Abstract

In order to carry out their duties and responsibilities, a teacher is required to have certain abilities and skills. These abilities and skills are part of the teacher's professional competence. To make the teacher as a professional, it is necessary to carry out continuous and continuous coaching, and to make the teacher a workforce that needs to be considered, valued and recognized for professionalism. Teacher performance will be good if the teacher has done the elements that consist of loyalty and high commitment to the task of teaching, mastering and developing learning materials, discipline in teaching and other assignments, creativity in teaching, collaboration with all school members, leadership that student role models, good personality, honest and objective in guiding students, and responsibility for their duties. In addition to performance, the motivation of teachers to carry out their duties and responsibilities is also important for efforts to improve the learning process that will improve the quality of graduates in the school. This research is a school action research subject of 12 teachers. This study consisted of two cycles. The results of the study show that the supervision of the principal can increase teacher motivation and performance in SD Negeri 04 Talaok, District of Bayang, South Coastal District.

Abstract

To improve the educational quality is an importan attemp that should be done by all Indonesian and government. The bundles of educational problems have to be solved and distributed not only to the municipal  government but also to the prefectural government and the stakeholders of education. The distribution of task and responbility on the improvement of educational quality cannot be done automatically without stakeholders’ comprehension and understanding of the importance of educational improvement. But, teachers and school principal at least can do much when the stakeholdersgive much attention and prosperity to make them better life and more professional. In addition, the concept of school based management should be implemented soon to support the decentralization of educational management. It hopefully could make more effective beurocracy. However, it has to be implement wisely and carefully to avoid wider corruption, collusion, and nepotism at the local and root level.

Abstract

Anak adalah titipan dari Tuhan yang diberikan kepada suatu keluarga. Keluarga harus memberikan kasih sayang dan pendidikan yang baik untuk anak. Orangtua mempunyai peranan penting dalam pembentukan kepribadian maupun perkembangan anak. Tindakan orangtua dalam memberikan kasih sayang dan pendidikan tentang nilai-nilai kehidupan  agama maupun sosial budaya yang diberikan, merupakan perlakuan yang tepat untuk mempersiapkan anak menjadi pribadi yang baik. Orangtua berperan sebagai guru pertama bagi anak. Cara berpikir dan tingkah laku anak dipengaruhi oleh didikan orangtua yang akan membentuk kepribadian anak. Kenyataannya ditemukan persoalan keluarga antara anak dan orangtua. Salah satunya sikap over protective orangtua terhadap anak. Over protective merupakan bentuk perlindungan yang berlebihan yang diberikan kepada anak. Sebenarnya orangtua bersikap seperti itu karena sangat menyayangi dan takut jika anaknya terjadi hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan, tetapi sikap orangtua tersebut terkadang salah diartikan oleh anak sehingga anak merasa terbebani dan dapat memperngaruhi perkembangan.

Abstract

This research started from reality at school that in learning process learners just sit, silence, listen, and record material submitted by a teacher. This is because teachers are less able to develop learning models that can enable learners optimally in the learning process. As a result, learners are often not excited and feel saturated in learning, so that the learning outcomes are low. To improve the activity and learning outcomes of learners in IPS learning done PTK by using the STAD type cooperative model. STAD type cooperative model is a learning model that puts learners in groups of five or six students. This research was conducted in class V SDN 36 Rangeh Kecamatan Lengayang, with the number of students 27 people. From the results of research conducted it can be concluded that by using STAD type cooperative learning model can improve the activity and learning outcomes of learners in learning social studies in class V SDN 36 Rangeh Kecamatan Lengayang.

Abstract

This study used Classroom Action Research conducted in Kindergarten Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfal Kajai. This research was conducted for 2 months, namely as many as 2 cycles, namely cycle I consisted of 3 meetings and cycle II consisted of 3 meetings. Data collection with observation, interviews, and documentation were analyzed by percentage techniques. The results of observations in the initial conditions showed that children's scientific abilities were still low. The implementation of the first cycle of the first meeting to the third shows an increase in children's scientific abilities, but has not yet reached the KKM so that the second cycle is carried out. After the second cycle, the first meeting until the third meeting saw a significant increase in children's scientific abilities, especially in terms of children's abilities. Based on these studies it can be concluded that there is an increase in children's scientific abilities through the Science approach by playing Color Water at Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfal Kajai Kindergarten, Regency of West Pasaman.

