AbstractThe purpose of this study aims to determine the problem solving ability and reasoning ability of students in understanding exponential and logarithms material. The type of research in this study is qualitative research. To express this ability used a mathematical ability test instrument and conduct interviews. The subjects of this study were 30 students of class X MIPA of SMA Negeri 7 Mallawa, which were then chosen by 1 person each for low, medium, and high ability levels. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics and interviews were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman models. The results showed that the problem solving ability of students with low ability was in the students' inability to understand the problem and the lack of understanding of the concept of logarithmic concepts and exponents, for students who were capable of being there were still improper completion steps. As for students who are highly capable have been able to identified the elements present in the problem, able to understand the problem and solved the given problem. Where as the mathematical reasoning ability of students with low ability is very lacking because they are unable to complete the answers and cannot write the characteristics of logarithms and exponents, while for students with medium and high ability the reasoning ability are quite well proven by their ability to place the characteristics of logarithms and exponents correctly and they are able to used the properties of exponents and logarithms in solving problems properly.problem solving ability, reasoning ability, logarithms exponential

The purpose of this research is to determine whether there are differences in the understanding of the concept of students who learn by applying the model Problem Based Learning with Group Investigation. This research in to the type of quasi-experimental design of non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group. The samples taken were class XI IPA 2 (experimental class I) and class XI IPA 3 (experimental class II). The instrument applied was a learning outcome test containing 5 items. Data analysis was calculated using analysis techniques: descriptive and inferential. The results of the descriptive data obtained mean scores of 44.81 pretest and 76.54 posttest for the experimental class I, while the experimental class II scored 47.54 pretest and 84.14 posttest. From the independent sample test, it was obtained a sign score: 0.000 at a significance level of 5%. This means that H0 is rejected, so it was decided that the level of conceptual understanding for the model is Problem Based Learning different from the level of concept understanding in the model Group Investigation.

This studied developed Android-based mobile learning with the Kumon method for Indefinite Integral material. This studied aims to produce a product in the form of android-based mobile learning which uses the Kumon method steps and test the level of validity and practicality to be used as a learning medium on indeterminate integral material. The research method used in this research is the Plomp method.The results of this development research was in the form of Android-based mobile learning with the Kumon method for indefinite integral material through validation test with an average presentation of 82% according to 8 validators and a practicality test with an average percentage of 67% according to 33 students SMA N 1 Bojong class XII IPA 1. From the results of this studied it can be concluded that Android-based mobile learning with the Kumon method for indefinite integral material meets the requirements with very valid and practical quality to be used as a learning medium that could be used with android in the learning process class in person or online independently on indefinite integral material.

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah khususnya dalam pelajaran matematika sangat diperlukan oleh siswa. Kenyataan di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa masih rendah. Upaya untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut salah satunya dengan menerapkan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) berbantuan Aplikasi Edmodo. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui efektif atau tidaknya penggunaan pendekatan Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) berbantuan aplikasi Edmodo terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada materi barisan dan deret aritmatika di kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Sindang. Jenis metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen, dengan uji normalitas dan uji t-satu sampel. Tempat pengujian dilakukan di SMK Negeri 1 Sindang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Cluster Random Sampling dengan cara pengundian, sehingga diperoleh sampel dari penelitian ini adalah kelas X TKJ 2. Setelah siswa melakukan proses pembelajaran dengan menerapkan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) berbantuan Aplikasi Edmodo diperoleh hasil belajar terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dengan skor maksimum 92 dan skor minimum 0 dengan rerata skor 53,83. Karena t hitung = 3,13 lebih besar dari t tabel = 1,69 maka tolak , artinya penggunaan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) berbantuan Aplikasi Edmodo efektif untuk mencapai target kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa pada materi barisan dan deret aritmatika. The ability to solve problems, especially in mathematics, is needed by students. The reality in the field shows that the students' mathematical problem solving abilities are still low. One of the efforts to overcome this problem is by applying the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach with the aid of Edmodo application. The research objective was to determine whether or not the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) approach was used with the aid of Edmodo application on problem-solving abilities in the arithmetic sequence and series material in class X SMK Negeri 1 Sindang. The type of research method used is the experimental method, with normality test and one-sample t-test. The test site was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Sindang. Sampling was done by using the Cluster Random Sampling technique by drawing, so that the sample from this study was class X TKJ 2. After the students carried out the learning process by applying the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach assisted by Edmodo application, the learning outcomes of students' mathematical problem solving abilities were obtained. with a maximum score of 92 and a minimum score of 0 with an average score of 53.83. Because t count = 3.13 is greater than t table = 1.69 then reject, meaning that the use of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach assisted by Edmodo application is effective in achieving the target of students' mathematical problem solving abilities in arithmetic sequences and series material.

