Abstract

Alignment of education and care between Early Childhood Education institutions and families is an important factor in a child's success. Parenting activities are one of the programs run by early childhood education institutions as an effort to harmonize education and care between parents and educators. The implementation of parenting programs needs to be innovated to provide awareness and knowledge about appropriate stimulation for child development, so that there is continuity of education and care at home and in early childhood education institutions. This research examines the blended parenting program as an innovative parenting program implemented by the Istiqomah at Sambas Purbalingga. This qualitative research was conducted by interviews, observations and document searches to collect data. The proscess of data analysis is done through reduction, analysis and classification. The purpose of this research is to explore and describe the implementation of the blended parenting program conducted by the Istiqomah Sambas Purbalingga Early Childhood Education institution. The results of the research show that the blended parenting program is carried out through the stages of planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the program. The blended parenting program provides knowledge to parents about stimulating education and proper parenting, strengthens cooperation between parents and institutions, aligns education and care at home and at institutions and realizes children's learning readiness towards basic education.

Abstract

Children's dependence on watching on YouTube currently makes their physical and motor skills do not develop optimally. we can use YouTube to make children more active in moving through the activity of Creating Youtube Vlog Videos. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it shows that Creating Youtube Vlog Videos activities can stimulate the physical-motor development of early childhood. Because in the process of making videos that will be uploaded on YouTube, it allows children to carry out various physical motor movements and then record them in video form. Through this activity, children become excited about doing motor-physical activities because they can watch videos of the movements they have done.

Abstract

This research examines the resilience of PAUD teachers in terms of emotional regulation, age and years of service in inclusive schools. The aim of this research is to analyze a teacher's regulation in terms of emotional regulation, the teacher's age and the teacher's length of service. This type of research is quantitative correlational. This approach is included in the correlational category because this research looks for whether there is a relationship between one variable and another variable and if there is a relationship then we look for the extent of the relationship between the variables. The variables in this research consist of Resilience and Emotional Regulation, Age and Years of Work. The sample in this research was 60 people. The data analysis method used is multiple regression. The research results found that emotional regulation, age and years of service had a significant effect on the resilience of PAUD teachers, 75.1% of the resilience of preschool teachers was influenced by emotional regulation, and 75.1% of age influenced the resilience of PAUD teachers in inclusive schools. It is hoped that future researchers will be able to develop the resilience of PAUD teachers in inclusive schools from other aspects. This article describes the activities of practicum batik in early childhood early childhood is age 6-8 years. Methods of this action research using a combined method that is using qualitative methods and quantitative methods. The action research model used is the Kemmis and Taggart model. Research data obtained from observation and interview. The results of this study indicate an increase in the creativity of children through the practice of batik “tulis” and batik “jumputan” (tie dye). Playing activities and interests of children on the practice of batik, is a capability that is characterized by four aspects of creativity: fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the symbolic thiking skills of children aged 5-6 years through dance movements. The method used was classroom action research conducted in three cycles. Data collection methode used in this research were observation, documentation, interviews and field notes. The subjects of this research were group B children who experienced problems in symbolic thinking such as recognizing number and letter symbols, matching number names with number pictures, children had difficulty distinguishing the shapes of numbers and letters which were almost the same. Based on the results of the research in cycle 1, it showed that there was an increase in children’s symbolic thinking skills between before and after giving action to children aged 5-6 years at PAUD SPS Cempaka. This is evidenced by an increase in the first cycle of 8,7%, from the initial conditions of 34,4% to 43.1%, the second cycle experienced an increase of 21,2%, from the initial conditions of 34,4% to 55,6% in cycle III there was an increase of 42,3% in the initial conditions of 34,4% to 76,7%. This can be concluded that the application of dance moves can improve children’s symbolic thinking skills at the age of 5-6 years.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Problems of Parents in Instilling Children’s Worship Education in Kampung Baru Village, Medan Maimun District and how efforts to overcome these problems. The method used is descriptive qualitative method with the type of research that is field research or field research. Data collection is done by conducting interviews with parents in Kampung Baru Village, Medan Maimun Subdistrict as the primary data source then observation is done by observing how parents instill worship education to children, by seeing the application of worship education carried out by children. Data analysis techniques are carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. The results showed that the problems faced by parents are the lack of time owned by parents to instill children’s worship education, as well as the lack of knowledge and awareness of parents in instilling children’s worship education in Kampung Baru Village, Medan Maimun District. The contribution of this research is to provide advice to parents and children how important it is to instill worship education to children, namely by telling the importance of prayer, reading the Qur’an and fasting in the month of Ramadan.

