Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

AbstractThis Article aims to1) to find out the reasons which cause the difference of students’ motivation in the knowledge and skill of learning dance, 2)  to find out the impacts of the motivation difference toward the dance learning  outcomes at class X Tari 1 of SMKN 7 Padang. The design of the research was qualitative using the descriptive analysis method. The primary instrument was the researcher herself while the secondary oneh were stationaries and a camera. There were two types of data in this research: primary and secondary data. They were obtained from library study, observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed qualitatively by observing the symptoms coming from the students’ motivation toward their knowledge and skills in learning dance. The research result shows that there are some differences of the students’ motivation related to the knowledge and skill in learning dance. There was only 1 out of 25 students who had balnce between the knowledge and skills. Meanwhile, 2 of them got higher score for their knowledge rather than their skills with a low range between them. Others tended to have low knowledge and high skills in learning dance. It happens since they alredy own the skills them selves.Keywords: Student Motivation, Dance Learning

Abstract

This article aimed to describe the preservation of the art by Manggih Mudo Group in Manggis Ganting Sub-District, Mandiangin District / Koto Selayan, Bukittinggi which is still used and exists in Bukittinggi. This was a qualitative research which used descriptive method. The data collection was done by doing observation, interview, and literature study. The object of this research was Randai that was in Manggih Mudo Group, Manggis Ganting Sub-district, Bukittinggi. The results of this research showed that Manggih Mudo Group performed the preservation of Randai by inviting the government to participate in the preservation of Randai in Manggis Gantiang Sub-district. The city government provided financial support to Manggih Mudo Group as a contribution to the preservation of Randai. The government also involved Manggih Mudo Group in the events or the activities held by the government. For example, in 2015, the government invited the Manggih Mudo Group in the art exhibition held in RRI building. Then Manggih Mudo Group was also invited in Semarak Lima event held at the Jam Gadang festival. Manggih Mudo Group also performed the preservation by inheriting Randai to younger generations; it provided routine exercises done around the Mr. Yazirwan’s house, which aimed to introduce Randai to the younger generations. Maintaining the existence of Manggih Mudo Group was also an effort to preserve Randai. Randai was actively performed either in Manggis Ganting Sub-district or outside Manggis Ganting Sub-district. For example, it was performed in wedding receptions and to welcome guests from a company. Keywords: Conservation, equality, Group Encounter

Abstract

AbstractThis research is classified into qualitative study which was conducted by using descriptive method. The primary has been gotten from the sources by observasing and interviewing them. The secondary data has been gotten from the documented data, documents and books, which are relevant with the research. After the data was collected, the researcher analysed the data by using data reduction, the presentation of data, and verification and conclusion. Based on the research findings, it was found that the factors impeding the development of “Zapin Melayu” Dance were derived from both the internal and external factors. The internal factor is closely related to the community in which the dance is developed. The rapid change of information nowadays has brought people to a new culture. Thus, the gradually  leave behind what they used to value as “tradition” and embrace modernity. People are not so much into learning the traditional dances anymore such as the Melayu Zapin dane. The external factors are related to the infiltration of the foreign cultures that increasingly push aside the local ones.Keywords: Obstacle Factor, Development, Dance Zapin Melayu

Abstract

This article aimed to analyze Dallideu song from the perspective of musicology.This was a qualitative research which used content analysis approach. The theory of Analysis, theory of Elements of Music, and theory of literature were used to analyze the data. The technique of data collection was begun by doing Observation, Library Studies, Interview, Labor Work (Analyzing Process) and Documentation. The result of analysis showed that Dallideu song was a song originated from oral literature (Kunaung) of Sungaipenuh community which was recorded to crystallize the old culture in the form of a song. The creation of Dallideu coincided with the birth of Dallideu Kunaung. The Dallideu song uses the major diatonic scale C = do, has 106 bars with a 4/4 beat and has a tempo of 110. The Dallideu song belongs to the 3-part A A 'B C song with the phrases a, a', c, c ', e, e '(antecedents) and the phrases b, b', d (consequences). It consists of 15 motifs (a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k, l, m, n, o). There are main chords (I, IV, V) and one assist chord (VII) during its chords’ develoment. Dallideu song has one kind of kadens (the perfect authentic kadens). It consists of nine phrases (a, a ', b, b', c, c ', d, e, e'). The relationship between the rhyme and melody in Dallideu song has a syllabic and melismatic form or it concerns more neither to the rhyme (logogenic) nor to the melody (melogenic).In association with the development of melody, interval, motif and rhythm of the song, the true meaning of Dallideu song is to provide a description or information from the community to the community, resembling the values contained in the song that tell thoughts and good values for the further community life. Keywords : Musicological, Analysis, Dallideu

