Abstract

Persoalan pembangunan manusia Indonesia hari ini dari segi prestasi adalah kurangnya jumlah atlet yang berkompeten, dan lebih jauh lagi, kondisi tersebut juga berakibat terhadap minat anak-anak terhadap olahraga sehingga sudah pasti berdampak terhadap kesehatan mereka. Salah satu penyakit degenaratif yang menyerang anak-anak hari ini adalah obesitas, yang sebagian besar diakibatkan oleh kurangnya anak-anak bergerak dan mereka juga cenderung tidak aktif. Padahal jika anak-anak memiliki keterampilan gerak dasar, anak-anak akan lebih siap menghadapi tantangan gerak, dan mereka akan cenderung memiliki minat terhadap keolahragaan. Melihat kondisi di atas penting kiranya untuk melihat secara nyata kondisi keterampilan anak-anak tersebut terutama usia dini. Sehingga nantinya dapat memberikan gambaran ril penguasaan keterampilan gerak dasar anak-anak tersebut. Akan tetapi hingga kini belum ada standar tes pengukuran keterampilan gerak dasar bagi anak usia dini tersebut di Indonesia, dan sementara masih menggunakan Test Gross Motor Development-2 (TGMD-2). Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan maka didapatkan hasil penelitian bahwa Keterampilan Gerak Dasar siswa PAUD di Kota Padang untuk Lokomotor sebanyak 30 orang berada di atas rata-rata dan 43 orang berada di bawah rata-rata, lainnya 47 orang berada dalam kategori Sedang (rata-rata). Kemudian untuk Objek Kontrol sebanyak 17 orang berada di atas rata-rata, 44 orang berada di bawah rata-rata, dan lainnya sebanyak 59 orang berada dalam kategori Sedang (rata-rata). Selanjutnya, gabungan Lokomotor dan Objek Kontrol secara bersama-sama sebanyak 33 orang berada di atas rata-rata, 47 orang berada di bawah rata-rata, dan lainnya sebanyak 41 orang berada dalam kategori Sedang (rata-rata). Dengan demikian, diharapkan dengan adanya data ini, akan lebih mudah untuk mencari bibit atlet pada usia dini.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that the level of intelligence of cricket athletes in West Sumatra is unknown, in certain sports in the cricket branch, someone who has intelligence is still not enough, but must communicate with maturity and can send it in a positive direction. This study aims to describe the level of intelligence of cricket athletes in west sumatra seen and reviewed from self-awareness, self-motivation, motivation, empathy, and social skills. The type of this research is classified into descriptive research, with the total funds of all cricket athletes in west sumatra is 20 athletes. The technique used in this study is the total sampling technique with 20 sample whereas the data analysis used a percentage technique. The results of this study show and reveal that the emotional intelligence of cricket athlete in west sumatra are self-awareness, self-motivation, motivation, empathy, and social skills at 75% then the results of this research is the cricket athletes in west sumatra do not have good emotional intelligence.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of physical condition of West Sumatra hockey athletes. Popoulasi in this study are all West Sumatra hockey athletes, amounting to 20 people. Data is collected by conducting tests and measurements on each athlete's physical elements. The instruments used in this research were bleep test to measure aerobic endurance, running 50 meters to measure speed, Dodging run to measure agility and Flexiometer to measure flexibility. Data analysis was performed using descriptive analysis techniques through statistics (frequency tabulation). Conclusions from the study: From the analysis of the data it can be concluded that the level of physical abilities of West Sumatra hockey athletes is the best speed and flexibility, while the aerobic endurance and agility components are very low. Therefore physical abilities need to be improved through well-programmed training.

Abstract

Researchers modified the specific agility test for badminton using the badminton court and its movements resembled badminton games such as forward, right, left and back steps. This study aims to determine the validity and reliability of specific badminton agility tests. The population in this study were 182 people. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling, so it is determined to be a sample of 100 people. Data collection on badminton specific agility test, shuttle run test, and retesting from badminton specific agility test is done by calculating the time. The validity test in this study correlates the results of the badminton specific agility test with the results of the shuttle run test, while the reliability test by correlating the results of the badminton specific agility test with the results of the retest. Based on data analysis, the level of validity of a Badminton Specific Agility Test is 0.78, which means very good, while the reliability level of a Badminton Specific Agility Test is 0.79, which means it can be accepted.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to reveal the contribution of arm muscle explosive power to the speed of tennis service to students of the Faculty of Sport Science, Padang State University. The population in this study were FIK UNP students who had taken basic tennis courses. While the sample is 100 students who are considered to have good servive techniques. Data obtained from the results of the arm muscle explosive power test performed with one Hand Medicine Ball, grip strength test with grip strength dynamometer while the service test was performed with Hewitt Achievement Test. Based on data analysis, it was found that the results obtained: 1) There was a contribution of arm muscle explosive power to the speed of service, where the contribution was 75.19%. Thusthe explosive power of the arm muscles contributes to the speed of service. Punch service is one of the keys to a victory. The focus of this research is to find out how much the arm muscle explosive power contributes to the speed of service. This research will be applied to 100 FIK students taking field tennis courses in 2018. The aim is to apply to students so that we can see directly how much the contribution of explosive power arm muscles towards the speed of the tennis court service, besides the contribution of other factors

