Abstract

Studies on the identity are being learned widely, mostly focus on specific groups. The reality we face today is shows the different conditions, because Indonesia has Pancasila as the state philosophy that clearly asserts the motto of "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika". Actually, the spirit that brought ethnic diversity want to be placed in a proper understanding in order to avoid inter-ethnic conflict. The thought has not been led to reform the nation's cultural identity because the implementation is still far from reality. Eddie Lembong (2013) created the „Cross Culture Fertilization‟ concept or „The Cross-fertilization of Culture‟ idea of Paul Monroe (1928), while the form of the pollination contemplated in the process of cross-cultural thinking involves human interaction with a particular context. It needs to be enhanced by adopting the Rosenau‟s idea (2004) about the cultural hybridity in which the establishment of a culture based on the complexity of the dimensions of a person's life. The tangible implementation of cultural hybridity as a mirror of pluralistic nation identity exemplified through observation on the case studies and mass media of a national movie entitled “Tanda Tanya” ("Question Mark"). Abstract

Penyandang disabilitas merupakan salah satu kelompok minoritas di dunia yang masih mengalami diskriminasi. Melihat hal tersebut, Convention on The Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) hadir di tahun 2006 dan berperan sebagai konvensi internasional penegak hak-hak penyandang disabilitas. Lima tahun sejak CRPD berlaku, Pemerintah Indonesia memutuskan untuk meratifikasi konvensi tersebut. Tindakan yang diambil oleh Pemerintah Indonesia tersebut menuntut pemerintah pusat maupun pemerintah daerah untuk mengimplementasikannya secara menyeluruh. Tujuan penelitian iniadalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi Convention on The Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) dalam aspek aksesibilitas fasilitas transportasi publik di DKI Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan wawancara mendalam pada para pelaksana CRPD dan pengguna jasalayanan tersebut. Hail penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa implementasi CRPD terkait aksesibilitas fasilitas transportasi publik di DKI Jakarta dilakukan melalui pembuatan peraturan daerah sesuai dengan CRPD dan adanya program layanan Transjakarta Cares yang diberikan oleh PT Transjakarta pada tahun 2016. Dengan adanya Transjakarta Cares ini sangat membantu para penyandang disabilitas mendapatkan hak nya untuk memperoleh aksesibilitas transportasi yang aksesibel.Kata kunci: Implementasi, CRPD, aksesibilitas, fasilitas transportasi publik

Abstract

This article will provide a study of the concepts of conflict and negotiation in various scientificperspectives, which in this context will be seen from the perspective of architecture, sociology, technologyand communication. Each perspective has its own perspective in defining and operationalizing a conceptof conflict and negotiation, since each formal object of the scientific study has different ontologicalorigins. For this reason through this article will be a basic topic development from various angles ofscientific theories that will give a picture of the tradition of each of the scholars. For this reason, acomprehensive discussion of theoretical approaches to the basic topics of conflict and negotiation isrequired. So in this article the discussion will be divided into two big skeletons. The first will discuss thestudy of each discipline and its relation to communication. From several perspectives of architecture,sociology, and technology will be presented one by one epistemologis and study. Then from eachperspective linked red thread with the tradition of communication science. The second major frameworkwill address topics of conflict and negotiation from the various angles of the scholarship. After theprevious discussion has been presented scientific approach, then will be dissected one by one how thescientific approach sees conflict and negotiation. Not only defining the concept of conflict andnegotiation, the discussion will also link between each scientific perspective in conflict resolution throughnegotiation methods. Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an external activity of a corporate undertaken for the benefit of society. It is expected to facilitate good relationship between the corporate and society. The purpose of this research is to describe Corporate Social Responsibility activity in favor of improving education in society. Research method was using an approach of qualitative descriptive in the case of PT. Pertamina Refinery Unit VI Balongan. Data was collected through conducting in-depth interview, observing, and implementing FGD. The results showed that CSR activity was very beneficial to local society as many of them were be able to continue higher education. Furthermore, local government also found out that CSR has a measurable good impact in local human development index. A long-term goal of CSR is to develop quality human resources to sustain a better life for all. Keywords: Corporate Social Responsibility, Society, Education

