Abstract

This article discusses literacy in Titidu Village through the Rumah ABC (Fun to Read and Story) program. The reading room in Titidu Village as a place for literacy already exists, but the interest in books and the empowerment of the reading room has not been maximized. In addition, the reading room space in the hall must share space with other items and activities. So that the opening and closing hours of the reading room are not fixed. As a result, the reading room is rarely visited by the public, especially children. This article was created with the aim of providing an overview of literacy in Titidu Village through the ABC House (Fun to Read and Stories). The methods used are observation and interviews. Observations include direct observation of the reading room of the Titidu Village hall. While the interviews included village officials and children who were both objects and actors in the ABC House (Fun to Read and Stories). In this article, it was found that the ABC House (Fun to Read and Stories) could foster children's literacy interest in Titidu Village. This is indicated by an increase in the number of children participating in the ABC House program (Fun to Read and Stories). In addition, the number of books that children read every meeting is increasing. This ABC (Fun to Read and Story) house also serves to provide protection for children through literacy.

Abstract

Di era modern sekarang ini, sistem pendidikan sedang menghadapi situasi yang mana para pendidik dituntut untuk dapat menguasai media pembelajaran jarak jauh atau pembelajaran daring. Dikarenakan, saat ini dunia sedang menghadapi suatu permasalahan dibidang kesehatan yaitu pandemi covid-19. Sistem pendidikan pembelajaran dalam jaringan (daring) merupakan pembelajaran yang dilakukan menggunakan internet sebagai tempat penyaluran ilmu pengetahuan. Di era perkembangan teknologi, pembelajaran daring semakin canggih dengan berbagai aplikasi dan fitur yang semakin memudahkan kita sebagai pengguna. Oleh karena itu, Sistem pembelajaran dalam jaringan (daring) menjadi satu-satunya solusi untuk mengatasi kesulitan dalam pembelajaran tatap muka dan menjadi satu-satunya pilihan yang dapat dilakukan oleh pendidik agar peserta didik tetap bisa meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran. Salah satu pemanfaatan pembelajaran daring berupa pemanfaatan Aplikasi Edmodo. Aplikasi Edmodo merupakan sebuah pembelajaran daring yang menyediakan beragam fitur untuk kegiatan pembelajaran. Namun, pemanfaatan aplikasi edmodo dalam mendukung proses belajar mengajar belum diterapkan dalam pembelajaran di lembaga MI Az- Zainiyah II. Untuk itu, kegiatan pengabdian ini melakukan pengabdian masyarakat dengan memperkenalkan aplikasi edmodo dalam mendukung proses belajar mengajar, serta membantu pendidik dalam menciptakan sebuah proses pembelajaran jarak jauh yang tidak monoton. Pengabdian dilakukan dengan mensosialisasikan aplikasi edmodo sebagai efektivitas pembelajaran daring di era pandemi ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini yaitu metode ceramah, metode diskusi (Tanya jawab), dan metode demonstrasi. Subjek pengabdian adalah pendidik, wali murid (orangtua) dan  peserta didik MI Az-Zainiyah II Grinting Paiton Probolinggo. Adanya sosialisasi ini diharapkan semua komponen yang bersangkutan bisa memahami aplikasi edmodo, baik fungsi dan cara penggunaannya sebagai salah satu keefektivan pembelajaran selama pandemi.

Abstract

This paper examines the history of manuscript writing and production in the Islamic world and its development in the modern age. He focuses on ancient manuscripts stored in the library of Leiden, the Netherlands, by examining its substantive historical setting, about how it was obtained and brought into Europe, how it was preserved and the initiative to dismantle and remove it. These old manuscripts have left an important legacy and contribution to civilization and are valuable treasures and assets that should be studied and utilized.

Abstract

This article discusses the views of Sheikh H. Ali Imran Hasan regarding tarekat moderation. This paper departs from the development of the tarekat and the attitude of exclusivity in charity, which is often a moderation process in the tarekat. According to Sheikh H. Ali Imran Hasan, knowledge and charity are two important aspects in studying the tarekat as well as monitoring the development of the tarekat. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The conclusions of this study include: (1) the importance of a complete and comprehensive understanding in studying the tarekat (2) a rational and open attitude can eliminate boredom in thinking for students (3) the need to pay attention to public acceptance of the tarekat to avoid

Abstract

This study aims to deepen the value and benefits of character education for young people, especially among adolescents who are generally seventeen years old. And its relevance in the lives of teenagers today. The character education of young people is a major issue in Indonesia today. This arises through a phenomenon that often occurs among adolescents and is quite disturbing to society. Some of the phenomena that arise are children becoming unable to accept other people's opinions openly and kindly, lack of listening to parental advice, becoming thugs and drug addicts. This is triggered by the lack of character education that should be built from an early age. If a child grows up in a harmonious, harmonious and peaceful condition and situation, of course the child will have a good character, be able to listen to parental advice, and will have dreams in the future. This situation will be compared upside down when the child gets the opposite or less good educational process. The method I use in this research is to conduct a critical analysis by examining character development in adolescence. As material in this reflection, I use some theories sourced from several books as references to help explain the meaning and importance of character education for young people. Through this study I came to the conclusion that character education plays a very important role in understanding and finding solutions for the good and bad tendencies of young people, especially adolescents.