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of direct learning models on the mastery of basic techniques of sepaktakraw students majoring in sports education at the Faculty of Sport Science, Padang State University (FIK UNP). The method of this research is quasi-experimental research with the independent variable direct learning model and the dependent variable is the basic technical ability of sepaktakraw students majoring in sports education FIK UNP. The population in the study were students of FIK UNP. The results showed that there was a significant influence of the direct learning model on the mastery of basic techniques of sepaktakraw students of FIK UNP sports education with a t count of 14.473> t table 2.31 (df 8) with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. The average pretest score of 13.11 increased at the time of the post test to be 21.11 with an increase of 8 scores (61.02%).

Abstract

The problem in this study is the ability to smash the volleyball athletes of SMA Negeri 1 Linggo Sari Baganti not so well. This study aims to determine the contribution of leg muscle explosive power and eye-hand coordination to the volleyball smash ability at SMA Negeri 1 Linggo Sari Baganti. The type of this research is correlational. The population in this research is all male students of class 1 and 2 of SMA Negeri 1 Linggo Sari Baganti. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Thus the number of samples in this study was 30 people. Data were collected using measurements of all three variables. Leg muscle explosive power variables used a vertical jump test and eye-hand coordination using ball werfen unchanged, while the smash ability used the smash ability test. Data were analyzed with product correlation and followed by multiple correlation. The results showed that the explosive power of the limbs had a significant relationship with the ability to smash because it was found to count 0.576> r table 0.361. Hand-eye coordination has a significant relationship with the ability to smash because it was found to be 0.466 table 0.361. Furthermore, the explosive power of the limbs and eye-hand coordination together have a significant relationship with the ability to smash and are empirically accepted, because it is found that r count = 0.677> r table = 0.361.

Abstract

Basketball in Bangkalan Regency is still constrained in its development, especially at an early age level. At the early age level elementary schools become one of the agencies expected to play a high role in their development through both intracuricular and extracurricular activities in accordance with applicable curriculum regulations. In fact, none of the primary schools in Bangkalan Regency have a standard or minimum basketball court that suits the needs of young children in recognizing basketball games as stated in the basic competencies of big ball games. Conventional strategies used by teachers and sports extracurricular coaches in primary schools have resulted in monotonous and boring training models or basketball learning as suggested by the partners, namely PERBASI Bangkalan Regency. Through a small game of basketball it is hoped that it can be integrated with the introduction of basketball in early childhood in elementary school even with limited facilities and infrastructure as well as providing the latest knowledge in dynamic streching in early childhood in the form of active and passive heating that can be applied in introducing basketball to early childhood at the elementary school level. A total of 5 small basketball games, namely Tiggy line, Dribble Knockout, Team Dribble Relays (Speed ​​Dribble & Ball Handling), 4 Pass to Score, Bull in the ring. The five types of small games in Dynamic Streching for early childhood are expected to be a way out to be able to introduce basketball to early childhood in elementary school with a pleasant variation so as to avoid boredom students. Abstract

This study discusses plyometric exercises in improving the long jump ability of self-development students of SMAN 1 Batang Anai. The purpose of this study was to describe the process and results of conducting plyometric exercises of 16 meetings for the long jump ability of the self-improvement students of SMAN 1 Batang Anai Padang Pariaman. the type of research used is quasi-experimental research. The design of this study is one group pre-test-posttest design. The study population was students who participated in athletic self-development activities at SMAN 1 Batang Anai Padang Pariaman, amounting to 16 people. The sampling technique in this study used a Census Sampling of 16 people. The exercises are given 4 times per week for 16 meetings. The instrument used is the long jump. Data analysis using t-test. Based on the results of research conducted it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of plyometric exercises on increasing the ability of long jump self-development students of SMAN 1 Batang Anai Padang Pariaman, where tcount = 3.64> ttable = 1.74. The average long jump ability of a student's initial test is 3.64 and the average long jump ability of a student's final test is 4.15.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of leg muscle explosive power exercises to increase the ability of mae geri chudan karateka son of Lemkari Dojo Bato Pariaman city. Type of this research is pre experimental with one group design pre-test and post test. The population of this research is 25 peoples. This sampling was done by using purposive sampling technique, so that got the sample as many as 14 peoples who are given of muscle leg muscle as many as 16 times for training. The technique of collecting data is using by mae geri chudan test instrument with validity and reliability of instrument 0,98 and 0,97. The data analysis uses the t-test formula which a result is used to test of hypotesis. From the data analysis obtained tcount (6.75) > ttable (1.771), so the hypotesis was accepted. Thus it can be summed up the exercise by using the explosive power tension training method to improve the ability of mae geri chudan karateka son Lemkari Dojo Bato Pariaman city.