Abstract

New media or convergence, in a few years we often hear, especially the convergence of media that are often associated with new media that is now developing, particularly media-related technology development. The rapidly of media convergence growthto advances in technology these days, especially when the advent of the Internet and the digitization of information. This media convergence brings together the name "three-C" (computing, communication, and content). Once of product a media convergence is transmediaa, in the paradigm of Transmedia, no longer known specific profession. Eg profession as creators of the film, director, screenwriter, animator, producer of the TV program, game creators, content developers, comic artist, broadcaster, author, novelist even journalists. Everything sublimate into a new capacity, the Story Teller. Selection of the research issue at Volkswagon simulation of interactive digital advertising is a new study in the field of advertising in Indonesia, especially on the concept of transmedia storytelling approach to advertising and media convergence. This study use qualitative research approach. While research method used in this research is the method of observation with descriptive type. Data collection techniques in this study using advertising document observation that in this case the advertisement print of Volkswagen Augmented Reality and literature studies / literature. From the results of research conducted can be obtained conclusion that the power of Transmedia Storytelling on this Volkwagon print reinforces a story. The impact is that consumers will be more emotionally attached to the main products and variants and derivatives. The concept of transmedia storytelling advertising can be effective in the process of imaging and delivery of advertising messages, so that the audience can engage fully in augmented reality.. Abstract

AbstrakMedia online memiliki banyak kelebihan dalam menyampaikan berita kepada khalayak, salah satunya adalah kecepatan berita yang jauh melampaui media konvensional seperti surat kabar. Pemberitaan di media online dipengaruhi oleh ideologi dan ekonomi politik media yang terlihat dari framing berita yang dilakukan oleh media.Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif, maksudnya yaitu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pemgumpulan informasi aktual secara rinci yang  melukiskan gejala yang ada.      Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan analisis framing ini ialah bahwa pada pemberitaan bergabungnya Hary Tanoesoedibjo ke dalam Partai Hanura , Okezone.com menunjukkan keberpihakkan kepada kepentingan pemiliknya. Okezone.com menjadi corong politik Hary Tanoesoedibjo dalam melakukan pemberitaan seputar bergabungnya Hary Tanoesoedibjo. Dengan membuat berita-berita yang menunjukkan citra positif sosok Hary Tanoesoedibjo. Sementara, Metrotvnews.com yang kepemilikannya dimiliko oleh kelompok lain, cenderung sama ingin memunjukkan sosok pemilik media yang di miliki oleh Metrotvnews.com dengan memberitakan berita yang cenderung berbeda dari pemberitaan Okezone.com.Berdasarkan temuan penelitian itu, peneliti memiliki kesimpulan bahwa Okezone.com dalam pemberitaan seputar bergabungnya Hary Tanosoedibjo ke dalam Partai Hanura, berada dalam kekuasaan politik Hary Tanoesoedibjo selaku pemilik media . okezone.com menjadi alat kampanye politik sekaligus corong bagi  kepentingan Partai Hanura untuk mempopulerkan Partainya dan membangun citra sebagai anggota pemilu 2014. Sementara Metrotvnews.com tidak berada dalam bayang-bayang kekuasaan politik Hary Tanoesoedibjo, karena dalam pemberitaan nya Metrotvnews.com kerap mendiskritikan Hary Tanosoedibjho sebagai tokoh politik Partai Hanura dengan stikma yang di buat oleh Metrotvnews.com.Kata kunci : Kepemilikan media, kepentingan politik, analisis framing.

Abstract

Dalam setiap kegiatan interaksi yang dilakukan manusia, pesan dan muatan komunikasi membawa dampak yang signifikan terhadap khalayak. Demikian pula dengan hadirnya iklan sebagai medium penghantar pesan yang dikemas sebaik mungkin antar kreator iklan sebagai komunikator kepada para komunikannya. Orientasi mendasar dari penelitian ini hendak menelusuri Iklan Grab Official yang diunggah pada Youtube sejak Bulan November 2017 yang bertajuk “Luangkan Waktu Untuknya yang Selalu Ada Untukmu!” melalui Teori Dimensi Budaya yang dicetuskan oleh Hofstede. Grab hadir menyibak fenomena transportasi online yang menyimpan sekelumit cerita pro-kontra di masyarakat,namun moda pengangkut orang ini justru kian digemari karena mampu menjawab kebutuhan akan tingginya mobilitas sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menemukan dinamika dimensi budaya melalui apresiasi Grab bagi para pelanggannya dalam iklan yang mengekspresikan identitas Indonesia melalui relasi diadik antara Ayah dan anaknya tersebut pada empat dari enam dimensi. Dua dimensi tersisa secara konsisten ditemukan pada sebagian besar potongan gambar adegan iklan, interpretasi peneliti ini sejalan dengan prinsip Hofstede Insight untuk mayoritas prosentase dimensi budaya Negara Indonesia.Kata Kunci: Ekspresi Identitas, Relasi, Youtube, Grab Official

