Jurnal Bahana Manajemen Pendidikan (JBMP) is a scientific journal in the field of Management and Education. This journal is published twice editions published a year. JBMP published by Educational Adminstration, Faculty of Educational Science at Padang State University collaboration with Ikatan Sarjana Administrasi Pendidikan (ISMAPI) , in print and online with (ISSN: 2614-6576, e-ISSN: 2614-6967 ). The aim of this journal is to publish articles dedicated to all aspects of the latest outstanding developments in the fields of educational management in all settings. The scope of this journal encompasses educational planning, educational management, educational supervision, human resource management, organizational communication, public relations, leadership, education, and teaching and learning.; Education (teaching, development, instruction, educational projects and innovations, learning methodologies and new technologies in education and learning, assessment). It was first published in 2013.

Abstract

Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana upaya kepala sekolah meningkatkan pelaksanaan tugas guru dalam pembelajaran di SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. Metode penulisan menggunakan metode library research. Peningkatan tugas mengajar guru  di kelas dapat dilakukan melalui supervisi pengajaran dan pelatihan guru. Supervisi dan pelatihan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas mengajar guru di kelas, dengan adanya supervisi dan pelatihan diharapkan guru dapat meningkatkan mutu dan kinerjanya dalam proses pembelajaran. Pelaksanaan supervisi kunjungan kelas yang dilaksanakan oleh Kepala Sekolah dapat dijadikan acuan bagi guru untuk mengadakan perbaikan dan peningkatan mutu proses pembelajaran sehingga berpengaruh besar pada peningkatan hasil belajar sesuai dengan standar kelulusan dan pada gilirannya nanti dapat meningkatkan mutu pendidikan.

Abstract

Teacher Competencies are  a set of  professional standards which should be owned and developed by  a teacher. Teacher has to maintain high standards of personal and professional integrity when carrying out all duties and responsibilities. In order to create an efective and a good performance in teaching, teacher has to have skills and master in teaching competencies. Because the competencies really influence teacher’s success in teaching.  As a challenge in globalization, the role and the responsibility of teacher in the future will be more complex. So, the teachers really should increase their competencies mastery. To upgrade the teacher’s competencies are really needed an education training. In this writing,  will more focus on the increase of English Teacher’s Competence in SMP N 10 Padang especially for English Teachers. The appropriate education trainings are school internal training, In House Training, Miter School Training, Graduate Training System, and Distance Learning. Abstract

This research aimed to see work motivation, work environment and relationship between work environment with work motivation in Bagian Sekretariat Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Provinsi Sumatera Barat. The population are all of employees in Bagian Sekretariat Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Provinsi Sumatera Barat amount to 68 people and the samples are 40 people that determined based on Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique. Instrument used was a questionnaire were formulated based on likert scale and analyzed by Product Moment correlation. The results are significant relationship between work environment with work motivation in Bagian Sekretariat Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Provinsi Sumatera Barat. The population is 101 teachers and the sample is 51 people that taken by stratified random sampling. The instrument of this research is question with Likert scale models that had tested for validity and realibility. Data analyzed using mean score and performance level. Abstract

The goal of this research are to see information about the theacher’s perception toward implementation of managerial competency of headmasters. The population is 169 teacher’s and the sample is 43 people that taken by simply random sampling. The instrument of this research is question with Likert scale models  that had tested for validity and reliability. Data analyzed using mean score. The result of this research are the teachers perception about implementation managerial competency of headmasters in SMP Negeri Kecamatan Pasaman Kabupaten Pasaman Barat stay in good category. The population is 37 people from School Committee and the sample is 37 people that taken by research population. Abstract

The goal of the research is to collect information about the actuating of public relations in private Senior vocational schools. The population of the research is all of principals, vice principals teachers, employees andmembers of student body at schools.The sample is 77 people, taken by disproportionate stratified random sampling technique. The instrument of the research is question with Likert scale models that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analyzed using persenatation score and performance level. The result of this research show that the public relations in private SMK is not good. Key word : Public Relations

Abstract

This study examines thetieswork motivation with employee commitment. The hypothesis of this study were (i) there is a significant relationship between motivation and employee commitment to the level of 95%, (ii) there is no significant relationship between motivation and employee commitment to the level of  95% . Methods of data collection using questionnaires orquestionnaires. The subjects in this study were employees of a company located in Padang. The data obtained, and then analyzed using product moment correlation analysis method. The results of the study proved that there is a significant relationship between work motivation and employee commitment, which work motivation are positively correlated with work commitments.
