Abstract

The purpose of this paper to determine the complex projective space  as a complex manifold is to calculate the cohomology of the coherent sheaves of . The research method in this paper is to construct an -dimensional complex projective space, namely  and then the n-dimensional complex projective space, namely , is a complex manifold. Abstract

The goal of learning mathematics in the 2013 curriculum require students to be able to use mathematical reasoning skills in solving problems. The fact in the field is that Junior High School number 21 Pekanbaru shows that student’s mathematical reasoning abilities are still in the low category. One of the causes of the low mathematical reasoning ability of students, the learning process carried out by the teacher, the process is contained in a device that has not been able to facilitate students 'mathematical reasoning abilities and the questions given to students are not related to students' daily lives. or not contextual. This study aims to produce a mathematics learning device design that is able to facilitate students' mathematical reasoning abilities in the SPLDV material. This research is a development research, using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The analysis was carried out in the form of performance and needs analysis, curriculum analysis, and analysis of learning device needs. At the design stage, designing mathematics learning tools using the contextual-based Connecting Organizing Reflecting Extending (CORE) model to facilitate students' mathematical reasoning abilities on SPLDV material, and in the development stage, learning tools that have been designed are validated by the validator team. The results of the data analysis of the validation of learning tools for the syllabus obtained a percentage of 93.75% with a very valid category, Learning Implementation Plan obtained a percentage of 93.45% with a very valid category, Student Worksheet obtained a percentage of 91.18% with a very valid category, Math reasoning ability test questions obtained a percentage of 90% with a very valid category.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the mathematical justification strategies of 7th grade male and female students in understanding the concept of geometry (triangles). This research was conducted at one school in Donggo, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Indonesia in odd semester. This type of research is qualitative. The subjects involved in this study consisted of 20 students and 1 male and 1 female student were selected based on their mathematical abilities. The results of this study show that the justification by male and female students is different. So that it has different levels and types of justifications. Justifications made by male students are included in level 4 and the type of justification is Own explanation with a strategy that tends to be used, namely providing illustrations; 2) Identifying facts; 3) Formulate a plan; 4) Expressing facts; 5) Draw conclusions based on the opresari conducted .. Abstract

<p><span style="text-align: justify;">The application of a new paradigm in the form of a learning model that is adopted from outside and adapted in schools requires students and teachers to change their teaching and learning behavior. Constructive interaction between students and their peers, students and teachers, student-teacher problems are very difficult to condition. This is due to conventional teaching which conditions students to passively receive knowledge. This is evident from student activities, students are reluctant to ask the teacher and their friends even though they are given encouragement and motivation. Smart students prefer to work alone and if they have difficulty directly asking the teacher without passing the results of their group discussions. Maximum results are expected to be achieved, if the application of the new paradigm of learning mathematics is more adapted to the natural way students learn mathematics, and is also more in accordance with the essence of developing mathematical thinking skills. Learning is sought to be more meaningful in local culture and in the learning process incorporating cultural systems and cultural values found in the community in the area where students are, therefore, the purpose of this study is to formulate and compile a mathematics learning model based on A'Bulo Sibatang culture in the classroom. V SD in Bulukumba Regency. This type of research is the development of A'Bulo Sibatang-based mathematics learning model through the development of learning models, tools and instruments in an effort to improve the character of students in mathematics learning by implementing local culture in learning. Based on the results of the research, it was found that the a'bulo sibatang-based learning model was valid and met the effective criteria and the level of practicality of the model was in the high category.</span></p><p> </p>

Abstract

This paper aims to determine the impact and learning outcomes of Mathematics Class IX students of SMP Negeri 6 Pekalongan in the 2020/2021 academic year on distance learning using Google Suite for Education (GSE). This paper is a best practice carried out in January-February in the even semester of the 2020/2021 school year. The object of this best practice is 32 students of class IXF at SMP Negeri 6 Pekalongan who were selected randomly (random sampling). The method used is descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation and documentation. The best practice results show that the use of Google Suite for Education (GSE) can have a positive impact on the mathematics learning process and improve mathematics learning outcomes for class IXF students of SMP Negeri 6 Pekalongan for the 2020/2021 school year. The positive impact is seen from students' activities being more closely monitored and students being active during the learning process and the results of student activity indicators exceeding the target of 70%. The results of learning mathematics are also good, it can be seen from the results of the daily assessment of 32 students, many students who do not complete only 2 people, classical completeness is 94% and the average value is 92. So the completeness value is very high and the average value is also very high.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan tujuan mendapatkan instrument soal HOTS yang valid dan layak digunakan. Instrument soal HOTS yang dikembangkan untuk tingkat sekolah menengah baik SMA/SMK. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan/dikenal dengan R&D  (research and development). Model yang digunakan R&D Borg & Gall. yang meliputi tahapan:  Studi Pendahuluan, Pengembangan produk, dan Uji Produk. Dari instrument soal yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria valid dan sangat valid pada masing-masing kategori. Dengan kata lain instrument soal HOTS yang dikembangkan dapat dinyatakan valid dan dapat digunakan.

