Abstract

Creative thinking skills of elementary teacher education students' needs to be improved in a fun social studies learning process. One of the lessons that can make learning a pleasant atmosphere is to apply knowledge by applying traditional games. This research aims to increase the creativity of elementary teacher education students in utilizing traditional games to preserve the nation's culture. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with a nonrandomized pretest-posttest control group. The instrument used in this study was a tablet-shaped observation instrument. This research shows that learning science by applying traditional games can improve elementary teacher education students' creative thinking skills. It can be seen from the learning outcomes of elementary teacher education students social studies using traditional games that are better than conventional learning.

Abstract

This research is based on the finding that every student has abilities and life values that they are not aware of regarding value education. This study aims to analyze learning planning in an effort to increase students' motivation and learning outcomes in social studies learning with the Value Clarification Technology method. The research design uses a quasi-experimental research model. The data collected is in the form of quantitative data through formative tests, analysis of observation sheets, and document analysis. The number of research subjects consisted of 60 students divided into two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. This research was conducted in a public school located in the Ciwidey District, Bandung Regency. The results showed that the application of the VCT model could increase students' motivation and learning outcomes in social studies learning. This is because the Value Clarification Technology model of the Value Analysis Type can be focused on things that are considered important by the teacher so that these important things can be observed in their entirety. The conclusion in this study is that learning using the Value Clarification Technique model of Value Analysis in Social Studies learning can increase students' motivation and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted all areas of life. Based on government restrictions, all educational institutions have implemented online learning. This study investigates elementary students' online learning experiences in rural areas. It refers to the data collected about: students learning motivation, students learning requirements and students' social skills. Data was collected through an online survey. Data were analyzed through three stages of Miles & Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that during the Covid-19 pandemic, online learning was less effective for elementary students in rural areas. The value of this study is for comprehending what factors support and interfere with the learning satisfaction of elementary students in rural areas related to online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPS merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran pokok dalam kurikulum pendidikan bahasa Indonesia, termasuk jenjang sekolah dasar.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menelaah Skenario dan implementasi pembelajaran kegiatan jual beli melalui model pembelajaran role playing pada siswa kelas III SD.Dari hasil observasi rendahnya belajar siswa pada pelajaran IPS terlihat siswa merasa cepat bosan dan kurang termotivasi sehingga siswa menjadi sulit memahami materi.Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut,peneliti menggunakan model pembelajaran role playing pada siswa kelas III SD untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran kegiatan jual beli.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif,peneliti ingin menggambarkan mengenai pembelajaran kegiatan jual beli melalui model pembelajaran role playing pada siswa kelas 3 SD.Harapannya supaya peneliti bisa menjelaskan upaya-upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran, khususnya pembelajaran kegiatan jual beli.Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SDN Sariwangi Tahun ajaran 2019-2020.Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh selama pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model role playing menunjukkan hasil yang sangat baik. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa pada penelitian ini menunjukkan keberhasilan dalam pembelajaran kegiatan jual beli melalui model pembelajaran role playing pada siswa kelas III SDN Sariwangi.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan bagian penting dari kehidupan manusia, maka dari itu pendidikan akan bergantung pada budaya setiap manusia. Nilai-nilai pendidikan akan selalu mengekor pada setiap langkah kebudayaan. Pendidikan merupakan salah satu unsur kebudayaan karena proses pendidikan pada dasarnya merupakan hakikat dari kebudayaan itu sendiri, maka dari itu pendidikan memiliki berbagai latar dalam budaya. Setiap budaya memiliki nilai dan norma yang berkembang pada setiap kelompok masyarakat, nilai dan norma ini akan menjadi aspek pembelajar bagi manusia, bisa menjadi landasan bagi masyarakat untuk menjalani kehidupan. Proses ini dinamakan sebuah pendidikan yang berlatar pada budaya masyarakat. Pendidikan yang dilatar belakangi dari budaya dan kebiasaan masyarakat akan memunculkan sebuah konsep bernama pendidikan multikultur. Sebuah konsep dimana perbedaan merupakan sebuah kekayaan. Karena pada dasarnya pendidika harus menjadi alat pemersatu masyarakat di tengah-tengah berbagai macam perbedaan budaya yang terjadi di kehidupan sosial

