Jurnal Kajian Manajemen Bisnis (JKMB) merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Padang yang menjadi media untuk mempublikasikan artikel hasil penelitian dalam bidang manajemen, bisnis dan kewirausahaan yang terbit dua kali setahun. <![CDATA[This reseach aims to determine the effect of the stock split analysis of the trading volume and stock returns. This study using a quantitative research design causal. In this study population is all companies doing stock split at the company, which is listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on 2011-2015, whose number is not known and the sample totaling 22 companies. Data were collected by using documentation. Data analyzed using paired sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that (1) there was no change in the volume of stock trading before and after the stock split and (2) there was no difference in stock returns before and after the stock split on the company stock split in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) 2011-2015.]]>

<![CDATA[The aims of this research are to analyze (1) The influence of leadership toward motivation (2) The influence of leadership and motivation toward discipline of work. The type of this research belongs to descriptive causative research. Population used for this research was 65 people. The technique used for the sample is Proportional Stratified Random Sampling which taken based on the level of education where this sample was 56 people. Primary data taken from questioner distribution toward respondent, then secondary data taken from the data, which is correlated to the research given by Koperasi Keluarga Besar Semen Padang. Technique analysis used for this research is path analysis with SPSS program version 16. The results of this research show that (1) There is no significant relationship between leadership and motivation. (2) There is significant relationship between leadership and discipline of work. (3) There is significant relationship between motivation and discipline of work.Based on research and resume, so it is suggested to the chief to notice the leadership aspect, motivation and increase the discipline of work to Koperasi Keluarga Besar Semen Padang employee to reach the goals of the company.]]>

<![CDATA[The objective of this research is to find characteristic of leader related to their work values in Padang State University in order to manage the academic process in Padang State University. The population of this research was all academic leaders in Padang State University. Then sample was consist of 75 academic leader’s in all of faculty in Padang State University. Survey about the influence of self awareness, motivation and machiavelism toward work value of the academic leader of Padang State University found that hard effort gives more influence rather than success value and this result shows that to build the leader work value it must be started from honesty, self confident and self evaluation of the academic leader of Padang State University, this factor will give more influence to increase ambition, doing the right thing and successfully. Motivation gives significant influence toward work value of academic leader of Padang State University. It is means to increase the leader work value should be started from the increase of motivation.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of product design and price on consumer interest in buying Jepara Teak furniture at the New Furniture Business Shop in Lubuk Alung. This type of research is associative quantitative research, the number of research samples were 100 people. Data was collected in the form of questionnaires and using analyzed SPSS software ver.21.0 for Windows. The conclusions from this study is the product design variable (X1) has a significant positive effect on purchase decision in Jati Jepara furniture at the New Furniture Business Shop in Lubuk Alung, as evidenced by t value > t table (10,400> 1,660) and a significant influence between price variables ( X2) purchase decision with t value> t table (2,015> 1,660). There is a positive and significant influence between product design (X1) price (X2), on purchase decision of Jati Jepara furniture consumers with an F-value 156,644> F- table (3,09) means that it affects together. The coefficient of determination (R²) results obtained a coefficient of 0.764 or 76.4%, while 23.6% is influenced by other variables.Keywords: Product design; prices; purchase decision.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of Capital Expenditure, capital structure and profitability to firm value (Price to Book Value) on Manufacturer company which listed on Indonesian stock exchange. This research include to causative research. Research sample was chosen by purposive sampling method and research period in 2006 untill 2009, so the sample of this research is 106 companies. The kind of data is secondary data from www.idx.co.id. Analysis method is double linear regression. Hyphotesis test use t statistic test. The result of this research shows that Capital Expenditure (Ln Capital Expenditure Ratio) and Profitability (Ln ROE) that impact to firm value (Ln Price to Book Value). Meanwhile, capital structure (Ln LTDER) can not influence firm value (Ln Price to Book Value).]]>

<![CDATA[The purposes in this research are to examine the effect of dividend policy, investment opportunities, and profitability on investment decision of property and real estate in Indonesia stock exchange. The population is all property and real estate company registered in Indonesian stock exchange period 2009-2013. The result shows that: 1) The dividend policy has a negative significant affect on the investment decision of property and real estate in Indonesia stock exchange, 2) the investment opportunity has a positive significant affect on the investment decision of property and real estate in Indonesian stock exchange, 3) the profitability has a positive affect but not significant on the investment decision of property and real estate in Indonesia stock exchange.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to examine the relationship between service quality dimensions and revisit intention. The population of this study is tourists who visited “Carocok Painan Beachâ€. This research employed 100 respondents as the samples. By using linear regression analysis, this study found that all service quality dimensions, including tangible, responsiveness, reliability, assurance and empathy have significant and positive impacts on tourist’s revisit intention. <![CDATA[This research was aimed at analyzing: (1) the effect of organizational culture on the work satisfaction, (2) the effect of Locus of Control on the work satisfaction, and (3) the effect of leadership on the work satisfaction. This research was conducted at PT. BPR Guguk Mas Makmur Kabupaten Lima Puluh kota. The population of the research was all employees working at PT. BPR Guguk Mas Makmur that consisted of 30 fellows. The sample was chosen by using total sampling technique. The data gotten from the sample was analyzed by using descriptive and causative analyses assisted with SPSS version 15.00. The result of the research showed that; (1) organizational culture had a significant effect on the work satisfaction in which the level of significance was 0.048 (0.048<0.05), (2) Locus of Control did not affect the work satisfaction significantly in which the level of significance was 0.596 (0.596>0.05), and (3) leadership had a significant effect on the work satisfaction in which the level of significance was 0.001. Based on the result of the research, it was suggested to the company to concern on the employee’s condition that they can work well and purposeful. In addition, creating conducive work atmosphere and harmonic relationship among the employees in order to raise the employees work satisfaction should also be taken into account.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine how the influence Inventory Turnover and Fixed Asset Turnover on Return On Equity (ROE) either partially or simultaneously in various industrial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2010-2013. This research approach is qualitative approach, which is based on the approach of testing and analyzing the theory composed of variables, measurement used numbers, and analyzed using statistical procedures. The population in this study is a pharmaceutical company which is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2009-2013. The sample in this research is determined by purposive sampling. Of the 10 companies, has been acquired 8 companies that meet the criteria for the research sample. Data used in this research is secondary data. Data analysis techniques in this study adala using multiple linear regression analysis, testing classical assumptions and hypothesis testing using SPSS version 16 o'clock. These results indicate that partially Inventory Turnover significant effect on ROE with significant value 0.001 <0.05, Fixed Asset Turnover not significant effect on ROE with significance 0.625 > 0.05.
