Abstract

Character education is essentially a struggle to maintain the survival of mankind so as not to fall into destruction. This has been the main concern of Muslim intellectuals from classical times to the present. In the treasury of the world of Islamic education get an extraordinary place and attention. It can be seen that Islam views education as a conscious effort to ground the teachings of Islam which in essence is to build the character of humanity as a whole (kaaffah), so that it becomes an ummatan wasathan (ideal ummah), khaira ummah (the best ummah) and Islam has a role to play. saving mankind from decline, by giving hudan (guidance), syifa' (antidote), mau'idzah (teachings that touch the heart), and mercy for all nature. All components of Islamic education: principles, goals, curriculum, teaching materials, educators, environment, and educational institutions are built on the moral values ​​of Islamic teachings. The cash characteristics are based on five main aspects, namely moral conscience; moral obligation; moral law (moral judgment); moral responsibility, and moral rewards. To answer this the author will refer to various books or books of Islamic literature and Islamic education, then describe and analyze them comprehensively, critically and objectively, and then conclude.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of learning in the Covid-19 era from the preception of student's. This research with a quantitative approach uses a number of samples from Isaac and Micheal. The study population was all UNIKS students in the odd and even semesters of the 2020/2021 academic year. The samples taken were 341 respondents using a significance level of 1%. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling with sampling using SPSS, namely simple sampling. The sample in this study was 65.1% female and 34.9% male. The data collection technique used the "PPC-19 Perception Scale" with five alternative answer choices and the data was collected via google form. The data analysis technique used is by using the percentage formula. From the results of data analysis, it was found that the average percentage of respondents' responses related to the implementation of learning during the Covid-19 period was the largest range of choices: Strongly Agree/Like/Good, Agree/Like/Good, Moderately Agree/Like/Good.

Abstract

The method of determining the nitrite content of water spinach has been conducted using UV-Visible spectrophotometry. The purpose of this research is to determine nitrite level in water spinach and to test linearity, precision, limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantification (LOQ) for uv-visible spectrophotometry. Based on the linearity test, the equation of the line y = 1.076x + 0.0201 is obtained with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.9995. In determining precision, the value of nitrite level is 0,0740 mg/Kg with % RPD value is 16.71%. The LOD value of 0,0485 mg/L NaNO2 and LOQ value of 0,1617 mg/L NaNO2. Based on these results, improvements need to be made so that the sample concentration is above the LOD so that the nitrite level can be measured accurately and pricise.

Abstract

This research is the second research in the theme of Lesson Study-based Didactic Design. This research is based on the problem of learning difficulties and the low understanding of high school students on the concept of solubility and the solubility product constant. This study aims to make Lesson Design on the concept of solubility and solubility product constant in class XI SMA. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Singingi in class XI science and 2 chemistry teachers. The instruments used in this study were the TKR (Respondent Ability Test) questions, observation sheets and interview guidelines on the concept of solubility and solubility product constants. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a Didactic Research Design (DDR) approach. The research started from observation, interviews, and making TKR (Respondent Ability Test). The results of this study are the dissolution of the characteristics of the Learning Obstacle (LO) of students identified in the solubility concept and the probability of product being known. on the concept of solubility and the solubility product constant. Furthermore, the Learning Obstacles (LO) obtained were used to create online learning lesson designs during the Covid-19 pandemic. Lesson design used for teaching materials for teachers and a simple substitute for lesson plans

Abstract

As an educator, it is important to understand the ethics of professionalism as an educator, because it is not only teaching students to be smart students. But an educator also controls education and becomes an example for his students to imitate, especially since Law no. 20 of 2003 concerning the national education system, special education or can be called special education that handles students who have special differences with other students out there. However, in carrying out their duties, educators will sometimes encounter obstacles that can hinder the teaching process of children. Because it is important from an early age to know how the ethics in the professionalism of an educator in special schools or can be called inclusive schools or ABK schools (children with special needs), so that prospective educators, especially educators in inclusive schools, clearly understand their role and apply their ethics professionalism in teaching. Because by knowing the professional ethics of an educator, it is hoped that the quality of educators in Indonesia can be better so that it gives birth to students who excel and have good character and behavior, besides that, educators must clearly understand that the task of educators is to maintain the good name of the school, harmony between students and educators. In addition, an understanding of the concept of professional ethics for education personnel includes an understanding of educational staff, the types of educators, an understanding of ethics, and the purpose of ethics that must be understood by educational staff.