Abstract

This article looks at the effectiveness of online zakat implementation at the Padang City National Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas Padang City). This research was conducted because almost all sectors of life have been transformed into digitalization. Apart from the rapid technological advances, Covid-19 has also been forced to change. Padang City Baznas took part in this change by implementing a digitalization system in zakat receipts, as well as contracts made with muzakki that were not carried out directly. This article is a qualitative research. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document collection. The results of the study indicate that the digital services of the Padang City Baznas are divided into three forms, first, through Transfers via the Padang City Baznas Account; second, the Padang City Baznas Website; and third, Scan the QR Code. For the sake of the perfection of the system, the City of Padang Baznas utilizes social media to campaign for the community with various available platforms. Even though it was carried out in various ways, it was found that the implementation of online zakat in the Padang City Baznas had not been running effectively. This is proven based on the recapitulation of incoming zakat. The Padang City Baznas has not separated the zakat paid by muzakki online or offline. While this is important in the world of digitization as a form of transparency. Then, the ineffectiveness is caused by the uneven distribution of the internet network.

Abstract

Education is the backbone of the nation's progress. Because a good education can create quality human resources (HR). The distance learning process carried out during a pandemic can trigger a decrease in participation and active interest in learning. Therefore, optimal encouragement and support are needed to restore the active learning of students. Creative, innovative and productive learning methods are designed to deal with the process of changing the way learning is carried out remotely. KIP method (creative, innovative and productive) method is based on constructivism theory. This method only facilitates students to build new concepts based on the old concepts they already have. there we conduct tutoring activities which are held for 2 weeks, the management strategy approach is in the form of tutoring. The difference that we make is with the existence of the smart game. The Creative, Innovative, and Productive methods applied to elementary school students in Bringinbendo Village, turned out to have brought changes in learning patterns. Students look more active in learning and more easily understand the material they have learned.

Abstract

Basic literacy habituation through reading activities for SD IT El-Fatah students is a service program that aims to empower the community of SD IT El-Fatah through basic reading literacy activities. The main target in this program is grade III students. The series of service activities start from the planning stage to identify the needs and strengths of students and schools. The results show that reading facilities and infrastructure in schools are not adequate and students' reading interest is still low, so plans are made to create a reading corner and a reading literacy habituation program. The implementation stage is the actualization of the plan to produce a reading corner equipped with a collection of children's story books, followed by the application of basic literacy habits through reading to third-grade students. The results of the implementation of basic literacy habituation are written on reading cards and analyzed for evaluation. Based on the results of habituation of basic literacy reading, it is known that 1) the existence of a reading corner and habituation of basic literacy reading received a positive response from students; 2) students experienced an increase in reading interest as seen from the increase in the number of pages read per day; 3) the diversity in students' reading skills can be seen from the different average number of pages that students can read per day; 4) the existence of a reading corner and a basic literacy habituation program are factors that can influence students' reading interest in terms of environmental factors and facilities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum in art learning and the constraints in art learning based on the 2013 Curriculum at SMA Negeri 10 Padang in the Academic Year of 2022/2023. The type of research used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Informants in this study were the deputy head of the curriculum, art and culture teachers in the field of fine arts, and representatives of each class XI student who had studied art at SMA Negeri 10 Padang. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on data processing, it is known that the implementation of art learning at SMA Negeri 10 Padang in the preparation of the Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) is in accordance with the 2013 Curriculum, but in the visual arts learning process the teacher has not used various learning strategies and there are still many students with low learning outcomes. . There are several obstacles that come from learning strategies, the delivery of learning that has not been completed by teachers, and teaching media facilities that are not used by teachers.

Abstract

Ideally, with the SKS system, students will be able to complete their studies at the earliest within 7 (seven) semesters or 8 (eight) semesters. This is different from the case with Jinayah Siayah Study Program students who mostly complete their studies for more than 8 (eight) semesters and even up to 14 semesters. What is the real cause of the student being late in completing his studies? To get these answers, interviews were conducted with students from the class of 2012, 2013 and 2014 who were late in completing their studies. From the results of these interviews, it can be seen that the cause of the students themselves is that they still do not understand how to make research proposals and do not have research ideas. While the other cause is the length of the thesis guidance process, some even up to 2 years, the thesis guidance process is rarely under 9 (nine) months.
