Abstract

The Vigenere algorithm is one of the classic encryption algorithms that is easy to understand and apply in the process of securing information. By using the vigenere table we can easily read messages that have been encrypted. However, the vigenere algorithm is also an algorithm that is difficult to solve, this is because to be able to solve a cipher text, a key is needed. With a character transition technique based on the sequence of characters in a certain key so that the transition form of the character becomes unstable and difficult to guess. The vigenere method in general is still not optimal because it only relies on keys to secure information, while the vigenere table used is still a standard alphabet that has been applied by vigenere and is still incase sensitive or case sensitive. In this study we will maximize the use of the vigenere algorithm by randomizing the predetermined vigenere alphabet table so that a key and table form are needed to be able to solve a ciphertext

Abstract

It is undeniable that online shopping is the choice of many people during the pandemic, because online shopping is an easy and safe solution for people who are required to carry out social distancing by the government. Jiniso Official shop is one of the online stores that currently sell through Shopee. This study was conducted to categorize and analyze customer views of the product by using Jiniso product review data from the comments column on the Shopee application. In this study, researchers will utilize the text mining process using classification techniques, the algorithm that will be used is the Naive Bayes algorithm. Naive Bayes allows classification based on the assumption of separate conditions between the predicted attributes of a particular class. For this reason, the Naive Bayes Classifier is a very competent classification, it works quite well in classification tasks so many researchers are trying to improve the performance of Naive Bayes [3]. The results of sentiment analysis using NBC produces an accuracy rate of 0.941747572815534 or 94%. From the results of this study, positive sentimental reviews can be used as a reference to maintain things that make customers feel satisfied. while negative reviews can be used as motivation to improve services and products.

Abstract

This investigation was aiming to find out how students utilize Free Online Machine Translation (FOMT), and the reasons understudies utilize FOMT as a language-learning tool in perusing the scholarly article. The researcher applied descriptive qualitative research. These inquiries were conducted within the apprentice level of English learners. The members of this survey were 10 students. All of them were selected for the purpose of research. The observation took notes and video records were used to figure out who was using FOMT while reading the scholarly paper. Meanwhile, the interview section was presented with details about the reasons for students introducing the FOMT. The results of this study have shown that the participants employ FOMT as a reading tool in a number of different ways for the period of reading the scholarly paper. These approaches were divided into three parts; first, a word-to-word translation was used by six participants; second, a sentence-to-sentence translation was completed by six participants. Then, what is the frequency used by participants while assessing the FOMT types. In addition, there have been numerous reasons for participants using FOMT to support comprehension of the scholarly paper

Abstract

This research is conducted in Indonesia, precisely in Tegal City as an object that is currently increasing its regional competitiveness. Tegal City is a small city located on the north coast as an autonomous region with limited natural resources. The efforts made by Tegal city government to become a city branding to compete with the surrounding area are a formidable challenge. The local government of Tegal City which already has a branding with the distinctive language of the Ngapak-ngapak Tegalan and favors tourism on the north coast. Quality and reliable Information System Technology is easily accessible by the people of Tegal City and other areas, as well as the governance of Tegal City as a destination as an important variable to be researched. The sample used in this study was 100 users of Tegal city government information system and visitors to Tegal city walk who were determined by random sampling. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling by determining the characteristics according to the purpose of this study. Data collection techniques used in this study by providing a questionnaire containing written questions to be answered by respondents. The data from the questionnaire will be analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques with the help of the SPSS 25 program. The results of the study show the effect of the effectiveness of Information System Quality and City Walk Concept in building of Tegal City as City Branding.

Abstract

Digital library is a type of library that uses information and communication technology in its services. This is to meet the high level of public needs in accessing information in the globalization era. Digital libraries generally provide both online and offline services. Due to their strategic functions, it is crucial to know how digital libraries, especially those in universities, provide quality services so that educational goals can be achieved. This research examined the quality of digital library services using the LibQUAL+TM method with 4 measurement dimensions, namely Service Affect-SA, Library as Place-LP, Personal Control-PC, and Information Access-IA. The research was carried out with a qualitative descriptive method through interviews, observations, and documentation. The key respondents were selected usingthe purposive sampling technique, and the data were analyzed through 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study conclude that the dimensions of Service Affect-SA and Personal Control-PC are good, while the dimensions of Library as Place-LP and Information Access-IA have not been optimal. This shows that the capability to provide optimal services in a digital library does not only require competent human resources and high use of information technologybut also requires the provision of facilities, especially adequate collections of digital collections, and also adequate facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the students' difficulties in translating narrative texts from Indonesia to English in the third grade of SMPN 5 Percut Sei Tuan. This research employed the qualitative method as a research design. The analytical method is the interactive model: data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The researcher collected data through steps by analyzing the student's paper when translating the narrative text into English. The result of this study showed that there are five types of difficulties in translating text, namely: not transmitted (11,11%), incomplete without hearing the message (12,96%), grammar mistakes (35,18%), vocabulary mistakes (31,48%), and addition (9,25%). Based on the test of the students' translation, this research showed the students' difficulties in translating narrative text. It was difficult for the students to translate a text, and some just used their minds or logic to translate it. The author suggests that the teacher focuses on teaching the students about translation and improving their vocabulary so that they can use good English when translating a text into English and another language.

Abstract

Fulfillment of customer service is the company's priority in developing a digital service platform. Digital services with many users accessing, of course, require service applications to be able to be used optimally. Human-Computer (HCI) analysis, by focusing on usability aspects which include learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors, and satisfaction aspects, can be an analytical approach from the user's side of an application so that the application can become an application that follows user needs. This study applies HCI analysis to the Pospay application with 100 community respondents using a simple random sampling technique. The analysis results, especially on the user side based on the opinions of user respondents, shows that the Pospay application has implemented aspects of learnability, effectivity, memorability, and satisfaction well but has several drawbacks of the error.