Abstract

Synthesis of Fe3O4/chitosan/SiO2 composites has been carried out. This study observed the effect of rice husk silica on the synthesis of Fe3O4/Chitosan/SiO2 composites and the Cu (II) Metal Adsorption Test. The synthesis was carried out by synthesizing Fe3O4, preparing chitosan from rajungan shells, extracting silica from rice husks and synthesizing Fe3O4/chitosan/SiO2 Composite composites. Rice husk silica which was varied with a mass of 0.5; 0.75; and 1 gram. The results of XRD analysis showed the presence of Fe3O4 phase and SiO2 phase and crystalline structure. Composite adsorption test on Cu (II) metal showed the greatest adsorption efficiency with the addition of 1 gram of SiO2, which was 77.60 %.

Abstract

This study examined the education board's role in accelerating the improvement of the school principals' competence in Riau province. Development in education is one of the keys to the success of national growth. The principal is required to lead the school into a quality school following the demands of the current expansion of science and technology so graduates can be accepted at well-known universities domestically and abroad.The education council is a community organization that has commitment and loyalty and oversees improving the education quality in the region. As an independent institution, the education council will improve education services by providing development, direction, and support, personnel for facilities and infrastructure, and education supervision at the national, provincial and district/city levels. To realize this improvement in the school principals' competence, the Riau education board must synergize with the education office since various criticisms and suggestions are always proposed by the community, parents and students' guardians through this education board who come from people with educational backgrounds, concern about education, even from people who have managed education, so that they will know the intricacies and strategies for improving the competence of the principal. By optimizing the education board's role, the improvement of the principal's competence will be realized, so the schools in Riau are of high quality, and their graduates can be accepted in numerous well-known universities as the next generation of development staff and development in the Riau province.

Abstract

Papaya (Carica papaya L) is a popular plant in tropical regions such as as Indoneisa. whole areas of papaya from the root to the tio of the leaf, including the flower, fruits and seeds have good health benefits. Most studies see only the beneficial effects of the fruit and leaves, since they treat papaya seeds as waste have and are of no benefit. Papaya seeds are used as traditional remedies such as treating diarrheal diseases, skin diseases. Papaya seeds as an antibacterial that can kill bacteria by damaging the integrity of bacterial cells membranes. The papaya seeds are thought to contain a high level metabolic compound such a flavonoids, tokoferols, a terponoids that works as antioxidal in free radical counteract. Antiodants are substances that have small molecular weights that impede the oxidation reaction by promoting free radicals and highly reactive molecules that cause resistance cell damage. The study aims to determine the antioxidant activity on the extract of papaya seeds by using methanol by method of 2.2- diphenyl 1- picrylhidrazyl (DPPH). Research has shown that extract of papay methanol has IC50 of 872,0964 ppm indicates the antioxidal activity in papaya seed extract is very weak.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to design a reactor for the production of silver nanoparticles in natural polymeric media. The method used is to perform computational analysis to obtain a reactor design with specifications for a total reactor volume of 304.865 ft3, vessel diameter of 73.29 in, cylinder liquid volume of 92.87 in, design pressure of 18.97 psia, cylinder thickness of 73.44 in, height cylinder 10.77 ft, lid dimension 12.38 in, and lid dimension 21.18 in. These results are obtained according to calculations assuming the input mass is enlarged 100x from the reference journal used. This research can be used as a standard for making reactors to produce silver nanoparticles in natural polymeric media.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to design a liquid-phase reactor for the production of synthesized Fe3O4 nanoparticles using red betel leaf extract (Piper Crocatum) as a capping agent. The reactor model is assumed to have a production capacity of 60,000 tonnes per year, 220 tonnes per day at 2.680 kg/hour. The ratio of the amount of red betel leaf extract, FeCl3.6H2O, FeCl3.6H2O, and NaOH catalyst respectively is 20:8:4:1. Data analysis was obtained through manual calculations using the basic Microsoft Excel application. The selected reactor is a Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor (CSTR). Reactor volume (80%) is 325 ft3 with a height of 38.6 in. The dimensions of the stirrer (stirrer) are also calculated, the results of several parameters are the impeller diameter (Da) of 19.76 in, impeller height from tank bottom (c) of 13.5 in, impeller length (l) of 4.45 in and stirring power (p) of 4.33 hp. These results have not been analyzed in terms of thermodynamics such as ∆Hf and ∆Gf calculations to see whether the reaction is exothermic or endothermic, so it needs further study. However, the results of this analysis can be used as learning media in the process of designing, operating mechanisms and analyzing the performance of CSTR reactors.
