Abstract

The problem of religious counselor has the same problem as their equivalent, namely that the existence of these instructors almost does not get the support of great attention both in terms of regulation and understanding of literacy as a socio-religious foundation in the digital era. The purpose of this research is to study the strengthening of regulations and literacy efforts as a socio-religious foundation for religious counselors in the digital era. The research methodology is qualitative with a socio-legal research approach. Through a study of regulations and efforts of Islamic religious counselors: Literacy as a socio-religious foundation in the digital era, concluded that: 1) In terms of regulations required by the technical implementation of the functional implementation of Religious Extension Officers for Permanpan RB No. 9 of 2021 and the formulation of 19 derivatives of the Permanpan as the task of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia as the agency for fostering Religious Extension; and 2) Efforts to improve the quality of literacy as a socio-religious foundation for Islamic religious counselors in the digital era by providing continuous training rooms in the use of technology, information and communication tools, thematic training programs on religious content for extension social media users, program implementation socio-religious studies funded by the relevant government for religious counselors and the implementation of skills in writing scientific papers on socio-religious in a comprehensive manner on an ongoing basis.

Abstract

Meningkatnya kasus penyalahgunaan narkoba pada masa pandemi covid-19 menjadi perhatian khusus bagi masyarakat Islam di Indonesia. Upaya solutif dan konstruktif dilakukan agar masyarakat terbebas dari penyalahgunaan narkoba. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan aktor-aktor dan menggali peluang pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkoba berbasis digital. Telaah dilakukan dengan kajian pustaka untuk dapat memetakan relasi aktor dan bagiamana informasi pencegahan terjalin. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mencari artikel yang terakreditasi pada laman Google Scholar rentang tahun 2020 hingga 2022. Hasilnya menunjukan aktor didominasi oleh kelompok-kelompok berbasis Islam, seperti Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, Majelis Taklim, Komunitas Tasawuf, Penyuluh Agama Islam dan Yayasan Rehabilitasi. Relasi aktor terbentuk seiring adanya program-program pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkoba. Namun upaya pencegahan di lingkungan masyarakat Islam perlu mempertimbangkan pembatasan sosial karena pandemi covid-19 dan terbatasnya percepatan pencegahan pada skala waktu dan tempat. Upaya pemanfatan teknologi dapat digunakan dengan tiga pendekatan. Pertama, mengintegrasikan pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkoba dengan perangkat digital. Kedua, peran multimedia dalam menyebarkan informasi pencegahan penyalaghunaan narkoba. Ketiga, menciptakan jejaring sosial pada perangkat digital.

Abstract

Abstract Sociologically, the face of human life on this earth is pluralistic, not only in culture, language, ethnicity, customs, skin color and ethnicity, but also in aspects of religious beliefs. The problem is, the plurality of religious beliefs colored by clash after clash between various adherents of different religions. In modern history, there have been so many violent conflicts and acts of terrorism that have occurred in the name of faith in various parts of the world. Although various motives other than religion can be sought, the perpetrators of modern terrorism claim to be inspired and motivated by a certain understanding of religion. Karen Armstrong presents a brilliant offer to the conflict that must be sought for a common platform that is fundamental and lies at the heart of every tradition of the world's major religions such as Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Hindi, Buddhism, and Confucianism. Karen found a fundamental principle that could become a common platform among world religions, namely the principle of compassion. This article will discuss Karen Armstrong's thoughts on the principles of compassion in the world's religious traditions for inter-religious coexistence using a historical and philosophical critical approach in depth. Keywords: Compassion, World religion, coexistence, Karen Armstrong Abstrak Secara sosiologis, wajah kehidupan umat manusia di muka bumi ini berbentuk pluralistik bukan hanya dalam budaya, bahasa, etnis, adat, warna kulit dan suku bangsa, melainkan juga dalam aspek keyakinan agama. Persoalannya, pluralitas keyakinan agama tersebut tidak jarang diwarnai dengan benturan demi benturan antara pelbagai penganut agama yang berbeda satu sama lain. Dalam sejarah modern ini, terdapat begitu banyak konflik kekerasan dan tindakan terorisme yang terjadi atas nama keyakinan diberbagai belahan dunia. Meskipun bisa dicari pelbagai motif-motif selain agama, para pelaku terorisme modern tersebut mengaku diilhami dan dimotivasi oleh pemahaman tertentu atas agama. Karen Armstrong menyuguhkan sebuah tawaran brilian terhadap konflik tersebut bahwa harus dicari sebuah common flatform (pijakan bersama) yang bersifat fundamental dan terletak dalam jantung setiap tradisi agama-agama besar dunia seperti Islam, Yahudi, Kristen, Hindi, Buddha, dan Kong Hu Cu. Karen menemukan sebuah prinsip fundamental yang bisa menjadi common flatform antar agama-agama dunia yakni prinsip belas kasih (compassion). Artikel ini akan mendiskusikan pemikiran Karen Armstrong tentang prinsip-prinsip belas kasih dalam tradisi agama-agama dunia bagi koeksistensi antar umat beragama dengan menggunakan pendekatan historis dan dan kritis filosofis secara mendalam. Abstract

