Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of STEAM-based interactive modules in improving students' critical thinking skills. This research is motivated during the learning process in the classroom, students tend to be passive, their curiosity is very low and enthusiasm in the learning process is also very low. This research is a development research using the Borg and Gall model. Data collection techniques with interviews, questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique in this study used descriptive analysis techniques by analyzing validation data by expert validators and practitioners. The results showed that the results of the assessment of the three validators showed good results, the assessment of the validators was also converted into the feasibility of a module including validator 1 with a score of 90 in the "Very Good/Very Eligible" category, validator 2 with a score of 75 in the "Good/Decent" category and validaor 3 with a score of 84 with the category "Very Good/Very Decent". While the teacher's response showed 87.5% results and student responses showed 88% results. It can be concluded that from the assessment of the validators, the module is feasible to use for class IV elementary school learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the design, feasibility, and effectiveness of learning media in the form of interactive media based on local wisdom of Jepara Regency to cultivate poetry writing skills in Indonesian language learning in class V Elementary School in Jepara Regency. The research method using research and development was adopted from Borg and Gall with three simplified stages, namely introduction, development, and effectiveness testing. Data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires and documentation. The effectiveness of teaching media was obtained from the pretest and posttest scores in the control class and the experimental class. Data analysis used descriptive analysis. This analysis was carried out during the validity test, the data was collected from the questionnaire assessment. The results showed that the interactive media based on the local wisdom of Jepara "Mesi" was declared feasible and could be used. This can be seen from the expert validation which states very well, as well as positive responses from teachers and students. The interactive media based on Jepara's local wisdom "Mesi" that has been developed is declared effective in improving students' poetry writing skills. This is evidenced by the test results of students' poetry writing skills in the experimental group which were better than the control class.

Abstract

Siswa sangat baik dalam merespon pembelajaran yang sampaikan mulai dari apersepsi sampai dengan menyimpulkan materi yang disampaikan. Siswa juga mulai aktif bertanya saat pembelajaran berlangsung, rasa ingin tau mereka juga cukup tinggi dengan materi yang di sampaikan. Pada saat guru menerapkan metode Snowball Throwing siswa juga sangat antusias dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Pada saat mengerjakan soal evaluasi yang disiapkan guru siswa lebih teliti dalam mengerjakan. Dari hasil tersebut, diketahui bahwa terjadi peningkatan aktivitas siswa dan sudah mencapai standar ketuntasan minimal. Siswa mulai terbiasa menggunakan metode snowball throwingsehingga skor aktivitas siswa meningkat hingga 90 (sangat baik). Danmayoritas siswa sudah dapat menjawab yang sesuai denganpernyataan yang telah disajikan dan secara tidak langsung siswa terlibatdalam proses pembelajaran aktif. Siswa yang telah memahami materi denganbaik dapat dilihat dari siswa dapat menjawab soal yaitu dengan mengerjakanuji kompetensi. Kenaikan rata- rata kelas dari kegiatan 1 sebesar 40 % menjadi 85% pada kegiatan 2 serta tingkat ketuntasan dari kegiatan 1 siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan dari hasil tes akhir siklus sebesar 40% siswa yang tuntas yaitu sebanyak 8 siswa, dan kegiatan 2 hasil yang diraih siswa semakin meningkat menjadi 85% siswa yang tuntas yaitu 17 siswa.Keywords: Metode, Aktive Learning, snowball throwing, Matematika

Abstract

The purpose of this research are 1) describe the characteristics of social studies teaching materials for grade IV elementary schools in Gebog Kudus district, 2) describe the development of social studies teaching materials Guided Inquiry sociocultural based for grade IV elementary schools, 3) describe the legibility of social studies teaching materials Guided Inquiry sociocultural based in learning developed class IV elementary school, and 4) describes the effectiveness of social studies teaching materials based on Guided Inquiry sociocultural in learning activity for grade IV elementary schools developed.This type of research is R&D (Research and Development) research. The result of the product in this research is social studies teaching materials based on sociocultural science. The R&D research design consists of potentials and problems, data collection, product design, product validation, product revision, final product testing, product revision, and final production. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The qualitative data analysis technique uses a flow analysis model technique consisting of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing / verification. Quantitative data analysis using validity and effectiveness tests.The results of this study indicate that the teaching materials developed are valid and in accordance with sociocultural-guided inquiry learning which is associated with learning with the peculiarities of the student's area of residence. Gain 0.597 in the medium category, higher than the control class which got an average score of 0.236 gain in the low category, the results of the independent sample test obtained tcount = 3.784 > ttable = 1.9905 and sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, it can be found that there is a difference in the average student learning outcomes between the experimental class using inquiry-based social studies teaching materials and the control class without using sociocultural inquiry-based teaching materials.Keywords: parenting style, learning responsibility

Abstract

This study aims to examine the online learning of Indonesian subjects on short story listening material in grade IV elementary school during the COVID-19 pandemic using the Inquiry learning model. Examine teacher and student responses, and examine student difficulties in completing assignments. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were 20 fourth grade students of SD Negeri Pasirjambu, totaling 5 male students and 15 female students. The research instruments used were observation sheets, questionnaires or attitude scales, and written tests. The results of this study are that the first scenario and implementation of learning show findings in the field, namely students can learn to listen to short stories better by giving teachers a learning experience using audiovisual media online via whatsapp. Second, the response of teachers and students is very good, Third, the difficulties experienced by students in online learning in listening to short story material using the online inquiry learning model in general, namely the internet network that is less stable, difficult to understand the material and less free to interact with friends, quota limited and limited cellphones, because they have to take turns with other family members. as well as the obstacles experienced by researchers including the lack of stable signal and enough to drain data packets. Based on the results of research and discussion in this study, it can be concluded that online learning on short story listening material in class IV at SDN Pasirjambu is good

