Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study was how the accuracy of the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) and Arbitrage Pricing Theory (APT) in Determining the Choice of Investing in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII). The objective of this study was to find out the differences of the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) and Arbitrage Pricing Theory (APT) in Determining the Choice of Investing in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII). There were two balance methods that are still used as the approach material for accuracy in predicting expected return. The two models were the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) and Arbitrage Pricing Theory (APT). In predicting CAPM company stock returns using risk-free return asset factors, market returns and beta while APT uses macroeconomic factors, namely interest rates, inflation, exchange rates and the money supply. The population in this study was 68 company shares after passing the purposive sampling stage, the sample of this study consisted of 27 monthly company shares that were registered continuously in the period 2010 - 2017. The data used in this study were secondary data with the data collection technique was documentation. The analysis technique used is independent sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that the CAPM method is more accurate than APT in determining the choice of investing in JII shares and there was no significant difference in accuracy between the CAPM and APT methods in determining the choice of investing in JII shares.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of service quality on patient satisfaction in outpatient health centers in the district Banyuasin, either jointly or partially. The study population was Outpatient At PHC In Musi Banyuasin which amounted to 92 people. The sampling technique that I useis the Random sampling, where some members of the population sampled. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. The answers given by the respondents were analyzed quantitatively usingSPSS for Windows version 16. Data quality was tested with validity and reliability. In this research, testing the basic assumptions of multiple regression that includes test data normality, linearity test, multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity test. The results of this study indicate that jointly a significant difference betweenthe quality of service to the satisfaction Outpatient At PHC In Musi Banyuasin. While the partial results of this study showed no significant difference between the quality of service to the satisfaction Outpatient AtPHC In Musi Banyuasin. This study provides the latest evidence of the dimensions of service qualityon patient satisfaction and confirm the extent of the influence of the dimensions of service quality to the satisfaction of outpatients in health centers in the district Banyuasin. Evidence indicates that the variable reliability dominates in improving patient satisfaction in health centers in the district Banyuasin, which is where it is because over the influence of variable reliability compared with other variables.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the information content of a political event (Gerakan AksiDamai 212 and King Salman's Visit) on capital market activity especially in BEI. Using 42company data, divided into 9 industry sectors by using method of event study. GerakanAksi Damai 212 of one different sectors and the arrival of King Salman of two differentsectors. These results indicate that the events of Gerakan Aksi Damai 212 and the arrivalof King Salman influenced investments made by investors, but not all sectorsexperienced significant investment differences, due to unforeseen price fluctuations.

Abstract

This paper has aim to develop the marketing strategy in service businesses by marketing mix program. With the new international 5 (five) star hotel as the research object, the authors want to explore the research finding field and create some strategies for the management for improving their marketing strategies for sustain the competitive advantage. This paper use qualitative research for research explanatory and focus group discussion in several staffs and supervisors in sales and service department. The authors use many variables to know the relationship and the influence of independent variables namely the product, price, location, promotion, people, the process and physical facility to customer satisfaction. The authors disburse questionare to 100 respondents who fill in questioner participation.. The result of research shows that, t-test for each independent variable has an influence on customer satisfaction. The result of F-test shows that the F count of 59.992, this means that there is influencing together which are product, price, location, promotion, people, process and infrastructure, to customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The present study aims to investigate the influence of financial performanceof the stock prices on food and beverage industries in the Indonesia StockExchange that are Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), TotalAssets Turnover (TATO), and Net Profit Margin (NPM).This study usedsecondary data that obtained from the financial statements of IndonesianCapital Market Directory (ICMD) based on the publication of the IndonesiaStock Exchange. The sample used in this study were enterprises food andbeverage industries listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011 – 2015.The data were analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis.Theresults of this study indicated that there was significant effect simultaneouslybetween financial performance [Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio(DER), Total Assets Turnover (TATO), and Net Profit Margin (NPM)] towardthe stock prices on food and beverage industries in Indonesia stockExchange in 2011 - 2015. While partially showed that of the fourindependent variables, which indicated the presence of significant influencewere Current Ratio (CR), Total Assets Turnover (TATO), and Net ProfitMargin (NPM) to the stock prices on food and beverage industries inIndonesia stock Exchange in 2011-2015.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know and analyze the influence of leadership, communication in organization and motivation not only jointly but also partially for employee performance of Local Government of Ogan Komering Ilir Design which used in this research is korelasional design. The sample which used in this research is cluster sampling of 4 agencies in Local Government of Ogan Komering Ilir to get data which can deputize agency and employee which connected to: health agency, education agency, and income agency, finance and asset local area. The number of existing employees at the fourth agencies is 317 employees. The method which used in this research is slovin method 0f 76 employees. From this research, there are Y Regression = 0,164 + 0,467X1 + 0,849X2 + 0,364X3 which value of R = 0,891 and Square of R = 0,794. From the calculation of hypothesis conclude that leadership, communication in organization and motivation jointly influence employee performance of Local Government of Ogan Komering Ilir which value of sig.F = 0,00. From the calculation of hypothesis conclude that each variables have value of sig.t, leadership = 0,018, communication in organization = 0,000 and motivation = 0,029 lower than value of ? = 0,05. It can conclude that leadership, communication in organization and motivation partially influence for employee performance of Local Government of Ogan Komering Ilir

