Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyse the effects of job satisfaction and work stress on shipping safety with job performance of seafarers being intervening variable. Using these variables, for instance Parker et al (2002), discovered effect job satisfaction and work stress toward job performance of seafarers to increase shipping safety. The study was conducted at Tangerang Merchant Marine Collegues (TMMC), the sample size is 93 seafarers who work in many shipping company. Data is processed using Path Analysis which assisted by application program of Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 25.0. The results show that job satisfaction has directed effect to 3,24% of job performance of seafarers and work stress has directed effect to 66,59% of job performance of seafarers. While job satisfaction has indirect effect to 17,87% of shipping safety through job performance of seafarers and work stress has indirect effect to 81,03% of shipping safety through job performance of seafarers, job performance of seafarers has directed effect to 98% of shipping safety. The results from Path Analysis indicated that work stress is higher effect on job performance of seafarers than job satisfaction and job performance of seafarers is the highest directly effect on shipping safety.

Abstract

Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok merupakan pelabuhan terbesar dan tersibuk di Indonesia, sehingga resiko pencemaran limbah di wilayah perairan pelabuhan sangat besar. Pihak penyelenggara pelabuhan kemudian menerapkan Port Waste Management System (PWMS). Tujuan utamanya adalah untuk memperkecil dan mengurangi pembungan limbah secara ilegal dari kapal ke laut. Hasil analisis data yang diperoleh menampilkan persentase data limbah kapal dari Agustus 2021 hingga Mei 2022 menampilkan persentase 96%. Sedangkan persentase jumlah kapal yang mengisi data limbah kapalnya nol menampilkan persentase 3%. Pengguna jasa cukup tertib dalam melaporkan data limbah kapalnya berdasarkan persentase jumlah kapal yang mengisi di Port Waste Management System (PWMS) dinyatakan stabil pada angka 96%. Hal tersebut juga menjadikan salah satu tolak ukur penerapan Port Waste Management System (PWMS) telah berjalan dengan efektif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada saat peneliti berada di Kantor Kesyahbandaran Utama Tanjung Priok dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi langsung, wawancara dengan staff Kantor Kesyahbandaran Utama Tanjung Priok dan pengguna jasa serta pengumpulan dokumen-dokumen yang terkait dengan penelitian.

Abstract

Direktorat Perkapalan dan Kelautan meluncurkan aplikasi bernama SIMKAPEL (Sistem informasi Perkapalan dan Kelautan) dalam rangka memperbaiki dan meningkatkan kinerja untuk menjamin keselamatan pelayaran di era keterbukaan informasi dan digitalisasi. Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Laut melalui Direktorat Perkapalan dan Kepelautan meluncurkan aplikasi Sistem Informasi Perkapalan dan Kepelautan (SIMKAPEL). Aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi untuk mempercepat pelayanan di industri pelayaran. Dengan dasar ini penulis merumuskan tentang bagaimana pengaruh aplikasi simkapel terhadap pengurusan sertifikat keselamatan kapal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif yang menghasilkan data deskriptif statistik yang mengambil data dari kuisioner dan melalui data yang sudah ada. Penelitian dilakukan pada saat praktek darat dilakukan untuk mendapatkan data melalui riset lapangan, dalam hal ini penulis mengumpulkan data berupa pendekatan terhadap objek melalui observasi serta menggunakan dokumen dan data-data yang berhubungan dengan pengurusan sertikat keselamatan kapal.

Abstract

The BLU (Public Service Agency) higher education financial management system provides opportunities for agencies to manage and maximize assets for various activities within the scope of educational substance. The Banten Sailing Polytechnic's Achievement Beach Edutourism has been open since 2020 as an implementation of the SDGs goals to contribute to improving the quality of education, environmental protection and improving the community's economy. The development of edutourism located to the north of the campus area with a 1 km long landscape is expected to be able to support the preservation of the coastal environment and increase participation from the surrounding community. The aim of this research is to examine edutourism development strategies based on SWOT analysis. This research uses a survey and interview method, collection data includes primary data and secondary data. The study was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner. Observations aspects include; assessing natural tourist objects and attractions, biological attractions, physical attractions, socio-cultural attractions, accessibility, socio-economic environmental conditions of communities around the area, management and services, accommodation, supporting facilities and infrastructure, relationships with tourist attractions in the area. surroundings and safety factors. Based on the SWOT analysis results of Banten Polytechnic Achievement Beach Eduwisata SWOT analysis, the development strategy is in quadrant I position which can be interpreted as meaning that this area has the potential to be developed more optimally. Achievement Beach Eduwisata has strengths and opportunities that can cover existing weaknesses and threats, so the development strategy should prioritize expand opportunities to become a new source of strength.
