Abstract

The low ability of students at SDN 2 Kauman Ponorogo in learning mathematics often becomes a challenge that affects the effectiveness of the learning process. Many students consider mathematics to be one of the difficult and boring subjects. To address this, Snake and Ladders was introduced as a game-based media capable of creating an active and interactive learning process. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Snake and Ladders games in mathematics learning and to analyze its effect on improving learning outcomes as well as the active involvement of fifth-grade students at SDN 2 Kauman Ponorogo. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and the research subjects consist of 2 teachers and 14 fifth-grade students. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model, which includes data condensation, data collection, data display, drawing conclusions systematically, and verification. The research results showed an increase in active participation and student learning outcomes after using the Snake and Ladders games as a medium in mathematics learning. This improvement is indicated by the rising trends in students' learning outcome scores as well as positive changes in the active participation table. These findings are supported by observations and interviews showing that students are more enthusiastic and can easily understand the material. Therefore, the Snake and Ladders game can be used as an alternative innovative learning medium to create an active and interactive mathematics learning environment in primary schools.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of students' concept images in constructing proofs and solving mathematical problems. This study uses a qualitative approach with a grounded theory method. This study was conducted at SMA Swasta Pembangunan Galang, with a population of 20 students and a sample of 10 male and 10 female students in grade XI. Research data were obtained through analysis of student work, mathematical proof and problem-solving ability tests, and the interpretation of students' thinking processes across high, medium, and low ability categories. The results of the study indicate that the concept image has an important role in helping students understand concepts, construct proofs, and solve mathematical problems. Students who have a good concept image tend to absorb material more easily, are more active in the learning process, and have a deeper understanding of concepts. In addition, mastery of the concept image also contributes to strengthening students' retention of mathematical material. In addition, this study found differences in the use of the concept image between male and female students, especially in determining the initial steps, using mathematical language, and employing strategies for presenting solutions to mathematical problems.

Abstract

This study aims to create a learning aid product based on a realistic, practical, effective, and enhanced problem-based learning model to improve the problem-solving and teamwork abilities of eighth-grade students of SMP WR. Supratman 1 Medan. This research technique, developed by Thiagarajan and Semmel, is a learning aid known as the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Class VIIIA students of SMP WR. Supratman 1 Medan in the 2025/2026 academic year became the subject of the study. Valid and practical problem-based learning aids based on the learning aid plan, Student Worksheets, Teacher's Books, and Student Books were found in this study. Students' mathematical problem-solving abilities increased after using problem-based learning on a system of linear equations with two variables, as shown by an average of 86% achievement in the posttest of experiment I and experiment II. Problem-based learning on a system of linear equations with two variables improved students' ability to collaborate mathematically, as evidenced by their average scores in experiments I and II.

Abstract

This study seeks; To identify errors, alternate answer processes, and student problem-based learning activities. This qualitative descriptive miles huberman research was conducted at SMP Negeri 27 Medan, class VIII, in 2025/2026. This study included 29 students. The most common errors in this study are calculation errors and not writing the final conclusion, so problem-based learning models can improve students' conceptual understanding but have not completely minimized errors in the process and coding skills stage. Therefore, procedural accuracy and mathematical communication skills must be emphasized to minimize student errors. Overall, the study shows that the Newman approach can reveal student errors in handling SPLDV problems. Problem-based learning models can also improve conceptual understanding and student learning, reducing mathematical errors.

Abstract

Indonesia, which possesses significant renewable energy potential, is at a critical stage in its energy transition. Through the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP), the country has secured an international financing commitment of USD 20 billion. However, access to these funds depends on meeting several requirements related to policy reform, transparency, and clear implementation strategies. This study aims to examine the challenges faced by Indonesia in fulfilling these requirements and to analyze the relationship between global climate finance expectations and Indonesia’s domestic socio-economic and political dynamics. This research employs a qualitative case study approach based on document analysis of the JETP agreement, government policies, and reports from international organizations and civil society groups. The findings indicate that although Indonesia demonstrates strong commitment to energy transition, policy reforms frequently encounter resistance from existing regulatory frameworks and entrenched interests within the fossil fuel sector. In addition, limited transparency in project selection and weak inter-institutional coordination continue to constrain effective fund utilization. These findings suggest that the success of JETP implementation depends not only on financial absorption capacity but also on strengthened governance, regulatory consistency, and transparent implementation frameworks.

Abstract

Religious moderation is an increasingly pressing national priority in Indonesia. However, campus mosque programs, despite their strategic position as co-curricular development spaces in higher education, have not been systematically designed based on measurable moderation indicators. This study aims to: describe the operational model of campus mosque revitalization in promoting religious moderation among students; and assess the strengths and weaknesses of this model in relation to the objectives of religious moderation. A qualitative cross-sectional case study was conducted at five purposively selected campus mosques in West Java: Al-Furqon Mosque (UPI), Salman Mosque (ITB), Ikomah Mosque (UIN Sunan Gunung Djati), Agung Mosque (UNPAD), and Ukhuwah Islamiyah Mosque (UI). Data were collected through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, contextual observations, and document analysis, then analyzed using thematic analysis. The revitalization of campus mosques in the five locations was implemented through three integrated dimensions of worship, education, and welfare with a cadre-based and inclusive management system. Its main strengths are: holistic development, inclusive governance, cadre sustainability, and contextual responsiveness. However, weaknesses remain: the lack of indicator-based design, standard operating procedures, monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, minimal interfaith literacy, and formal integration with general and character education. In conclusion, campus mosques have a strong foundation for religious moderation, but require a more structured, indicator-based, and institutionalized revitalization model to ensure measurable and sustainable impact.