Abstract

AbstractThis research is backed by the emergence of distance learning (PJJ) or learning from home (BDR) where all learners follow online learning. This research aims to obtain an overview of how science-based Activities of IPA-class V elementary School at the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used in this study is a descriptive quanlitative. In this study, the population was 12 students at SDN 017 Sekejati and SDN 038 Kiaracondong in the city of Bandung. The samples of this study were elementary school students in Kota Bandung 5th grade, with 4 students below average, 4 students to suit the average, and 4 students who were capable of above average class. The instrument used in this study is about 6 descriptions of the problem. Data analysis is done qualitatively, the data is derived from the interview results. Analysis of data obtained in general online learning is not suitable for ELEMENTARY students due to many obstacles faced. Based on the results of research obtained: IPA Learning activities based online in class V using video, Googlemeet, and image media. Teachers and students argue that online learning at the time of Covid-19 is not suitable for ELEMENTARY students.  Keywords: SCIENCE-based Learning Online Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh munculnya Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) atau Belajar Dari Rumah (BDR) dimana seluruh peserta didik mengikuti pembelajaran secara online . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai bagaimana kegiatan pembelajaran IPA berbasis online di Kelas V SD pada masa pandemic covid-19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini, populasi yang diambil adalah 12 siswa SDN 017 Sekejati dengan siswa SDN 038 Kiaracondong di Kota Bandung. Adapun yang menjadi sampel dari penelitian ini adalah siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kota Bandung kelas 5 dengan 4 siswa berkemampuan di bawah rata-rata kelas, 4 siswa berkemampuan sesuai rata- rata kelas dan 4 siswa yang berkemampuan di atas rata-rata kelas. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu soal uraian sebanyak 6 soal. Analisis data  dilakukan secara kualitatif, data tersebut diambil dari hasil wawancara. Analisis data didapat secara umum pembelajaran online tidak cocok untuk siswa SD disebabkan banyak kendala yang dihadapinya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh: Kegiatan pembelajaran IPA berbasis online di Kelas V menggunakan video, googlemeet, dan media gambar. Guru maupun siswa berpendapat pembelajaran online di masa covid-19 tidak cocok diterapkan pada siswa SD Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran IPA berbasis online

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah konsep pembelajaran, persamaan dan perbedaan, serta relevansi atau penerapan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan PAIKEM. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (Qualitatif Research/Library Research) yang bertujuan untuk mencari dan mengumpulkan data, menyusun, menggunakan serta menafsirkan data yang sudah ada. Adapun pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian pustaka.. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode analisis data diantaranya adalah metode deskriptif analitis dan metode komparatif. Konsep penerapan pendekatan PAIKEM pada skripsi yang berjudul Penerapan PAIKEM Untuk Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Siswa Dalam Memahami Perkalian Bilangan dan Wujud Benda di Kelas II SDN 3 Ciharashas (Tema Bermain di Lingkunganku, Subtema Bermain di Rumah Teman, Pembelajaran 3). Tahun 2016, Penerapan Model PAIKEM Dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Materi Sifat – sifat Simetri Bangun Datar Di Kelas V SD Negeri 15 Baruga Kendari. Tahun 2018, dan Pengaruh Strategi PAIKEM Terhadap Minat Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas VII MTs. NURUSSALAMAH MONTONG ARE TAHUN PELAJARAN 2016/2017 sudah sesuai dengan implementasi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan setelah diterapkannya pendekatan PAIKEM pada proses pembelajaran. Persamaan yang ada pada penelitian yang dilakukan oleh penulis pada ketiga skripsi tersebut terletak pada penggunaan startegi pembelajaran yang digunakan yaitu PAIKEM dan materi yang dibahas pada ketiga skripsi tersebut berkaitan dengan mata pelajaran matematika. Sedangkan perbedaannya terletak pada metode penelitian yang digunakan serta subjek penelitian. Relevansi penerapan pada ketiga skripsi tersebut terlihat ada keterkaitan PAIKEM dalam  meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan berdasarkan data hasil penerapan pembelajaran PAIKEM pada ketiga skripsi tersebut. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan PAIKEM dapat digunakan untuk mata pelajaran matematika yang ditulis dalam judul Penerapan Pendekatan PAIKEM Untuk Siswa Kelas II SD Untuk Mengukur Pemahaman Siswa Pada Materi Perbandingan Panjang Benda.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the difference in students' scientific literacy skills between students who apply the PjBL model integrated STEM-assisted science literacy modules and students who apply lecture learning accompanied by experiments. The subjects of this study were 60 Elementary Teacher Education students who were divided into two classes at IKIP Siliwangi Bandung. This study used a comparative research method with a quantitative approach. The data collection method used was the scientific literacy skills test method. The test instrument in this study measured three scientific literacy competencies, namely the ability to explain scientific phenomena, evaluate and design scientific investigations, and interpret scientific data and evidence. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques and an Independent Sample T-Test. This study's results showed that the average scientific literacy ability of students who received the STEM-integrated PjBL model in this study was 83. The T-test of average students' scientific literacy ability showed that the PjBL model integrated STEM-assisted modules affected students' scientific literacy skills better than lecture learning accompanied by experiments. The recommendation of this study is further research to modify the STEM-integrated PjBL model assisted by this module to be more effective in improving students' ability to interpret scientific data and evidence.
