Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan manajemen pembelajaran yang responsif terhadap karakteristik siswa di SDN Banjaranyar 04 Kabupaten Brebes, Jawa Tengah. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap guru serta siswa kelas V. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada bagaimana guru merancang, melaksanakan, dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran berdasarkan keberagaman kemampuan, minat, dan gaya belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru telah menerapkan prinsip manajemen pembelajaran responsif melalui penerapan strategi diferensiasi dalam konten, proses, dan produk pembelajaran, serta penggunaan asesmen formatif yang menyesuaikan kebutuhan individu. Pendekatan ini menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang adaptif, partisipatif, dan berpusat pada peserta didik. Selain itu, pembelajaran yang responsif terbukti mampu meningkatkan motivasi, kepercayaan diri, serta hasil belajar siswa secara lebih merata. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa manajemen pembelajaran yang tanggap terhadap karakteristik peserta didik merupakan fondasi penting dalam mewujudkan pendidikan yang inklusif, humanis, dan relevan dengan semangat Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Castellated beams are widely applied in modern steel structures due to their lightweight characteristics and high stiffness. While most previous studies have focused on natural frequency and stiffness behavior, limited attention has been given to the damping performance of castellated beams with different web-opening geometries. This study investigates the effect of opening shape and spacing on the damping ratio (ζ) of IWF steel castellated beams using finite element simulations in Abaqus. The damping ratio was derived from the free-vibration decay curve using the logarithmic decrement method, which allows the damping value to be determined accurately from the curve data. This method is particularly suitable for steel structures, as steel typically has low damping. Results indicate that the solid beam exhibits a baseline damping ratio of 3.3%, while circular openings maintain relatively stable damping values between 2.9–3.1%. In contrast, square openings reduce ζ more significantly, reaching values as low as 2.6%. This study suggests adopting circular web openings in castellated steel beams, as this configuration demonstrates superior structural performance and yields response values closer to those of solid steel than square openings. These findings highlight that opening geometry and spacing significantly affect the dissipation of vibration energy in castellated beams. The outcomes provide useful insights for designing vibration-sensitive steel structures, particularly for long-span applications.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji validitas konstruk dan reliabilitas instrumen kemandirian belajar matematika pada siswa SMP yang disusun berdasarkan model self-regulated learning Zimmerman. Instrumen terdiri atas 18 butir pernyataan yang mencakup tiga aspek, yaitu perencanaan, pemantauan, dan refleksi. Sebanyak 124 siswa dari tiga SMP di Kecamatan Banda berpartisipasi sebagai responden melalui teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata item berkisar antara 2.87 hingga 3.66 dengan standar deviasi 0.501 hingga 0.754, yang mengindikasikan tingkat kemandirian belajar siswa berada pada kategori sedang hingga tinggi. Validitas konstruk dianalisis menggunakan Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa model tiga faktor memiliki tingkat kesesuaian yang baik dengan data, dengan nilai fit indices memenuhi kriteria yang dipersyaratkan. Seluruh item memiliki nilai loading factor ≥ 0.50 dan signifikan pada p < 0.05. Uji reliabilitas juga menunjukkan hasil yang baik, dengan nilai Composite Reliability dan AVE berada di atas batas minimal. Dengan demikian, instrumen kemandirian belajar matematika ini dinyatakan valid dan reliabel untuk digunakan dalam mengukur tingkat kemandirian belajar siswa SMP.

Abstract

Educational management is increasingly complex due to policy changes, technological advancements, and dynamic social demands. These conditions require management approaches that are both systemic and context-sensitive. This study aims to systematically examine the application of organisational system theory and contingency theory in educational management and to identify patterns of their integration. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. A total of 33 peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2015 and 2024 were retrieved from Scopus, Google Scholar, and DOAJ databases. Data were analysed using a thematic synthesis approach based on theoretical focus and implementation context. The findings indicate that organisational system theory emphasises integration, interdependence among subsystems, and organisational sustainability, while contingency theory highlights leadership flexibility and alignment between management strategies and environmental conditions. The integration of these two theories provides a more comprehensive and adaptive framework for improving educational management effectiveness, particularly within Islamic educational institutions. This study contributes to the development of context-sensitive and sustainable educational management theory.

