Abstract

This paper aims to formulate and examine the best intervention model in countering pangolin trafficking. This involves the political economy analysis (PEA) and the market analysis, prioritising through harm identification, and the response by intervention formulation. The preferred intervention is then examined by the theory of change to determine its process in pursuing the impact. It utilises qualitative approach by using document reviews as data collection method. This paper finds that pangolin market is led by the “push” factors in Indonesia influenced by the geographical condition, which has a wide range of tropical forests as pangolin habitat. Moreover, the low level of GDP and education rates is the main factor behind pangolin trading. While, the “pull” factors in China are influenced by the high demand rates that cannot be covered by its local pangolins population. Finally, the author suggests that the general deterrence approach is regarded as the best model to intervene in the market. This approach could reduce the supply and demand to cut the market chain.Keywords: political economy analysis, market analysis, general deterrence, wildlife trafficking, pangolin.

Abstract

AbstractData is an asset for all parties. So that it must always be guarded or secured so that it is not misused by irresponsible parties. One of the methods used for data security is steganography. In this paper, efforts to secure data are discussed through the development of steganographic algorithms using the Haar integer wavelet transform (IWT-Haar) and least significant bit (LSB) techniques to hide secret messages in the form of digital text into digital images (cover images) to produce stego images. The results show that the extracting process is much faster than the embedding process. The PSNR values obtained ranged from 55-71,5 dB (far greater than 40 dB). This shows that the resulting stego image is of very good quality. In plain view, the difference between the cover image and the stego image has not changed significantly.Key words: digital image, embedding, extraction, Haar integer wavelet transform, steganography

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk menegetahui sejauh mana memaksimalkan tugas subbid. Narkoba Forensik dalam mendukung proses penyidikan tindak pidana narkoba, dimana penelitian ini menggunakan metode diskritif analisis untuk mencari dan mendapatkan solusi pemecahan masalah yang didasarkan pada teori-teori yang relevan, referensi dan materi pelajaran yang dikaitkan dengan data-data serta keterangan. Dari peneltian tersebut diperoleh hasil bahwa ada beberapa tugas subbid narkoba yang kurang maksismal diantaranya belum semua jenis barang bukti dapat diperiksa, waktu pemeriksaan yang relatif lama dan adanya keterbatasan sumber daya manusia. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, maka permasalahan tersebut dianalisa dengan teori kompetensi sebgai pisau analis untuk memecahkan masalah, sehingga diperoleh kondisi ideal yang diharapkan, baik adri segi dukungan sumber daya manusia, dukungan anggaran, dukungan sarana dan prasarana serta dukungan metode pemeriksaan barang bukti narkoba.Kata Kunci : Narkoba Forensik, Tindak Pidana narkoba, Penyidikan

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi, politik, demografi, dan ekonomi di Indonesia berlangsung secara hampir bersamaan dan terjadi secara instan. Hal ini berdampak pada terjadinya transformasi kehidupan personal dalam skala besar dan kompleks, termasuk di dalamnya kehidupan social bermasyarakat.