This article aims to explain the effectiveness of da'wah in the form of delivering messages through trends (PesanTrend) in the digital era with the use of social media, especially Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube and to compare the effectiveness of conventional da'wah with Pesantrend da'wah. By utilizing internet facilities, millennial preachers can create Islamic content that is packaged in slang and related to stories of daily life and can be added with funny things so that it can attract and invite the younger generation to watch and apply it for good. This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The sample of this study were Indonesian citizens of generation Z aged 18-22 years. The data collection technique used was in the form of an online questionnaire containing questions about the message of da'wah contained in the social media content of Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively by means of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that Instagram tends to be preferred by Generation Z than Youtube and Facebook. This is because Generation Z tends to prefer Islamic content in the form of images rather than videos or writings because image media is considered more attractive and easy to understand. In addition, the current generation of Z also tends to prefer the message of Trending Da'wah to conventional da'wah such as lectures, studies, Islamic learning, and so on

Abstract

The case of Islamophobia is one of the cases that is often reported in the German media, which is closely related to the failure of multiculturalism politics which has an impact on the emergence of a negative stigma against Islam. Being a Western country with the largest Muslim population in Europe with a total of approximately 5.3 to 5.6 million people, based on data from the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) in 2021, the German government's policy towards Muslim immigrants is very exclusive and limited. Despite the many negative stigmas, Islam has been transformed into one of the major entities whose existence is considered. Muhammadiyah is one of the Islamic organizations in Indonesia that has diasporaized the "Modernist Islam" missionary movement in Germany. Through the modernist Islamic diaspora, Muhammadiyah seeks to explore the issue of Islamophobia by developing a da'wah movement through real programs to raise the positive image of Islam in German society. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach, which involves conducting a literature review, where all the data used in this study uses secondary data, which includes books, theses, theses, articles, journals, and various news related to this research. The results of this study illustrate that the modernist Muhammadiyah Islamic diaspora in Germany has had quite a positive impact in efforts to minimize the negative stigma of Islamophobia in Germany.

Abstract

The rise of cases of inter-religious harmony conflicts caused by biased interactions and misunderstandings in communication has sparked serious problems. So, communication should be done in an empathetic and tolerant way. The purpose of this article is to answer concerns about how empathic communication can maintain harmony in the Puja Mandala Worship Complex, Bali, as well as what efforts can strengthen harmony between religious adherents at Puja Mandala, Bali. Data collection was achieved through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation which will be presented through qualitative research methods. The results obtained, that the negotiation of good relations can be through: interpersonal communication, group communication and mass communication. While efforts to maintain harmony can be seen from; construction of places of worship, foreign aid, celebration of religious holidays and broadcasting of religion. This will extinguish the conflict to the national level.

Abstract

This paper explained how the da'wah digitization which in this era was a major challenge that must be faced by plural netizens in Indonesia. To strengthen social harmony in religion, it was needed culture-based da'wah digitization, especially moderate da'wah to create netizens that would be able to interact well with one another on the internet. Social-religious harmony in cyberspace needed to be strengthened because with a strong social harmony in religion on plural netizens, the harmony of life between religious people or religious communities will be achieved and survived on the plural netizens in particular. The existence of supporting factors and inhibiting factors for the occurrence of social and religious harmony in the plural netizens showed that there was a relation between socio-religious harmony and culture-based da’wah digitization.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the diversity in the concept of Islam in Bangka Island which consists of tolerance values, equality values, democracy values, and justice values. As for internalizing the value of diversity on Bangka Island, it includes four cultures, namely, religious culture, scientific culture, social culture, and political culture. Meanwhile, the pesantren's strategy in maintaining diversity is the absence of dichotomy in education, no ethnic and cultural exclusivity, teaching moderate understanding, instilling a sense of love for the motherland, and opportunities for women to develop intellectual power on an equal footing with men.

Abstract

Da'wah is an effort to spread religious teachings and strengthen the faith and practice of the people. Therefore, in da'wah, it is essential to reflect on prophetic values so that da'wah can be delivered correctly and by religious teachings. This study reflects on prophetic values to strengthen da'wah in the digitalisation era. This study is qualitative research in the form of library research with normative-philosophical research type with a conceptual research category that uses a descriptive-analytical research approach. Therefore, the results of the study state that strengthening da'wah in the digitalisation era can take advantage of technology to expand its reach and increase its effectiveness of da'wah. However, in using technology, it is also necessary to reflect prophetic values to avoid deviating from religious teachings. The existence of prophetic values such as humanisation, liberation and transcendence that are integrated to ground Islamic values in the lives of Muslims can be the basis for realising da'wah activities that uphold the values of benefit for human social life. Therefore, Islamic da'wah activities are projected to instil Islamic da'wah values that can synergistically empower human and natural resources because it not only aims to strengthen the vertical dimension of tawhid but also includes horizontal relationships with fellow humans and all creatures.

Abstract

The emergence of the phenomenon of inclusive da'wah in the era of globalization has triggered a harsh da'wah model and using religion as fiqh siyasah makes preachers in the current era tend to be easy to claim heresy and provocation. The focus of this research is to answer the concept of the KH. Marzuki Mustamar da'wah trilogy. Marzuki Mustamar and his contribution as an effort to maintain the welfare of the people through the moral message of da'wah conveyed. The type of research used in this study is a type of qualitative research with library research methods and approaches related to the theory of washi lah da'wah about the concept of moderate da'wah. The results of this study state that the welfare of the people can be built through the cultivation of the concept of Ahlu al-Sunnah Wa al-Jama>'ah creed and love for the homeland and acculturation between religion and local culture of the community, which in its values means that first, religion must be based on principles in a middle line (moderate); Second, the cultivation of the spirit of nationalism and tolerance between religious communities; third, concern for the preservation of local culture within the community. This research is expected to be able to answer the problems of the integrity of the people and be able to contribute to the empowerment of the people through the way of da'wah.