Abstract

This article is based on the Community Partnership Program (PKM) which seeks to improve the ability to recognize colors in early childhood. The ability to recognize colors is an aspect of cognitive abilities. Early childhood color recognition can stimulate vision in the brain Color can also induce visual sensitivity. This happens because the color of the object is directly or indirectly exposed to sunlight and visible to the eye. The learning strategy aims to make learning can be achieved well, one of which is the Edutainment strategy that can be used in early childhood learning. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability to recognize colors that will be given to TK-Al Hidayah students and provide an interesting approach method. The method used is observation, interviews and lectures. Based on the results of the application of the edutainment learning method, it can be concluded that the program can provide learning and knowledge to children about basic colors, the edutainment method can make it easier for children to understand the material, the edutainment method can also provide a new learning atmosphere for Al Hidayah Kindergarten children and can be used as recommendations for improving learning methods. It is hoped that this research can provide experience and lessons for the author, especially in education. The author hopes that further practice can develop this research more broadly with different methods.

Abstract

The global covid-19 pandemic has had far-reaching effects on education as well. Whole education, including early childhood education, makes it impossible to engage in face-to-face teaching, so an innovation of learning systems is needed to hold it. Contrary to current circumstances, some schools already carry out face-to-face learning but with strict health protocols. So RA Hibah has carried out face-to-face study with health protocol. Thus, the study is carried out with a view to discovering the innovation of the different learning systems that RA Hibah made during the pandemic, since the pandemic is not over and so the study is carried out according to conditions. Research methods use qualitative research methods, with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and literature studies. Observations and interviews have found that innovation in learning systems during pandemics in RA Hibah, which is online learning, rolling learning, and offline learning.

Abstract

Early childhood development needs to be considered properly, especially cognitive development. However, there are still many parents who are less sensitive to this. Therefore, the authors conducted a study to determine the level of parental concern for the cognitive development of children who were analyzed based on parenting patterns. The research method used a survey method with a sample of 20 parents and 20 teenagers. The results show that there are 45% of parents who choose authoritative parenting and 45% of adolescents who get authoritative parenting from their parents. With this figure, parenting is very influential on children's cognitive development, some of the effects are 50% of people are easy to interact socially, 75% of people are easy to catch life's problems, 55% of people are difficult to find solutions to their problems, 60% are able to understand the concept of value/ love even though it is still difficult, and 65% feel a little involved in the learning process. The author advises readers to always apply authoritative parenting because it is included in the ideal parenting pattern.

Abstract

Changes in the learning process during the pandemic from classroom learning to online learning certainly cannot be separated from the role of gadgets, but for early childhood the online learning process using gadgets needs to get supervision from parents to minimize negative impacts. This study aims to explore the way parents monitor the use of gadgets during the Covid-19 pandemic in early childhood aged 4-6 years at Aisyiyah Kindergarten Bustanul Athfal 6 Pontianak City. This research is a qualitative research. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews and Focus Group Discussions. Participants in this study consisted of 10 mothers who had early childhood. There are 4 themes found in this study, namely 1) managing the time of using gadgets, 2) limiting access, 3) giving passwords to gadgets and 4) giving rewards and punishments. This study concludes that to reduce the negative impact and addiction to gadgets, parental supervision is needed in the use of gadgets.

Abstract

The lack of teacher ability in using the method causes children to have difficulty remembering the hadith that has been taught. The author conducted classroom action research (CAR) introducing hadith through the hand movement method carried out at RA Ar-Rohmah Serang City on 7 children’s. CAR was carried out in 2 cycles using the Kemmis and MC Taggart models and was descriptive qualitative. The results of the CAR carried out obtained 66,07% in cycle 1 with the criteria of Developing According to Expectations (DAE) and in the second cycle it rose to 86,16% with the criteria of Very Good Development (VGD), thus the hand movement method can improve children’s ability to recognize hadith.
