. This research aims to develop an educational game application using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) as the development method. The GDLC method was chosen to ensure that the development of the educational game application is conducted in a structured and efficient manner. The design of user activities in the application uses activity diagrams, while the interface design utilizes Canva software. The development of this game application uses Unity 2D software. The result of this research is an educational game application that includes a sliding puzzle menu, materials, and practice questions for Grade IX students at SMP Negeri 2 Parittiga. The validation test using Aiken's method for content validation scored 0.9286, while media validation scored 0.8518. With these very high criteria, it can be concluded that the application is highly suitable for use by Grade IX students as a learning tool. It is hoped that this research can enhance the quality of learning at SMP Negeri 2 Parittiga.

Abstract

  This research aims to design a multifunctional device based on the Internet of Things (IoT) that utilizes Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) method to simultaneously measure body fat percentage, body temperature, and blood oxygen levels. The device is equipped with a bioimpedance sensor to measure body fat percentage, as well as integrated temperature and oxygen sensors to detect body temperature and blood oxygen levels. Testing the device yielded highly satisfactory results with a high level of accuracy, including weight at 99.32%, height at 99.83%, body fat percentage at 97.96%, non-fat mass at 97.45%, total body water at 99.86%, body temperature at 98.61%, and oxygen levels at 99.83%. Measurement results are displayed on an LCD screen and transmitted to the Telegram application through the IoT platform. By integrating BIA, IoT, and multi-functional sensors, it is anticipated that this device can provide accurate and integrated measurements, contributing to more effective health monitoring.

Abstract

This research leads to the designing of the main color detector Red, Green Blue (RGB) which is applied to the detection of fruit ripeness. The purpose of this research is to help fruit farmers who wants to ensure the maturity condition of the fruits to be harvested. This research uses a scientific approach with the scientific concept of the Closest Pair Point algorithm and the use of the TS3200 color sensor. Closest Pair Point Algorithm is an algorithm that solves the problem of finding the shortest distance between a set of points in a two-dimensional plane. The TCS3200 color sensor is a converter programmed to convert color into a frequency composed of a silicon photodiode configuration and a current-to-frequency converter in a single monolithic CMOS IC. The output of this sensor is a square wave (duty cycle 50%) frequency which is directly proportional to the light intensity (irradiance). The results of the censorship process in the form of RGB numeric values ??will be compared with the original RGB values ??of the maturity provisions of a type of fruit, so that it can provide a resume for determining whether the fruit is ripe or not. The accuracy values ??obtained range between 73,87% - 93,12%.

Abstract

PT. Promanufacture Indonesia is engaged in the field of biotechnology that produces laboratory equipment. One of the devices being developed is the Mantis-Tempest Chip (MTC) machine. In this tool, development, and modifications are made to the design of the chip. The chip developed is a laboratory instrument used for dispensing reagan with a microfluid system and can produce weight with precise volumes from various types of samples with a certain viscosity value. In the chip manufacturing process there is 1 process that is considered complicated, this process is a lasering process used to give a number to the chip. To carry out this process beforehand, it is necessary to carry out a surface smoothing process on the part to be lasered. So far, this process is still done manually by sanding the chips one by one. Therefore, the time required for the lasering process is long. The purpose of this research is to create a grinding machine that is specifically for the chip grinding process, with a position that can be adjusted the height of the grinding eye, this machine will later be used by the production division at PT. Promanufacture is in an effort to speed up the processing process and increase the speed and number of chips that can be lasered numbered. The results of this research were obtained a Grinding Mantis Chip (GMC) machine with dimensions of 170 x 110 x 50 mm, equipped with a grinda position that can be adjusted at a height of 45mm to 55mm, and can flatten the chip surface evenly, and consistently. In addition, the results of the GMC engine that has been made and tested can perform the process of scanning 6 chips simultaneously within 32 seconds so as to optimize the previously existing process.

Abstract

 A system for detecting the presence of mosquito larvae can be used as a solution to find out whether the air reservoir is healthy or not. This mosquito larva detection system uses several measuring parameters, including the distance between the object of the mosquito larva and the camera, air turbidity/light conditions, and the number of mosquito larvae in the air protector. From the results of tests carried out on the detection distance parameters, the results showed that the system could detect the presence of mosquito larvae within a distance of 5-15 cm in clear air/bright light conditions with a detection success rate above 80%. In the same test, but with cloudy air/dark light conditions, detection went well but a detection error occurred at a distance of 15 cm, namely the system detected objects other than mosquito larvae as mosquito larvae. This is due to several factors, including the lack of variation in the dataset, the detection system is carried out in real-time (in the form of video capture) and the camera specifications used do not meet the minimum value required by the computing system.
