Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of impoliteness in student language in the lecture process. The study was conducted on students of the Indonesian Language Tadris Departement at Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu State Islamic University (UIN). The data analysis method used is descriptive-qualitative. This study found violations or impoliteness in: 1) maxims of wisdom in 3 utterances; 2) modesty maxim of 4 utterances; 3) sympathy maxim of 2 utterances; 4) the maxim of appreciation is 4 utterances; 5) the maxim of agreement is 1 utterance; 6) the maxim of agreement is not found. This research concludes that the impoliteness in the language of Indonesian Tadris Departement students at UIN Fatmawati Sukarno is found in the maxims of impoliteness, tact, humility, sympathy, appreciation, and agreement

Abstract

This study aims to find the moral values contained in historical themed short stories produced by students of SMK N 6 Semarang. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The theory of moral values used in this study consists of four divisions of types of moral values, namely, 1. moral values of divinity, 2. moral values of ideology and philosophy, 3. moral values of ethics and decency, and 4. moral values of discipline and law. The time for collecting research data was in the odd semester in the learning material for writing short stories with the theme of Indonesian history in class XI fashion 2, SMK N 6 Semarang. The results of this study found various moral values contained in historical-themed short stories by students of SMK N 6 Semarang. The results of the analysis of short stories made by students of SMK N 6 Semarang, there are eleven moral values contained in them. The results of this study show that the most moral values are ethical moral values, moral moral values with 5 (five) findings of moral values, then there are ideological and philosophical values, there are 4 (four) moral values, and finally there is 1 moral value, namely moral values of divinity, discipline and law. The first short story contains the moral values of ideology and philosophy, the second short story contains the moral values of ethics and decency, the third short story contains the moral values of ideology and philosophy, the fourth short story contains the moral values of ethics and decency, the fifth short story contains the moral values of ethics and decency, the sixth short story contains moral values divine and ideological morals, the seventh short story contains moral values of ethics and decency, and the eighth short story contains moral values of discipline and law.

Abstract

Evaluation activities are activities that tend to be disliked by students because teachers usually use written tests in the form of multiple choices or entries with long descriptive text. These activities are considered more boring by students than learning activities, because they are required to focus and dwell on monotonous questions. One of the learning evaluation media options is Proprofs. This study aims to describe the utilization of the Proprofs platform as a medium for evaluating learning outcomes in class IX response text material at SMP Negeri 77 Central Jakarta. This study used a qualitative descriptive method through observation and questionnaire techniques with research subjects of class IX students at SMP Negeri 77 Central Jakarta, totaling 40 participants as questionnaire respondents and 10 participants who took the test with Propofs. The results of this study were that the mastery of the students who took the quiz was considered to be lacking in acceptance and understanding of the response text material and many of the students had not been able to achieve the KKM score that had been set. In utilizing and using the Propofs platform, students feel interested in using the Propofs platform as a fun learning evaluation medium.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan siswa menuangkan ide dalam menulis teks ekplanasi. Faktor yang memengaruhi kesulitan tersebut karena rendahnya kosa kata siswas sehingga memengaruhi kemampuan menulis. Selain itu, penggunaan media pembelajaran juga kurang kreatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menambah penggunaan media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan guru yaitu media powtoon Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (R&D) ADDIE (analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate). Implementasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas media yang digunakan. Hasil perhitungan tes menulis teks eksplanasi siswa memperoleh nilai dengan rata-rata 84 dengan kategori sangat baik atau lulus nilai KKM yaitu 75 yang menunjukkan bahwa media powtoon efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks eksplanasi. Tahap evaluasi dilakukan dengan penyebaran angket respons pengguna yaitu guru dan siswa dan ditemukan hasilnya bahwa dari 10 aspek  yang tertuang dalam instrumen respons guru dan siswa sebagai pengguna, jumlah keseluruhan skor adalah 283 dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 4,70. Setelah dipersentasekan sebesar 94% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Kata Kunci: Eksplanasi, powtoon, media pembelajaran

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of subordinating conjunctions in the short story Kasur Tanah by Muna Masyari. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach. The source of research data is the short story Kasur Tanah by Muna Masyari. The technique used to collect data is the read-note technique. The analysis technique used is descriptive technique. The results of this study show that the use of subordinating conjunctions contained in the short stories Kasur Tanah is quite diverse. The use of subordinating conjunctions in question includes time subordinating conjunctions, goal subordinating conjunctions, cause subordinating conjunctions, concessional subordinating conjunctions, method subordinating conjunctions, tool subordinating conjunctions, and comparative subordinating conjunctions. The results of this study can be used as a learning reference for all readers.