Abstract

Makalah ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah pembelajaran seni kriya di SMP dengan menggunakan teknik pemodelan berbasis pendekatan saintifik. Makalah ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dan hasil analisis tinjauan pustaka. Adapun konsep-konsep yang digunakan dalam makalah ini meliputi: batasan pembelajaran seni, hakikat seni kriya, dan contoh penerapan teknik pemodelan berbasis pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran seni budaya di SMP.

Abstract

Konsep diri adalah pandangan atau pemahaman seseorang tentang dirinya sendiri, baik tentang kemampuan atau prestasi fisik. Pada zaman sekarang banyak remaja yang belum memahami konsep diri. Pada kenyataannya konsep diri sangat dibutuhkan dalam kegiatan sehari-hari para remaja. Untuk mengembangkan konsep diri tersebut, tentunya banyak pihak yang berperan penting dan salah satunya adalah guru BK. Guru BK dapat membantu remaja dalam mengembangkan konsep diri yang dimiliki remaja. Remaja yang memiliki konsep diri rendah perlu mendapat perhatian khusus dan pelayanan dari guru BK dengan cara mengembangkan konsep diri ke arah yang lebih positif agar dapat berprestasi di sekolah, tidak hanya di bidang akademik tetapi juga di bidang keterampilan.

Abstract

This research originated from the fact in elementary school that learning is often dominated by teachers as a source of information. The problem is caused by the teacher's learning is more delivery by using the lecture method, so that students become passive listeners. The value of learning comprehension of IPA by using the contextual approach in cycle I and cycle II have increased, where the mastery learning cycle, I students with an average of 64% and in the cycle II is 93%. In addition, students have been trained to find out, test it in study groups and then communicate it to other friends. Thus it can be concluded that the learning of science using a contextual approach can improve student learning outcome's class VI SDN 45 Jambak Kecamatan Bayang.

Abstract

Pendekatan teoretik dalam Konseling dengan menggunakan Pendekatan behavioristic banyak mendapatkan kritik tetapi sekaligus  juga memberikan dukungan. Kritik yang ditujukan kepada pendekatan behavioristik difokuskan pada carapandang terhadap manusia yang berimplikasi pada teknik-teknik konseling yangdigunakan. Perkembangan pendekatan behavioristik kontemporer berusaha untukmenempatkan manusia dalam dimensi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan konsep tentang manusiapada awal kemunculan behavioristik. Oleh karena itu pendekatan behavioristik menjadi salahsatuunggulan pendekatan yang masih dominan dalam konseling dan psikoterapi. Perkembangan selanjutnya pendekatan ini memiliki pengaruh dominanasi besar dalam target konseling untukmencapaiperubahan pikiran, perasaan dan perilaku.

Abstract

Pelajaran Bahasa  Inggris  sering dianggap sukar oleh sebahagian besar siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil belajar (ulangan harian) siswa semester 2 kelas VII.2 Tahun Pelajaran 2015 - 2016. dengan rata –rata yang tidak tuntas KKM. Oleh sebab itu seorang guru harus bias memilih dan menggunakan strategi mengajar yang cocok supaya dapat memotivasi siswa. Salah satu strategi yang dapat digunakan adalah metode Model Pembelajaran Cooperative Script.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil Belajar Bahasa Inggris Siswa SMP Negeri 1 Nan Sabaris pada Kelas VII.2  TP.2015/2016, dengan Strategi Model Pembelajaran Cooperative Script. Adapun hipotesis yang dikemukakan adalah Pertama, nilai Bahasa Inggris siswa kelas VII.2  SMP Negeri 1 Nan Sabaris TP.2015/2016. Kedua, Penggunaan Strategi Model Pembelajaran Cooperative Script dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Inggris Siswa
