Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyse the effects of job satisfaction and work stress on shipping safety with job performance of seafarers being intervening variable. Using these variables, for instance Parker et al (2002), discovered effect job satisfaction and work stress toward job performance of seafarers to increase shipping safety. The study was conducted at Tangerang Merchant Marine Collegues (TMMC), the sample size is 93 seafarers who work in many shipping company. Data is processed using Path Analysis which assisted by application program of Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 25.0. The results show that job satisfaction has directed effect to 3,24% of job performance of seafarers and work stress has directed effect to 66,59% of job performance of seafarers. While job satisfaction has indirect effect to 17,87% of shipping safety through job performance of seafarers and work stress has indirect effect to 81,03% of shipping safety through job performance of seafarers, job performance of seafarers has directed effect to 98% of shipping safety. The results from Path Analysis indicated that work stress is higher effect on job performance of seafarers than job satisfaction and job performance of seafarers is the highest directly effect on shipping safety.

Abstract

Changes in profit are used by stakeholders to determine the company's previous financial performance. high profit changes indicate that financial performance is good so that it helps investors in making decisions. The population was taken by pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange in the 2017-2021 period as many as 12 companies and getting a sample of 8 pharmaceutical companies. The program used in this study to process data using IBM SPSS 25. The results of this research test indicate that only the t-test of Net Profit Margin has a significant effect on changes in earnings, three other variables such as current ratio, DAR, GPM have no effect on changes in earnings. The results of the F test state that the independent variables Current ratio, Net Profit Margin, DAR, and GPM have a significant effect on the dependent variable of Profit Change. And the result of the coefficient of determination test is 0.205 which shows that as much as 20.5% of the independent variables make a fairly effective contribution to profit changes. While the remaining 80.5% is controlled by other factors listed in this study.

Abstract

The availability of goods becomes one of the keys to the success of supermarket business in fulfilling consumer needs. The Forecasting methods can help to predict the sales in the future and it can help to find sales statistics daily, monthly or yearly. The application of exponential smoothing requires the process of determining the smoothing value by performing several tests. The determination of smoothing is a challenge in the forecasting process because it takes several tests of the optimal smoothing value to reduce forecasting errors. This study proposed the application of the golden section in optimizing the determination of the smoothing value. Golden section is an optimization method that provides extreme values ??of a non-linear function by reducing the range of values ??that contain extreme values. The results of the Forecasting method were based on the training data in which the trend and the result of the forecasting approached to the training data that used for forecasting. According to the results of the forecasting which conducted based on the training data was MAPE 26.460474 % and MAPE results from comparison of testing data obtained was 21.89696%.

Internal auditors often face ethical dilemmas that can challenge them from the standard. This study examines ethical dilemmas and gaps in the work of QA in carrying out audits at Bank BTPN in the Jember area. Phenomenology transcendental Hussler analysis method with two respondents with Noema, Noesis, Epoche, Intentional analysis, and Eidetic Reduction. The results showed that respondents realized that ethical dilemmas deviate from the company's SOPs. To anticipate this, the resource persons are professional, objective, and independent in their assignments. Both establish good communication, maintain emotions politely and openly. The results of the second respondent, ethical dilemmas are understood as inner conflicts, the incidence of denial of findings, the nature of being adamant about being fitting and emotional ties with the auditee are very well understood. Abstract

The government has regulated the quality assurance of education in Law Number 19 of 2005 concerning National Education Standards as an educational policy and innovation that must be applied to all levels of education. This research applies qualitative descriptive methods and approaches to examine social conditions, and phenomena by means of description. The data analysis used by researchers is the analysis of initial data in the field, data analysis while in the field, and data analysis after in the field. The data collection procedure in this study went through 3 stages, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The source of the data was obtained by researchers directly from the madrasah leaders, both madrasah heads and deputy heads of madrasahs and administrative departments which can be categorized as primary data and secondary data. The results of the study revealed that MTsN-2 Tapanuli Tengah has implemented national education standards properly, optimally, and optimally. The curriculum innovation used is also in accordance with government policy, namely the 2013 curriculum which focuses on students interests, talents, and abilities, this aims to improve self-development in students and prepare high-quality students.

Abstract

The Balinese rindik gamelan is a traditional Balinese music that has a function as a balih-balihan art or as entertainment among the people during the royal era and has the same function until now. The simple rindik gamelan technique will produce a harmonious and melodious composition of tones, so that it acts as a stimulus carrier that can affect psychology and mood for the listener. This condition is caused by stress levels and energy levels. According to the mood theory by Thayer, music with positive stress levels and low energy refers to a pleasant (calm) mood, while positive stress levels and high energy levels refer to a happy (happy) mood. This study applies a branch of data mining, namely Music Information Retrieval (MIR) by classifying gamelan rindik labels based on the mood of the K-Nearest Neighbor strategy method. The algorithm is suitable to be implemented in nonlinear data sets such as music/song data, because the class decision line generated by K-NN is flexible. The data used are pieces of music files in mono .wav format with a duration of 20 seconds, which are then classified using the K-NN algorithm by the system. The resulting output is in the form of a mood label, namely satisfaction or joy. The results of the test using the confusion matrix obtained the percentage of classification accuracy 81%, recall 90.5%, precision 76%, and F-score 82.6% to find the average harmonic precision and recall. When compared with tests with accuracy, the same accuracy results are obtained, namely 81% or the best accuracy at a value of k = 7 and the fastest processing time is 0.0258 seconds.
