Abstract

The purpose of this research is improve student creativity of fine art major with using Peer Tutoring strategy grade VII-2 SMP Negei 3 Padang. The kind of this researchis is classroom action  research which using Peer Tutoring strategy to grade VII-2 SMP Negeri 3 Padang. This researchimplemented in two cycles. Data collection tool used teacher observation sheet, student observation sheet and the format for evaluating student creativity. Data processed by using  percentage formula . The result of data processed show that there is increase of learning outcomes. Learning outcome in cycle I is 74,6 and cycle II incre ase until 91,6. The acquisition of learningoutcomes showed the significant increase. It can conclude that the using of Peer Tutoring strategy can increase student creativity.Keywords: Learning, Peer Tutoring, Creativity

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the shape, function and meaning of sculpture lament the capital of West Sumatra Payakumbuh. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Sources of data in this study is the statue of Mother expectancy (primary data) and informants, and literature (secondary data). Data collection procedures done through observation, interviews, and documentation. Abstract

ning outcomes of students in the learning Arts Arts in SMA N 1 2x11 WoodPlant Padang Pariaman . The hypothesis tested in this study is the result of the teaching and learning of Fine Arts students are taught with the use of media images ( experimental class ) differ significantly with learning outcomes Arts students are taught without the use of media images ( grade control ) . The population in this study were all students who take Arts subjects . The sample is majoring in social studies class XI students who take Arts subjects . Engineering pengampilan sample is purposive sampling . This type of research is a quasiexperiment ( Quasi Experiment ) with a pretest - posttest study design Control Group Design . Data were collected by achievement test . Data were analyzed by t test .The findings in this study indicate that : student learning outcomes by using media images better , when compared with students who are taught without the use of media images . Based on the above research findings , it can be concluded that the use of media images influence on student learning outcomes in Arts subjects . Therefore the use of media images in learning is needed by every educator to improve student learning outcomes , especially in subjects Culture ArtKata kunci : Pengaruh, Media Gambar, Hasil Belajar,Seni Rupa

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to improve the students’ learning outcomes at grade X 1 of MA Shine Al-Falah Padang in learning sklill through the application of learning model of Project Based Learning. The research method used is classroom action  esearch. The procedure of the researvh shaped of a cycle which consisting of three stages: planning, action/observastion, and reflection. The result showed that the  earning of project Based Learning in sklill material can improve the students’  earning outcomes above the minimum mastery criteria. This is evidenceinthe first cycle with an average value 73,5 to 82,5 in the second cycle.Keywords: Students’ Learning Outcomes, Project Based Learning,Learning Sklills

Abstract

The purposes of this study was to find out (1) the relationship between teacher learning strategies and student learning outcomes in Cultural Arts subjects at the Middle School Development of the UNP Padang Laboratory. (2) Relationship between student activity and student learning outcomes in Cultural Arts subjects at the Middle School Development of the UNP Padang Laboratory. (3) Relationship between teacher learning strategies and activeness of students with student learning outcomes in Cultural Arts subjects at the Middle School Development of the UNP Padang Laboratory. The method of this research is correlational descriptive research. Data is collected using a document format used for student learning outcomes, then questionnaires to collect data about teacher learning strategies and student activity. The results of the study are that there is a significant relationship between teacher learning strategies and learning outcomes of 14.82%, there is a significant relationship of student activity with student learning outcomes of 95.45%, there is a significant relationship between learning strategies and student activity with learning outcomes of 95 , 84% at 95% confidence level.Keywords: Learning Strategy, Activity, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study were to (1) describe about form motif which there is on batik Tebo, (2) describe about composition motif which there is on batik Tebo, (3) describe about meaning motif which be contained on motif batik Tebo. The data of this study is the motif Tebo. The data source of this research is primary data and secondary data were spoken directly by informants as the original speakers. Data collected by the data collection techniques used were observation (observation), interviews and documentary study. The findings of the study are five Tebo batik motifs rebung nyengum, bambu runcing, bungo muko macan, serat kayu rengas and sialang rajo. Kata kunci: Motif, Bentuk, Komposisi, Makna Batik,Tebo

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to visualize the unique behavior of eagle's life as a guide and motivation in human life through contemporary painting. Eagle as an ideas in this article as a medium of information to the public to be able to admire eagles so eager to maintain their habitat. This method in realizing ideas of art include: preparation, elaboration stage, synthesis, concept realization and completion. This work describes the behavior of eagles in the wild. As a result of the discussion and stages creation of ten (10) works that gives more motivation, information, as well as learning to make human character in life and theirs life.Kata kunci: Burung Elang, Seni Lukis Kontemporer

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to (1) describe the form of wood carving ornament that used at Mimbar and Maqsurah of Bingkudu Mosque, (2) describe the meaning and the grounded meaning of wood carving ornament that used at Mimbar and Maqsurah of Bingkudu Mosque. The Bingkudu Mosque is the ancient Mosque was builded about the end of 19 centuries in V Suku Canduang Minangkabau. That Mimbar and Maqsurah based on observasion have some unique carving form liked Netherland flag form, chaligraphy, and traditional carving with red and gold color. They were assumed have the meaning related to tradistional culture, religism, history, and colonial period and more how the implicated of “adat basandi syarak, syarak basandi kitabullah” especially in carving as society’s works of art. The primary source of data were oral untterances uttered by native speaker informants and some literatures or books. Data were collected by using observation methods, field note as advanced techniques, and photos. The process called as snow balling to get the holistic data. The finding of the study showed that the form, meaning, and grounded meaning of the carving have some relationship meaning with the function of Surau, Islamic religion, Minangkabau culture, the fungtioned of three commader symbol in Minangkabau and colonial perioded in Minangkabau, and ensure that between islamic religion and traditional culture of Minangkabau were had a single vission.Key words: Mosque, Carving, Mimbar and Maqsurah, culture, Minangkabau, form, meaning and grounded meaning

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the learning outcomes of students which teach with tutorial video and without tutorial video. Whether students with high prior knowledge or low prior knowledge  the result of this research showed that the post-test value “ Seni Rupa “ skill and knowledge  eksperiment class and control class 78.33, 74,67 and 87.33, 73.00 value of t-count 5.047 >   t-table, there is influence of using tutorial video and prior knowledge to the result of learning “ Seni  Rupa “Keywors : tutorial video and Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This work aims to create a peacock shape into batik artwork that uses batik techniques with the  main material mori cloth or white cloth by making words using batik canting. The canting tool is  useful as transferring the wax that has been heated to the mori cloth by using remazhol color in the process of giving color to the white cloth. The method of creating this final work uses five stages,namely the stages of preparation, elaboration, synthesis, realization of concepts and completion. The work produced in the form of batik artwork that serves as a wall decoration.The number of works achieved is 10 works of batik paintingwith the title: Prestige, Prestige  Resistance, Seduction, Beautiful, Flick, Move Place, Different, The Other Side, Graceful, and Attract The Attention Of Women. It is hoped that  appreciation material and accompanying work in creating a better batik artwork for the future.Key Words: Peacock, Batik