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims to find out and describe the implementation of music ensamble learning at class of XI IPS 2 at SMAN 1 Padang Sago. The design of the research was qualitative using descriptive data analysis. The primary instrument was the research himself while the secondary ones were student’ observation sheets and lesson plans. Data were obtained from library study, interview, and documentation. The objects were 24 students of class XI IPS 2 of the school. The research result shows that the learning process runs well and is based on the syllabus as well lessons plans. The students were required to be able perform the song Cinta Untuk Mama* within a group. The lessons plans were design for 4 meetings. Each meeting included materials for the students by applying the lecturing, demonstration, and exercise methods. The students were divided into three groups. One of them was pointed as the conductor. At the final meeting, the students were able to perform the song in a harmonious tempo and dynamics written in the song’s patition.Keywords: Learning Implementation, Music Ensamble

Abstract

This article aims to determine the improvement of learning outcomes by using the media powerpoint in learning art and culture (music) class VIII in SMP N 31 Padang. The type of research is experimental or experimental research belonging to quantitative research groups in the form of data numbers. Instrument research in the form of pretest, final test (postest), and instrument of observation record. The results of this study indicate that the learning of art and culture (music) in class VIII SMP N 31 Padang done in 4x meeting runs well. It is seen that the use of powerpoint media on music art learning in the class VIII SMP N 31 Padang with the material understand the technique of playing traditional musical instruments in groups. This has a good impact on student learning outcomes in class VIII 3. Improvement of the average score of student learning outcomes before using visual media in the form of powerpoint of 74.53 increased to 88.28 after using visual media in the form of powerpoint. In addition, the visual media in the form of powerpoint can increase the students' curiosity, so as to generate a high sense of enthusiasm and enthusiasm in the learning process, and create an increasingly interesting learning atmosphere that is not boring for students, the media powerpoint can also create a more effective learning process, interactive And efisisen. Abstract

AbstractThis article the aim  to describe students’ learning outcome in learning dance at grade XI IPS 2 of SMA 1 Pulau Punjung. It was assumed that using conventional teaching method led to low outcome of students’ result. The design of this study was classroom action research by using descriptive method to describe the action and the reaction which occurred in the field. The data were attained by using observation sheet and test for students who learnt by using cooperative learning method. The test included students’ ability in using body, sense, and rhythm with indicators of motion accuracy, movement memorization, expression in dance and precision of musical accompaniment and movement. The data were analyzed by using percentage formula, discussion and conclusion. The result showed that the implementation of cooperative learning method was able to improve students’ learning outcome. In cycle I the average score was 61.29% and in cycle II the average score was 82.59%. Therefore, cooperative learning method can be used to improve students’ learning outcome in learning dance at SMAN 1 Pulau Punjung.Keywords: Learning outcomes, Method, Dance

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of extracurricular drumband in SMA Negeri 1 Padang Ganting. The research method used qualitative research type with descriptive-analysis approach. Technique of collecting research data with observation, interview, and literature study. While data analysis is done by collecting primary data and secondary data. The result of the research shows that the implementation of the drumband extracurricular in SMA Negeri 1 Padang Ganting is in various problems, especially from the less trainer side, the boring material, the undisciplined students, the limited facilities, and no estuary of the drumband activities that cause students, And the drumband organization SMA Negeri 1 Padang Ganting can perform again. Keywords: Extracurricular Drumband

Abstract

AbstractThis article the aim to investigate the effect of implementing Learning Start with Question (LSQ) type of Active Learning model toward students’ learning outcome in learning Dance at SMA Negeri 14 Padang in academic year 2016-2017. This study was experimental research with the static group comparison design. The population of this study was 255 XI grade students of SMA Negeri 14 Padang registered in academic year 2016-2017. The sample was determined by using purposive sampling technique in which XI IPS3 was chosen as experimental class and XI IPS 1 was as control class. There were 32 students of each class. The instrument used was cognitive test. The result showed that there was significant difference between the implementation of Learning Start with Question and that of conventional method. The average score of experimental class (83.03) was higher than that of control class (76.78). It can be seen that tcount was 4.31 and ttable was 1.67. This result meant the hypothesis was accepted. Therefore, there was better effect of implementing Learning Start with Question than that of conventional method.Keywords: Influence, Learning Model, Learning outcomes.