Abstract

Data memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan. Ketika memiliki dua jenis data, maka hal menarik yang diketahui dalah peluang kedua jenis data tersebut dapat terjadi secara serentak/bersamaan. Hal ini berarti bahwa perlu dikonstruksi distribusi bivariatnya, baik fungsi peluang maupun fungsi distribusi (fungsi peluang kumulatif). Dalam mengkonstruksi distribusi bivariat, diperlukan distribusi marginal dari masing-masing data serta perlu diketahui sifat kebergantungannya. Adanya informasi mengenai kebergantungan pada data akan mempengaruhi teknik yang digunakan dalam mengkonstruksi distribusi bivariatnya. Jika data memiliki kebergantungan, maka mengkonstruksi distribusi bivariatnya dapat menggunakan Copula. Copula merupakan salah satu alat popular yang digunakan untuk mengkonstruksi distribusi bivariat maupun multivariat dengan implikasi kebergantungan. Namun, ketika data berasal dari distribusi marginal diskrit maka mengkonstruksi distribusi bivariat Copula secara langsung akan menghasilkan Copula C yang tidak unik sesuai dengan teorema Sklar. Akibatnya, akan menghasilkan interprestasi yang tidak jelas, terutama pada sifat kebergantungannya. Oleh sebab itu, perlu adanya teknik tertentu dalam mengkonstruksi distribusi bivariat Copula pada data marginal diskrit. Idenya, dengan mengkontinukan distribusi marginalnya melalui transformasi jitters. Hasil transformasi jitters inilah yang kemudian digunakan untuk mengkonstruksi distribusi bivariat Copula. Distribusi bivariat Copula pada data jitters sama dengan distribusi bivariat pada data aslinya karena data jitters mampu mempresentasikan data aslinya. Adapun Copula yang digunakan adalah Copula Clayton. Semua proses mengkonstruksi distribusi bivariat Copula Clayton pada data marginal diskrit dengan implikasi kebergantungan akan diilustrasikan melalui data simulasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model Think-Talk-Write (TTW) terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 12 Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian ini eksperimen semu yang menggunakan desain Posttest-Only Control Design. Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling, terpilih kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas VII A dan kelas kontrol yaitu kelas VII B. Kelas VII A diajar dengan model Think-Talk-Write (TTW) dan kelas VII B diajar dengan pembelajaran langsung. Hasil penelitian pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol menunjukkan bahwa, hasil penilaian tengah semester (PTS) dan nilai posttest kedua kelas berdistribusi normal dan mempunyai sebaran homogen. Hasil uji statistik menunjukan bahwa kegiatan belajar menggunakan model Think-Talk-Write (TTW) lebih efektif dibandingkan model pembelajaran langsung ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 12 Yogyakarta.

Abstract

One of the disasters can cause losses in various sectors and have an impact on people's lives is drought. Lombok Island is an area with a high risk of drought. The Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) describes meteorological drought using rainfall as the main parameter. The Normalized Differences Vegetation Index (NDVI) describes agricultural drought based on remote sensing. This research aims to determine the relationship between SPI using the reanalysis rainfall data Climate Hazards Group InfraRed Precipitation with Stations (CHIRPS) with observed rainfall (CH Obs) and NDVI at 22 rain observation stations on Lombok Island during the 2001 – 2018. The use method is to calculate the Pearson correlation and the significance of SPI with CH Obs and NDVI. The correlation between SPI with CH Obs and NDVI is positive and significant, respectively 0.31 and 0.21 with p-value <0.05. This illustrates that drought monitoring using reanalysis and remote sensing data can be done because it describes the actual drought in the study area. In addition, it can be concluded that the meteorological drought that occurred could have an impact on agricultural drought in the Lombok during 2001 - 2018.

Abstract

Mathematics is an important learning.The relationship of mathematics with the various fields of science, one of them is the  Islamic values must be known, especially by students in the learning process.In the learning process, an interesting module is needed based on the applicable curriculum. Mathematics Learning in Junior High School/Islamic Junior Schoolis a compulsory subject for mathematics education students at UIN Raden Intan Lampung.Therefore the Mathematics module in Junior High School/Islamic Junior Schoolintegrated with Islamic values is needed by students in the learning process. This research develops a mathematics module that integrates Islamic values which is equipped with materials, sample questions, and assignments. The purpose to be achieved in this research is to determine the feasibility of the module being developed and students’ responses to the module. The research and development model that is carried out in this research is by the ADDIE stages (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation).The stages of the model are planning, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating. The results showed that the developed module obtained an average score of 3.41 by a material expert, an average score of 3.57 by a media expert, and an average score of 3.49 by a religious expert.Based on the average score obtained, the developed module in criteria is very suitable and valid. After that the module is tested. In small and large scale trials carried out by giving questionnaires. The average result of the small-scale trial was 2.97 and the average of the large-scale trial was 3.28 with very interesting criteria
