This study aims to determine the effect of the Scramble type cooperative learning model with image media on the motivation and learning outcomes of grade 2 elementary school students. This research was conducted at the SDN Tropodo 2 Waru Sidoarjo Regency 2018/2019. This type of research experiment uses a quantitative approach, with nonequivalent (pretest and posstest) design contril group design. This study uses two classes namely the experimental class and the control class. The study sample was class 2A as the experimental class and 2B as the control class. The instruments used were motivation observation sheets and learning outcomes tests. Data analysis techniques used included normality test, homogeneity test, and independent sample t-test. The results of the study showed that there was an effect oflearning model the scramble type cooperative on media images on the motivation and learning outcomes of grade 2 elementary school students.value of gain normalized Motivatedexperiment class 0.174, control class 0.115value gain normalized of student learning outcomes experimental class 0.192, control class 0.141 test results independent samples t-test motivation showed tcount of 7.845> ttable of 1,677. the results of the test of independent samples t-test of learning outcomes indicate that the value of tcount is 5.254> ttable of 1,677. It can be concluded that thelearning model scramble type cooperative with image media influences the motivation and learning outcomes of grade 2 students in elementary school.

This study was conducted because of the need for a learning model that fits the Indonesian context to build critical thinking skills that can be used at elementary school level. This study used the literature review. This study produced one solution to be able to build critical thinking skills using RADEC learning model (read-answer-discuss-explain and create). The approach in learning done by the teacher plays a role in improving critical thinking skills. The teacher needs to use a learning model that can stimulate students' critical thinking skills.

This research is aimed to know: (1) Whether the increasing students critical thinking ability through guided discovery learning methods assisted by geogebra higher than the students who were given guided discovery methods without geogebra, (2) How the interaction between learning and early math ability of student mathematical learning result. This study was a quasi-experimental study. The population of this study was the entire class of six semester mathematics education which approximately 184 people. Randomly, two classes were selected from six classes. The first experimental class was given a geogebra assisted discovery method and the second experimental class was given a guided discovery method without geogebra . The instrument used was a description test. The data analysis has been done by analysis of two-way variance (ANOVA). The results showed (1) the increasing students critical thinking ability through guided discovery learning methods assisted by geogebra were better than the students who were given guided discovery learning methods without geogebra. (2) There was no Interaction between learning and early math ability of student mathematical learning results.

The advancement of Information Technology alters various aspects of human life, including learning. In the present era, on-line learning facilities are provided by institutions, ranging from formal higher education to open course-ware providers. On-line learning or e-learning is mostly achieved through stored media that widely available. These media take forms in various formats such as text and images, slide that equipped with narration from the lecturer, or a video where the lecturer appears inside the frames. We conducted a research about how students would response to the available learning media. The research was conducted with repetitive measures. Each measurement was a module that divided into three parts, where each part was presented to the student as one out of three media listed above. Hence we had three media types for each module. Each module took one week, and at the next week we gather their responses through evaluation forms. All modules were completed in six consecutive weeks. After all modules were completed, we analyze their responses and found that our samples responded best to the video with the appearance of the instructor/lecturer, then the slide with audio, and finally text and images.