Abstract

Iklan merupakan sarana promosi produk yang digunakan suatu lembaga untuk memikat minat konsumen. Suatu iklan yang efektif akan memuat tuturan yang sopan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkapkan bentuk, pelanggaran, kepatuhan dan fungsi dalam tuturan iklan sampo Head and Shoulders. Penelitian ini merupakan deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dari tuturan dalam percakapan antara aktor iklan Joe Taslim dan Fadil Jaidi pada akun youtube@head and shoulders. Tuturan mereka didengarkan, ditranskripsikan, dan kemudian diidentifikasi kata-kata  dan frasa-frasa yang serupa. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan hubungan antara kecepatan membaca dan pemahaman membaca pada siswa kelas V di SDN Jasinga 7 Kabupaten Bogor dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik korelasional, dan sampel diambil secara acak menggunakan teknik random sampling. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui lembar jawaban hasil observasi dan melalui tes lisan yang menguji pemahaman siswa terhadap bacaan. Berdasarkan analisis data, ditemukan bahwa hubungan antara kecepatan membaca dan pemahaman membaca dalam penelitian ini sangat rendah, dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,129. Meskipun hubungan ini bersifat positif, kontribusi kecepatan membaca terhadap pemahaman membaca siswa hanya sebesar 1,6641%. Hasil uji signifikansi menunjukkan bahwa hubungan tersebut tidak signifikan secara statistik, dengan nilai hitung sebesar 0,596 dan nilai t tabel sebesar 1,721 pada tingkat signifikansi α = 0,05. Dengan demikian, dapat dikatakan bahwa meskipun terdapat hubungan positif antara kecepatan membaca dan pemahaman membaca, hubungan tersebut tidak signifikan dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

The purpose of implementing the speed-reading method in the learning process of reading at SMKN 3 Takalar Class X TKJ 3 is to enhance students’ speed-reading skills and learning outcomes. Classroom action research is the type of research employed in this study. The data analysis techniques used are both qualitative and quantitative descriptive analyses. According to the research findings, the process of learning to read using the speed-reading method improved the learning results of the students in which in cycle 1 meeting 1 the results obtained an active percentage of 64% and this increased in the second meeting to 72%. In cycle II, the student activeness at meeting 1 achieved 80% and increased at the second meeting to 83%. Meanwhile, the results of students' reading ability in cycle 1 obtained an average score of 72 with a completion percentage only 10 or 50% of students in the complete category, and as many as 10 or 50% of students in the incomplete category. Besides, in cycle 2 students obtained an average score of 81 with a completion percentage of 20 or 100% of students obtained a complete score. To conclude, implementing the speed-reading method can improve the learning outcomes of students at class X TKJ 3 SMKN 3 Takalar.

Abstract

Feminist ideology, especially regarding the image of women in literary works, can open up society's views more broadly and comprehensively regarding various gender issues. The aim of this research is to describe the image of the main female character in the Jambi folk tale Legend of the Putri Cermin Cina. The research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method. Research data in the form of sentence quotations was obtained through reading and note-taking techniques. Next, the data was analyzed using interactive techniques. The results of this research show that the main female character in the Legend of the Chinese Mirror Princess is depicted as a social woman who has high complexity. Judging from her physical image, the main female character is depicted as a beautiful woman, smiling, polite in speaking, and graceful. Judging from the psychological aspect, the main female character is depicted as someone who is soft-hearted and always happy. In her role in the family, the female character is described as careful, agile, diligent, skilled, and devoted to her parents. As for their role in community life, female characters are described as having a high social spirit, being very loved by the community, and having noble character.

Abstract

Abstrak. Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan perangkat lunak pendidikan yang interaktif dikemas ke dalam digitalisasi pembelajaran. Saat ini perangkat pembelajaran masih dibuat secara tradisional belum terdigitalisasinya perangkat pembelajaran. Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing atau biasa disingkat BIPA merupakan sebuah program pembelajaran keterampilan berbahasa Indonesia bagi penutur asing. Saat ini masih terbatas perangkat pembelajaran yang sudah terdigitalisasi. Perangkat pembelajaran belum bisa diakses oleh pengajar, pemelajar BIPA secara terbuka. Hal ini dikarenakan belum ada e-learning yang digunakan untuk mendigitalisasi perangkat pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsi kebutuhan dan prototipe pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran digital bahasa Indonesia bagi penutur asing tingkat pemula untuk pembelajar dan pemelajar BIPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan research & development (R&D). Model penelitian yang digunakan mengacu pada desain model ADDIE terdiri dari lima tahap, yaitu Analysis (Analisis), Design (Perancangan), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (Implementasi), dan Evaluation (Evaluasi). Upaya kebutuhan penelitian ini disesuaikan dengan tujuan dan kondisi penelitian yang sebenarnya. Hasil observasi, wawancara, pengisian angket, dan FGD (Focus Group Discusion). Hasil dari penelitian: 1) kebutuhan perangkat pembelajaran digital bahasa Indonesia bagi penutur asing tingkat pemula, 2) Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berupa RPP, sumber belajar, instrumen dan penilaian. Dari hasil angket menyatakan perlunya perangkat pembelajaran BIPA yang sudah terdigitalisasi.
