This type of research used a cross-sectional study design. The number of samples needed is 86 people with the sampling technique used is simple random sampling using the Chi_Square test. Based on bivariate analysis, variable family support p = 0.021 and self-management behavior p = 0.006 proved to be associated with stress levels of dieting in people with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Nambangan Lor Village, Manguharjo District, Madiun City. The results showed that most of the type 2 DM sufferers had poor family support as many as 50 people, had good self-management behavior as many as 46 people, and most had moderate stress levels as many as 33 people. The research method used was analytic survey research design and cross sectional approach. The number of samples is 40 people. Sampling using a support questionnaire. The results of the analysis of the relationship between the two variables above by using the chi-square statistical test obtained the significance of the relationship between the two variables is p = 0.000, p = 0.000 <α 0.05, this means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, so there is a relationship. husband's support with the incidence of post partum blues in urban areas. Suggestion Can provide health education and education to postpartum mothers by presenting a husband as a companion to the mother so that the risk of post partum blues can be better prevented.

Preeclampsia is a disease characterized by hypertension, proteinuria and edema that occurs during pregnancy. or up to 48 hours postpartum. This study aims to determine the frequency of ANC examinations with preeclamptic. The research method used was analytic survey research design with a cross sectional approach. Data collection techniques. Data collection in this study used a questionnaire sheet. The technique used in this study was purposive sampling. The data analysis used was univariate and bivariate analysis and the statistical test used was Chi Square. The significance of the relationship between the two variables is p = 0.000, p = 0.002 <α 0.05, this means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, so there is a relationship between the frequency of ANC examinations and preeclamptic

Abstract

Indonesia is estimated to produce as much as 64 million tons of waste every year. This figure is very high because only 7 percent of the total destruction has been managed. Kudus Regency has a policy on waste management, but most people in Kudus Regency do not yet know the policy. This study aims to determine the implementation of waste management policies in Kudus Regency. This type of research is qualitative research, with four informants. The research instrument used an interview guide, a recording device, and a camera. The analysis method uses a thematic content analysis. Based on the results of the research, it is known that the local government has not carried out mass socialization of waste management policies to the community so that many people from various groups do not know this regulation. The implementation of waste management in the Kudus Regency is also constrained by a limited budget and waste processing equipment. In also besides, monitoring and evaluation activities are also only a formality because there is no follow-up to the monitoring and evaluation activities every year.

This study aims to determine effect of drink rice bran much as 30 g to HDL and LDL levels of obese students several elementary schools in Makassar. The number of samples needed was 60 obese elementary school students with research design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The results showed that the characteristics of the respondents indicated that the value was not significant between control and intervention groups. For energy intake in control group increased significantly (p = 0.061), while the intervention group experienced an increase, although not significantly (p = 0.256). Fiber intake, cholesterol, carbohydrates and fat increased in both groups but not significantly. For LDL levels in the intervention group (p = 0.000) and control group (p = 0.021) decreased significantly. while for HDL levels there was a significant increased in the intervention group (p = 0.014) and significant decreased in control group (p = 0.102). It is concluded that the provision of rice bran based drinks has an effect on reducing LDL levels and increasing HDL in obese students

Abstract

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a global public health problem with the prevalence and incidence of increased renal failure. Approximately 1 in 10 global populations suffers from chronic renal failure at a particular stage. There are several risk factors that are suspected to increase the incidence of Chronic Kidney Disease, one of which is Diabetes Mellitus. This study aims to determine the relationship between diabetes mellitus and chronic kidney disease in the Panti Nirmala Hospital. Research design is case-control. The sample amounted to 286 respondents, consisting of 143 case groups and 143 control groups. Data analysis using logistic regression analysis. The results of multivariable analyses showed that there are two confounding variables in the relationship of diabetes mellitus with CKD i.e. gender and age. In addition, diabetes mellitus also interacts with hypertension. Diabetes mellitus interacts with hypertension to increase the risk of CKD (OR=15.9; 95% CI 4.4 to 57.4; p=<0.001). After controlled by gender and age, Hypertension or a history of Hypertension, respondents with Diabetes Mellitus were 15.9 times more likely to have Chronic Kidney Disease than non-Diabetes Mellitus respondents.

Abstract

Hypertension, commonly referred to as high blood pressure, is a global health problem in Indonesia because of its high prevalence, although it varies in different countries. In Indonesia, hypertension is found in 83 per 1000 household members. The majority of high blood pressure increases with the presence of risk factors such as; Age, lack of exercise / physical activity, genetic factors and family history, body weight/obesity, sodium intake, alcohol consumption, smoking, stress. This study is a descriptive design using an observational approach to describe the characteristics of the risk factors for the Body Mass Index (BMI) and the gender of hypertension patients at Ibnu Sina Hospital for November 2018. The sampling technique used the total sampling technique with a complete sample size of 26 people. The results showed that the gender characteristics of hypertension sufferers showed that the number of female patients (16 people) was more than that of male patients (10 people). And the attributes of BMI in patients with hypertension found that the number of patients with normal nutritional status (13 people) was the most compared to another nutritional status.