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Komunikasi Bisnis pada Etnis Tionghoa (Studi Kasus di Warung Kopi Asiang,Pontianak, Kalimantan Barat). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi yangterbentuk dari konsumen yang datang dalam pandangan Komunikasi bisnis Etnis Tionghoa. MetodePenelitian yang digunakan adalah Metode Penelitian Kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasusfenomenologi dan hermeneutika. Fenomenologi merupakan pandangan berfikir yang menekankan padapengalaman subjektif manusia, dan hermeneutika melengkapinya sebagai hermeneutika fenomenologis,yang beranggapan bahwa pemahaman teks harus dibiarkan berdiri sendiri tanpa adanya prasangka danperspektif dari dari penafsir. Oleh sebab itu, menafsirkan sebuah teks berarti secara metodologismengisolasikan teks dari semua hal yang tidak ada hubungannya, termasuk bias-bias subjek penafsir danmembiarkannya mengomunikasikan maknanya sendiri pada subjek. Dalam studi penelitian ini, penelitiberusaha untuk mengetahui kenapa dan menjelaskan bagaimana jalinan komunikasi bisnis di warung kopiAsiang dan dengan keunikan serta aktivasi yang dilakukan oleh pemilik dan tamu dari Warung KopiAsiang. Dalam penelitian fenomenologi ini, peneliti tidak memiliki asumsi apa-apa mengenai bisnis yangdijalankan di Warung Kopi Asiang, tidak menyimpulkan secara langsung mengenai bisnis yangdijalankan di Warung Kopi tersebut sebelum meneliti dan mendialogkannya dengan cermat. Hasil daripenelitian ini adalah motif-motif yang mendorong pemilik warung kopi Asiang dan tamunya dalammelakukan interaksi bisnis antara lain adalah motif ekonomi dan motif sosial (kepuasan pelanggan). Motif Ekonomi adalah motif yang didasari pada oleh pemenuhan kebutuhan hidup secara jangka pendekmaupun jangka panjang yang baik.Kata Kunci: Komunikasi, Bisnis, Etnis, Tionghoa

Abstract

AbstrakCurrently the development of on-line world of social media in Indonesia is very rapid. Now even online social media becomes an integral part of society. In addition to the ease of getting the network, the price is more affordable for most people. Unfortunately, the availability of facilities and infrastructure is not accompanied by the readiness of regulation capable of managing communication through social media. Without a rule that organizes and directs users online media resulted in the omission of the online media communities. This situation is exacerbated when directly ahead of the 2014 presidential election through the smear campaign and criticizes each other, mutual blasphemous, to the speech of hatred. Unfortunately, despite the elections have passed, but the use of "hateful speech" did not pass it even more and be so.Law No. 11 of 2008 on Electronic transaction, Government Regulation No.82 of 2012 on the Implementation of the System and Electronic Transactions, had long existed and has been treated even used in criminal cases involving the use of online media. But the proliferation of hate speech and even showed to an incumbent president makes everyone frustrated. Legal action taken is still too little and tends to be selective. Finally the Chief of Police issued a circular No. 6/X/15 the direction for members of the Police prioritize education efforts, mediation, and reconcile disputing parties to prevent collective hatred, exclusion, discrimination and violence. Key word: communication, on-line media, hatred speech

Abstract

Today more prevalent events in the television talk show with the theme and nature that is differentevents. Talk Show is a blend of art and engineering stage journalistic interview. Talk Show it seems tostill be one of the events most in demand by audiences in Indonesia and for the segments and themestaken can also vary. Mata Najwa event at Metro TV including one flagship talk show program. Talkshow is one of the works of journalism that discusses the hot issues in which a work of journalismmust fulfill the terms of journalistic work. This study aims to determine the extent of compliance to thecontent of the talk show Mata Najwa with the terms of the journalistic work of the period 18 Februaryto 29 April 2015. The paradigm used in this research is the paradigm of positivism, the approach usedis quantified by the method of content analysis and research which is a descriptive study thatillustrates just do not generalize. Results of this study stated that of the 10 samples of the news, in thecategory of terms work jurnalistikterdapat 7 news (70%) that meets the requirements of journalisticwork well, 3 samples (30%) did not meet the requirements of journalistic work well, especially inWarm problem categories, the actual, unbiased and balanced. 1 among the 3 samples that do not meetthe requirements of journalistic work well is the news that did not meet the category of trust of viewersbecause it is considered that given the lack of in-depth information and siding.Keywords: Talk Show, Media Television, and Journalism