This research aims to develop and produce a valid and practical online learning media to students' mathematical connection skills. Specific targets to be achieved in this research specifically to increase in the mathematical connection ability of students of the Wiralodara Indramayu University mathematics study program for the Secondary Education Mathematics Capita Selecta course. This goal is based on the problem that the learning media used during lectures is learning media that has not been developed by lecturers, preparing for the 4.0 revolution and online learning is one of the impacts of Covid-19. From these problems resulted in the low ability of students in mathematical connections of the Secondary Education Mathematics Capita Selecta course. This type of research is development research using the Plomp model which has four stages, (1) initial stage, (2) design stage, (3) realization and construction stage, and (4) testing, evaluation, and revision. Meanwhile, the device developed was the online learning media for the Secondary Education Mathematics Capita Selecta course. The development of learning media that has been compiled is then validated with validation sheet instruments by expert validators and the criteria are set until the criteria are valid. Limited trials with questionnaire sheet instrument student responses and lecturer responses in Secondary Education Mathematics Capita Selecta course to measure practicality. The data in this study were obtained through expert validation instrument sheets and questionnaires. To achieve valid and practical criteria, it is processed descriptively. The targeted output is to produce online learning media in mathematics education for learning secondary mathematics selective capita courses.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat hubungan antara ekonomi dan matematika dengan Islam. Dalam penelitian ini dijelaskan adanya kaitan antara fenomena yang ada yaitu covid 19 dengan bilangan matematika 19 dan agama islam dan ekonomi. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan analisis deskriptif dan studi literatur. Sedangkan metodlogi yang digunakan adalah metode Hahslm dan analisis komparasi. Dari hasil uji dalam penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa angka 19 merupakan tuhan ibadah yang dimana tuhan menciptakan sesuatu dengan dasar ibadah. Selain itu sesuai dengan rumus Hahslm 472319. Angka 19 ini berkaitan dengan covid 19 yang mengakibatkan perubahan tingkat ekonomi secara global. Perubahan tingkat ekonomi ini dapat dijelaskan dalam ilmu matematika untuk menentukan jumlah PDB. Tingkat ekonomi ini akan semakin membaik seiring berjalannya waktu dan ditemukannya vaksin dari pandemic covid 19.

Model regresi linier logistik dapat digunakan untuk menentukan peluang mahasiswa memperoleh indeks prestasi (IP) di bawah 3,00. Model regresi logistik biner juga bisa digunakan untuk menganalisa faktor-faktor internal dan faktor-faktor eksternal yang diduga mempengaruhi indeks prestasi (IP) mahasiswa. Faktor-faktor intenal berasal dari mahasiswanya sendiri, sedangkan faktor eksternal berasal dari lingkungan keluarga dan masyarakat. Populasi penelitian Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa perguruan tinggi yang ada di Pangkalpinang propinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cluster sampling berdasarkan pengelompokan tertentu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei terhadap mahasiswa-mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi yang ada di Pangkalpinang dengan menggunakan kuisioner. Kuisioner berisi variabel Y berupa indeks prestasi dan X berupa variabel-variabel bebas yaitu pendidikan ayah, pendidikan ibu,uang saku setiap bulan, motivasi, sikap mahasiswa, domisili, jenis kelamin dan waktu belajar. Berdasarkan variabel- variabel tersebut, semua faktor internal dan eksternal mempengaruhi indeks prestasi mahasiswa. Persentase faktor internal dan eksternal menunjukkan angka di atas 60% dan dari analisa juga diperoleh hasil penelitian bahwa sebesar 37,5% nilai IPK mahasiswa kurang dari 3,00

Pemahaman konsep merupakan hal dasar mempelajari matematika. Prinsip yang ada pada matematika dapat diterapkan jika konsep matematika dapat dipahami dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat pemahaman konsep matematika khususnya statistika melalui penggunaan instrument soal two tier test berbasis online.. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa pendidikan Bahasa Inggris semester IV dengan jumlah responden 75 mahasiswa. Hasil analisis data menggunakan two tier test diperoleh bahwa tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa pada indikator memahami sebesar 35%, miskonsepsi-1 sebesar 20,67%, miskonsepsi-2 sebesar 15%, dan tidak memahami sebesar 29,33%. Hasil lain menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep mahasiswa pada level comparing hanya sebesar 13,33% jauh lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan ketiga indikator lainnya yaitu interpreting, classifying, dan interferring.

Combinatoric ability allows the process of connecting several patterns and principles in formula discovery activities through generalizations to help students see the application of mathematics in real life. The model given can help in making broad rough estimates in developing their insights. The purpose of this study was to find out how combinatoric thinking skills are and whether combinatoric thinking skills contribute to mathematical statistics courses. This research belongs to the field of social sciences and can use this type of qualitative descriptive approach. The data were collected using a descriptive test which consisted of four items related to combinatoric problems. The data from the research results were processed using the SPSS program to get the contribution value of combinatoric thinking skills during the mid-test and final-test. with 23 students. The results of the analysis showed that the students' combinatoric thinking skills were quite good, where the mean and standard deviation were 71.27 and 6.09 during the middle exam and 72.00 and 5.88 at the time of the final exam. The problem that students have in combinatoric skills is the problem of mathematical modelling. The test results show that combinatoric thinking skills have a significant contribution to the mathematics-statistics course.

This paper aims to know the learning motivation of android-based mobile learning application usage as a medium of long distance learning (PJJ) for grade VII students SMPN 11 Pekalongan. This paper is implemented at SMPN 11 Pekalongan in grade VII E, VII F, and VII G students through whatsapp and google classroom. The method used in this paper is qualitative method which is descriptive analysis. The data collection is used open and closed questionnaires and interviews to students of grade VII E, VII, F, VII G SMPN 11 Pekalongan. Based on the questionnaires and the interviews conducted by researcher, it shows 86.5% of students have high learning motivation in PJJ, and the usage of android-based mobile learning applications also can be an alternative for students to study and to understand the learning materials well.
