Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning process with the Whatshap Application, Office 365 for Education, and Web Blog, as well as the difficulties experienced by teachers and students while learning. This research is an experimental method with a sample population of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Rongga amounting to 30 people. Data collection was carried out using obesity and test techniques. The instrument used was the microsoft form questionnaire sheet and the question sheet with multiple choice forms. Research validation was tested with external validity. Data analysis techniques were used to analyze learning success using SPSS. The results of this study are 1) Learning with Whatshap, Office 365 for Education, and Web Blog begins with the creation of Whatsapp Group student account registration in Office 356 For Education, Download and installation of Microsoft Team applications needed in the student apparatus, implementation of learning, and evaluation with microsoft form 2) Difficulties felt by students when online learning is the average student feels difficulty in using applications.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the development of teaching materials about the learning plan of writing procedural text with the discovery learning method in class XI SMA, the implementation of learning to write procedural texts with the discovery learning method in class XI SMA, and the assessment process of learning to write procedural texts using the discovery learning method in class XI. The subjects of this study were a class XI teacher and a class XI high school student. The things that are considered in this study are about the planning, implementation, and assessment process in learning to write procedural texts using the discovery learning method. The research data is in the form of observation and documentation. Data analysis using qualitative descriptive method. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the learning plan using the discovery learning method by the teacher has met the specified implementation standards. The success of a learning plan can be seen from the steps that are fulfilled according to the standard procedures for preparation of learning preparation using the discovery learning method. The implementation of learning can be categorized as successful in using the discovery learning method for learning to write procedural texts. The success of learning can be seen from the learning steps carried out by the teacher using the discovery learning method and student work results before and after using the discovery learning method in learning to write procedural text.

Abstract

Negotiation itself is actually closely related to the daily lives of students. Negotiations are usually carried out by everyone in their daily lives, because negotiating means trying to reach an agreement, in everything. This study implements the investigation group model in the study of negotiating texts. The research objectives are to 1) describe the results of research in the classroom using the investigation group learning model and 2) to describe student learning outcomes. The research method used is an experimental method with a type of non-equivalent control group. The results showed an increase in students with SPSS calculation results was 0.001, meaning that the resulting data was less than 0.05 significance. This means that the instructor writes negotiating texts using the group investigation model is considered successful.

Abstract

Writing is an important activity for students to hone memory and perfect in learning activities and as a measurement tool for students who are creative in learning to write, especially persuasion texts. The purpose of this study 1). The activity of writing persuasive texts of the students before and after using the Circuit Learning method. 2) Knowing the student's performance when completing assignments to measure the ability to write persuasion texts. The author uses a population of class VIII junior high school students with a sample of 27 students. The research design used was a quasi-experimental method and the data technique used a pre-test and a final test. Tests in the form of tests of knowledge and skills test to write persuasion texts before and after using the Circuit Learning method. Based on the analysis and discussion, there are results of 1) Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) has a value of 0.000 <0.05, so it can be accepted that it is accepted, meaning that there is a difference between the results of writing the persuasive text for the pretest and posttest so that it can state that "there is an effect of using the Circuit Learning method on learning outcomes in writing persuasive texts. 2) an increase in student performance improvement on the results written persuasion text, evidenced by the difficulty aspect in the pretest, namely the content suitability aspect of 17.14% (difficult), the language principle aspect of 21.43% (difficult), and the proportion at posttest, namely content suitability aspects 75.71% (easy) and aspects of language principles 34.54% (moderate).

Abstract

This research is motivated by the researcher's curiosity about the successful use of the snowball throwing method in understanding the meaning of complex explanatory text. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of success obtained in the use of the snowball throwing method in understanding the meaning of complex explanatory text. The formulation of the research problems are: 1) is there a difference between before using and after the snowball throwing method? 2) Is the snowball throwing learning method used successfully in learning to understand the meaning of the explanatory text? This study uses a quantitative research approach with data collection techniques, namely tests. Research Results The significance of the results is sig. 0.000 means <0. 05 Based on it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between learning to understand the meaning of complex explanatory text before and after the application of the snowball throwing method to students of class XI MIA 3. This research also shows that the snowball throwing learning method gets an average value. N-Gain in class XI MIA 3 is 57.3% or it can be interpreted as quite effective in learning to understand the meaning of complex explanatory text.

