This study aims to determine efforts to improve learning outcomes of biology students through flipped learning model assisted by Google Classroom on metabolic material at SMA Negeri 1 Cikarang Barat. The research subjects were all students of class XII IPA 4 at this school, total 36 students. Samples were taken by simple random. The average score of students before being treated was 64.86, and then learning outcomes increased to 74.86 in the first cycle, 80 in the second cycle, and 87.50 in the third cycle. The number of students who scored 78 increased in every cycle, namely: 50% in cycle I; 61.11% in cycle II; and 86.11 in cycle III. We conclude that our model can improve learning outcome of our students.

Raising of science and technology in education often used in learning process, one of which is the use of interactive multimedia. The development of maritime-oriented interactive multimedia is carried out to improve student understanding and increase learning outcomes, and also to increase number of existing instructional media. This study aims to develop interactive multimedia based on Articulate Storyline on Plantae topic maritime oriented for class X students in Senior High School. Development model uses Plomp (2013). This model has three stages; 1) preliminary research, 2) development or prototyping phase, and 3) assessment phase. The data collection technique were a questionnaire, test instrument, and interview. Based on research result, the overall validation results are 87.65% with a very valid category. The level of practicality in interactive multimedia based on teacher and student assessments obtained an overall score of 91.15%, very practical. The product is proven to improve student learning outcomes, seen from the results of the pre-test and post-test through N-gain test, which obtained a value of 0.77 with an increase in the effectiveness of the high category. The results of the N-gain score showed an increase from before to after learning with. It can be concluded that interactive multimedia based on Articulate Storyline on Plantae topic maritime oriented can be used in the learning of biology.

Students are required to be capable of 21st Century Skills in biology learning. One of the demands is metacognitive ability and higher order thinking skills. This study aimed to determine the effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) on metacognitive abilities and high-order thinking skills of high school students in biology learning, by studying literature with narrative review. The data is presented in a table listing scientific articles which were analyzed descriptively into research data. Based on the analysis, it is known that PBL has an effect on students' metacognitive and higher order thinking abilities. With PBL, students are helped to improve their metacognitive abilities so that they can think to solve problems. The stages in PBL are related to aspects of higher order thinking skills. This shows that PBL affects students' metacognitive and higher order thinking abilities.

Species of Poaceae may be used as mastering objects, based on local potential, as learning resources, thats in accordance with technological developments, making it into 3D pageflip based pocket book. A valid pocket book, as learning resources, can be defined if it has been validated by experts in field. Validation role to assess the prototype, and eligible for more developmental phases. The aim of this research is to determine the validity of the pocket book, which contains material about Poaceae species in galam vegetated swamps. This pocket book is in the form of a 3D pageflip. This development uses Tessmer's formative evaluation model. The value of validity is determined by 2 experts. The results of the study confirm that the product that has been developed is very valid, especially for expert consequences of 93.42%.

E-handout is teaching material that are displayed electronically. One of the software used for e-handout development is Flipbook Maker. Mentioning the development of information technology, plus the proliferation of distance education, then the development of e-handout is one of the most appropriate choices. Moreover, its development is accompanied by Science Process Skills, so this development is carried out. This development research consists of 4 stages; define, design, develop and disseminate. This article contains research results in the form of values and descriptions of practicality test results. The research subjects were 9 practitioners from the State High School 8 Banjarmasin. The results of the study show that the e-handout is practical in the display aspect (score 88.88%), practical in the presentation aspect (88.00%), and practical also in the benefit aspect (88.21%). In conclusion, a product that is practically in line with expectations has been produced.

Rivers are the main habitat for fish groups, including Seluang fish of the genus Rasbora. Existence of these fish become a potential content for local potential-based biology teaching materials. Teaching materials with this content can be enriched. One form of supplementary teaching materials that can be developed based on local potential is a pocket book. This development uses Borg & Gall method. The results showed three types of fish, namely Rasbora argyrotaenia (Seluang Langkai), Rasbora tornieri (Seluang Kuning), and Rasbora dusonensis (Seluang Batang). Based on the pocket book validity test, it was declared very valid, with a value of 91.93%, dan the results of readability test by 6 students obtained 91.40%, pocket book has very good criteria.

The material for the human digestive system is difficult for students to understand, so it requires media that can clarify the material. Limited instructional media at SMAN 1 Tanjung Mutiara has not supported learning on the material. The solution to this problem is to create interactive instructional media. This study aims to identify the needs of students for interactive learning media that developed by Macromedia Flash about human digestive system in senior high school. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The way to collect data was done trhough distributing questionnaires to students and interviewing one biology teacher. The result revealed that students had difficulty in understanding biology, about the human digestive system material. Because the teaching material were less attractive, the material was too complicated, too many terms were difficult, and they assumed that this material was abstract. Therefore, we need an interactive learning media that is able to help students to understand the learning material.

This research is development research, which aimed to create module of circulatory system disorder based on anti-cholesterol activity tests of Sawi Dayak - Elephantopus mollis. The data analysis use Content Validation Index (CVI) and Content Validation Rate (CVR) refers to Lawshe's method. The development of this module is in two stages: creation and validation of the module. Validator was selected based on a purposive sampling that involve two biology education experts of Universitas Tanjungpura, and three biology teachers. Presentation, graphic, content, and language aspects were evaluated, total 24 criterias. Based on the results data analysis, CVI was 0.99 in the valid category and all criteria CVR was 0.99. It was concluded that the product is suitable as teaching material for the circulatory system disorder sub-material for senior high school.