Abstract

Reward dalam pendidikan adalah hal yang tidak asing didengar. Dalam pembelajaran dan pembiasaan kedisiplinan, metode Reward  sering diterapkan untuk memberikan motivasi belajar kepada siswa agar siswa mampu mencapai cita-cita yang diinginkan salah satunya adalah dalam prestasi belajar siswa disekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian Reward  terhadap minat belajar siswa atau motivasi siswa  kelas bawah di SD Mardi Yuana Depok tahun ajaran 2021/2022 . Populasi dan sampel yang diteliti adalah siswa kelas satu SD Mardi Yuana Depok. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif,. Untuk menguji instrumen dan mengambil kesimpulan dari data yang diperoleh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pemberian Reward  layak digunakan untuk menjelaskan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dalam penggunaan Reward terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dikelas satu.Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Reward d berdampak positif dalam meningkatkan  motivasi atau minat belajar untuk mencapai prestasi yang ingin dicapai pada siswa ketika siswa diberikan reward siswa menjadi senang dan berusaha menunjukkan sikap positif yaitu kenginan untuk mau belajar dan mau mencoba hal-hal baru yang belum pernah dicoba  memiliki motivasi yang besar Adapun bentuk reward  yang diberikan yaitu kalimat pujian, penghargaan, hadiah, penghormatan dan tanda penghargaan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the needs of teaching materials, to design teaching materials, to analyze the effectiveness of the needs of teaching materials. The research method uses R&D. The resulting product is in the form of kelora-based hypermedia teaching materials with a quantum teaching model. The research and development steps refer to Borg and Gall. Data obtained from interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Data were analyzed by accumulating the number of scores. The effectiveness of learning material data was analyzed by normality test, homogeneity test, gain test, t test at a significance level of 0.05 using SPSS. The results of research and development are hypermedia teaching materials based on Jepara local wisdom with a quantum teaching model. This product proved to be feasible because the total scores obtained by the validators of teaching materials, materials and practices were 90.63; 90.27, and 90.25 “very feasible” criteria. The results of the responses from students were 88.89% and the responses of teachers in three elementary schools with an average of 88.24% with the product category "very feasible". The use of this product is effective in improving student learning outcomes. The average percentage of the pretest in the control and experimental classes was almost the same, namely 67.29 and 64.71. After being given treatment, the average posttest of the control and experimental classes increased to 75.53 and 89.41. The results of the t test obtained t value = 6.045 with a significance level of 0.000 < = 0.05.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tiga tujuan yaitu, (1).Untuk mengetahui skenario dan implementasi pembelajaran kemampuan berpikir kritis matematik pada materi FPB siswa SD kelas V dengan menggunakan model Student Facilitator and Explaining. (2). Untuk mengetahui respon guru dan siswa terhadap pembelajaran kemampuan berpikir kritis matematik pada materi FPB siswa SD kelas V dengan menggunakan model Student Facilitator and Explaining. (3). Untuk mengetahui kesulitan-kesulitan apa saja yang dihadapi siswa dalam mengerjakan soal-soal dan tugas-tugas keterampilan berpikir kritis matematik pada materi FPB siswa SD kelas V dengan menggunakan model Student Facilitator and Explaining. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Deskriptif kualitatif, yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran matematika pada kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika pada materi (FPB) siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar (SD) dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SD kelas V di salah satu SD Negeri di Kota Cimahi yang berjumlah 10 orang Tahun ajaran 2019-2020.Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh selama pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model Student Facilitator and Explaining menunjukkan hasil yang sangat baik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian ini siswa mengalami peningkatan pada pembelajaran kemampuan berpikir kritis pada materi FPB siswa SD kelas V dengan menggunakan model Student Facilitator and Explaining.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the role of the ecological learning environment and the level of students' self-development on the learning motivation of elementary school students in Nalumsari District, Jepara Regency. This study uses a correlational quantitative approach. The object of the research includes three public elementary schools consisting of SDN 2 Bendanpete, SDN 1 Ngetuk and SDN 1 Bategede. The research subjects included students and their guardians from the three state elementary schools which had a population of 632 students and the sampling method used was the Slovin technique (n=87). Data collection techniques used the method of observation, documentation and questionnaires. Data analysis technique with regression analysis with SPSS. The results showed that partially the ecological learning environment had a significant positive effect on students' learning motivation. Likewise, student self-development has a significant positive effect on student learning motivation partially. The results of multiple linear regression showed that the coefficient value for the student's learning ecological environment variable had a significant negative effect on the student's learning motivation variable, while the student's level of self-development variable had a significant positive effect on the learning motivation variable.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah pembelajaran kemampuan berfikir kritis pembelajaran daring pada materi menemukan pesan dalam cerita rakyat dengan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik  berbantuan  media youtube pada siswa kelas IV SD Harapan Kasih. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Harapan Kasih Kota Bandung dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 69 orang yang terdiri dari 33 orang siswa laki-laki dan 36 orang siswa perempuan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi guru dan siswa, soal menjawab pertanyaan menemukan pesan dalam cerita rakyat, serta angket wawancara guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran ketika diterapkannya pendekatan saintifik. Hal tersebut ditunjukan dengan nilai rata-rata kelas dalam materi menemukan pesan dalam cerita rakyat sebesar 93,23 yang tergolong dalam kategori baik, nilai tertinggi siswa sebesar  100 dan nilai terendah sebesar 53. Ketuntasan belajar siswa menunjukan 96,0% siswa mendapatkan nilai diatas kriteria ketuntasan minimum dan 3,3% masih mendapat nilai dibawah nilai kriteria ketuntasan minimum.