Abstract

The need for mutual interaction between people in the middle of life causes the need for students as a generation to be able to communicate all the contents of their ideas and thoughts, both orally and in writing in effective language. This study directs students to be able to express their ideas and ideas through writing products of critical response text that students have learned in class IX MTs./SMP. This study involved the dependent variable (critical response text) and the independent variable (contextual learning / CTL). The research is based on the researcher's knowledge of several studies which state that contextual learning is very fun and gives students freedom in thinking patterns to decide on a phenomenon, and can even improve writing skills. This study aims to describe the skill level of students of class IX MTs.N 5 West Bandung in writing critical response texts through contextual learning (CTL). This study used a pretest and posttest design with two types of instruments, namely the observation sheet and the test sheet. The method used is an experiment with a sample of 25 class IX students. Existing data processing includes grading / scoring, grouping, calculation, and others. The results showed that the teaching and learning process of the students' skills abilities of class IX MTs.5 West Bandung in writing critical response texts through contextual learning (CTL) went well and smoothly, succeeded in accordance with the basic competencies in the syllabus. Students are more enthusiastic and the learning atmosphere becomes more active, interactive, not monotonous, and students are more free to express their ideas and thinking according to their respective abilities. Student scores also seem to have increased significantly between before and after going through the contextual learning process (CTL). ). The processed data shows that the initial test score is 59.6 and the final test score is 80.6. Meanwhile, the ability to write critical response text through the lecture method shows the initial test results of 57.1 and the final test of 72.8. Teachers and students are more intimately engaged and the learning atmosphere is more comfortable and relaxed. This is evident from the overall percentage, that 93% of students follow learning well and 7% of students do not follow learning well.

Abstract

Gadget addiction is a problem that needs attention from the wider community. Of course this has a negative impact on adolescents, the most visible of which is the negative impact on health, psychological impact, social impact and academic impact. This research is expected to help in the prevention of gadget addiction. The purpose of this research is to study and describe various ways to prevent gadget addiction. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The population in this study were adolescents in the city of Cililin with a sample of four adolescents. The research was conducted for one week. The data collection techniques used were observation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that 1) gadgets make teenagers rarely communicate directly with friends and even their surroundings, communication is done through social media 2) gadgets make teenagers addicted to playing them, the reason these teenagers play gadgets is because there is a certain satisfaction when playing these gadgets

Abstract

This study aims to determine the physical structure and inner structure in the anthology of Netra Cintapoetries. Based on the research problems, this research aims to describe the morals contained in the Netra Cintapoetrycollections. The method applied in this study was qualitative research methods as descriptive analysis design. The writer used this method  because the writer tried to know and describe the physical structure, inner structure and description of morality in the anthology of Netra Cinta poetrywhich is the object of this research. The research instrument was the documentation technique. The using of this documentation technique is done by reading poetry data sources which aimsto identify data in accordance with the theory used. After obtaining this research data, further analysis of the research data is carried out with content analysis techniques. The process of data analysis could be done by mastering the physical and inner elements as well as the moral description contained in the poetry anthology of Netra Cinta. The results showed that the physical structure in the anthology of Netra Cinta poetry used diction and concrete words that are disappointed. Anthology of Netra Cinta poetry typifies in straight stanzas. The dominant inner structure is the expression of feelings in the soul. The feeling depicted is a feeling of disappointment, sadness, pride and anger towards the state of the animal who is not good at taking advantage of opportunities.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to prove whether there is an influence of learning interest on the ability to write procedural texts. The hypothesis tested is that there is an influence of interest in learning Bahasa Indonesia on the ability to write procedural texts. This study uses a quantitative description method because the research data is in the form of numbers, analyzed using statistics and describes the relationship between variables. The number of samples was 62 students of class XI SMK PP Negeri Sumedang. The instruments used in this research are test and non-test. The test instrument is in the form of a procedure text writing skill test result. Meanwhile, the non-test instrument was in the form of a questionnaire containing 20 indicators of interest including attention, enthusiasm, great desire, and interest in learning bahasa Indonesia. The results of the correlation analysis is 0.689, it indicates that there is a strong relationship between the interest in learning Bahasa Indonesia and the ability to write procedural texts. The regression value (r) square is 0.839, it indicates the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. Test the significance or significance of the regression coefficient obtained sig. 0.000 < 0.05 and tcount = 17.665. There is a significant effect of interest in learning bahasa Indonesia on the ability to write procedural texts.

Abstract

This study aims to explain about learning to read beginners using picture media classically and in groups and the process of increasing students' reading skills. Achieve this goal, classroom action research was conducted, with assistance of classroom teachers and 30 students of SDN TIPAR. Research data obtained by qualitative methods, observation and assisted by a recording aid in form of a camera. This research was conducted with two cycles of action. First cycle tends to increase participation and reading ability in word card and picture matching games. and the second cycle on reading improvement. Each cycle consists of stages: preparation, action, action, observation, analysis and reflection. The results of this study indicate that learning to read beginning with picture media classically students who lack courage tend to be passive so that when teacher assigns students to match word cards with pictures the students do not want to and the attention of some students is less focused in this learning and their reading ability is still dominated by active students. Learning the ability to read using picture media in groups, students are invited to play a game of matching word cards with pictures and their own friends and teacher acts as a facilitator and motivator. Student creativity, student shyness can be overcome and students' reading ability can be improved and the learning atmosphere is more attractive.