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effect of the work environment (X1), motivation (X2) and Leadership (X3) on Employee Performance Agency for Family Planning and Women Empowerment Musi Banyuasin, either jointly or partially. Taken together with the results obtained Fhitung F test of 42.178 is greater than the F table 2.883, significant F value of 0.000 which is less than ? (0.05), with the results explained that the work environment (X1), Motivation ( X2) and Leadership (X3) significantly affect the performance (Y). In the t-test with variable motivation (X2) thitung results obtained by 1.957 which is smaller than the TTable 2.032, significant value of 0.060 t greater than the value of ? (0.05), with the result explains that motivation (X2) does not affect to Performance (Y). In the Work Environment variable (X1) and Leadership (X3) obtained thitung results obtained for 2.118 and 4.545 greater than 2.032 ttabel, significant values of 0.043 and 0.041 t smaller than the value of ? (0.05), with the result explained that the Working Environment (X1) and Leadership (X3) partially significant effect on performance (Y). Through determination test in the study found that the performance of (Y) can be explained by work environment (X1), motivation (X2), and the leadership (X3) has amounted to 80.8%, while the remaining 19.2% is explained by other factors not included in this study.

Abstract

This study related with the attitudes and purchases intention as a form of disclosure consumer needs and wants. This study, important issues about health consciousness and food safety concerns associated with organic food. Linkage the four variables in a research model of health consciousness and food safety concerns as exogenous, consumer attitudes as an intervening/mediator variable, and the consumers intention to buy organic food as an endogenous variable. Sample as many as 96 people, selected by convenience sampling and involve potential consumers who have never bought or certain dishes made from organic foods. Data were analyzed with regression analysis and the data processing program SPSS version 17.0 was able to prove that the consumer attitude as an intervening variable purely for health consciousness and consumers intention. While the food safety concerns can be a positive influence, directly or indirectly (through attitude) to the consumers intention to buy organic food.

Abstract

Information tecnology is devloping rapidly in recent years. As a result of the rapid devlopment of information tecnology. communication tools also grown rapidly as well. One of brand communications media operators that dominate indonesia consumer market is Simpati. This study want to find out where the product quality and price influenceon consumer satisfacation. Sample of 73 respondent used student faculty of economics Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang. The data was obtained by distributing questionnarie to the respondents directly. Analysis tools used in this study where factor analysis. Result showed that after rotation of component matric, then the component 1 contains 10 in new variable are a variablepevormance, prime card, convenience,featurs, pride the active priode information  nsp 12, toll-free and pulse the internet. While telephone and SMS pulse component are not influence in this one. While the components contain only four variable multikolinieritas test, Where the fourth variable has a high correlation. Overall, the dimensions of the product and the price has a positive impact on customer  satisfaction