Abstract

This study examines how progressive political discourse articulates ideology, constructs collective identity, and negotiates power relations between the public and political elites within the context of contemporary democracy. Using a critical qualitative design, the research was grounded in Fairclough’s critical discourse analysis framework: micro, mezzo, and macro. The data were taken from Zohran Mamdani’s victory speech published by the official ABC News YouTube channel. At the micro level, Mamdani frames the electoral victory as the result of a collective struggle through lexical, modal, metaphorical, rhetorical, and agency constructions that delegitimize elites and normalize demands for structural change. At the mezzo level, the speech reconstructs the victory speech genre by linking it to a narrative of ongoing struggle through historical intertextuality and media distribution strategies that position the audience as active political subjects. At the macro level, the discourse operates as an ideological intervention that challenges neoliberal and oligarchic hegemony by asserting democratic socialism as a response to inequality in contemporary democracy. Hence, the study concludes that critical discourse analysis provides a robust analytical lens for uncovering the role of language in both reproducing and contesting power relations, thereby contributing to a more critical understanding of political discourse in democratic contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of financial literacy, social environment, and a consumptive lifestyle on adolescents' financial patterns. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 100 adolescents aged 20–24 years as a sample, randomly selected in South Siantar District. Data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire with a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that financial literacy, social environment, and a consumptive lifestyle significantly influence adolescents' financial patterns. Partially, financial literacy has a positive influence, while a consumptive lifestyle has a negative influence on adolescents' financial patterns. The social environment also showed a significant influence on adolescents' financial patterns. The resulting regression model had a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.959, indicating that 95.9% of the variation in adolescents' financial patterns can be explained by these three independent variables. The implications of this study's results indicate that to form healthy financial patterns in adolescents, it is important to improve financial literacy and create a positive social environment, as well as reduce a consumptive lifestyle.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap pemahaman soal cerita matematika siswa kelas VI sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan metode quasi experiment dengan desain nonequivalent control group. Kelas eksperimen adalah kelas VI SD Negeri Randusari Sleman yang menerapkan PBL, sedangkan kelas kontrol adalah kelas VI SD Negeri Koroulon 2 yang menggunakan pembelajaran kontekstual. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan secara purposif dengan mempertimbangkan kesamaan karakteristik akademik dan kondisi pembelajaran. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes esai pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur pemahaman soal cerita, didukung dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji hipotesis Independent Samples T-Test setelah memenuhi uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa pada kelas PBL mengalami peningkatan pemahaman yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontekstual. Perbedaan tersebut signifikan secara statistik, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa PBL lebih efektif dalam membantu siswa memahami, menganalisis, dan menyelesaikan soal cerita secara sistematis. Model PBL direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kontekstual siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of the exam questions tested on students in the even semester of grade 5 of elementary school. This study is a qualitative study. The data collection in the form of exam questions and student answer keys will be examined using Anates ver.0.9 media technology to determine the level of quality of the tests tested on students. The results of this study prove that there is a sufficient level of conformity between the question grids that have been provided with the questions that have been evaluated. When viewed from the characteristics of the questions based on Bloom's Taxonomy in the even semester exam questions, both thematic and topic questions, many questions use low characteristics, in fact not a single question was found that fell into the high characteristic category. There is a contrast or difference in effectiveness between exam questions that use thematic and exams that use subjects. The number of valid questions related to thematic test topics in SD Negeri 081234 and SD Negeri 084081 is fewer than the number of questions related to subjects in SD Negeri 084087 and SD Negeri 081224. Reliability scores are higher for level assessments, as well as for questions that focus more on themes than specific subjects. The level of difficulty of the questions is determined by the number of questions other than subject matter that are included in the difficult category.

Abstract

This study aims to create a non-textbook on SDGs-based biodiversity in Sumatra with practical applications that improve students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This ADDIE-based development research involved two classes of grade X students at SMA Negeri 1 Paranginan: experimental and control. Independent-samples t-tests were used to assess the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of the research data. This study found that the non-textbook on SDGs-based biodiversity in Sumatra is playful, practical, and effective in developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills of grade X students of SMA Negeri 1 Paranginan. Feasibility was met based on validation results from materials (80.0%), learning (89.3%), and media/design experts (78.7%), indicating feasibility. The biology instructor’s response questionnaire (83.6%) and the student's response questionnaire (76.2%) indicated a practical orientation. The evaluation results showed effectiveness, with N-gain values of 75.7% for critical thinking skills and 65.5% for problem-solving skills in the experimental class. Hypothesis testing confirmed the effectiveness (Sig.= 0.000 < 0.05) and (Sig.= 0.007 < 0.05).
