Abstract

To able to control the use of laboratory rooms, equipment that can control the access and monitoring the room is needed. This paper describes the room access controller which consist of the fingerprint R307 sensor, LCD, solenoid key, XBee ProS2C, and Arduino Mega 2560. The door room will open if the user has the autorization to open the door’s fingerprints scan. If the door is open then students can register their attendance by scanning their fingerprints. The door will be closed if the authorized user scan his fingerprints again. For each known fingerprint, the microcontroller will send the user ID number to the computer. In the central computer, the list of room users is recorded and saved on a file after the door is closed. With this experiment, the method obtained a tool that can control the access to the laboratory room and can monitor the use of three rooms on the monitoring computer. According to the test results, the tool has been able to control the access and monitor three rooms where the time for fingerprint scanning to be registered on the computer is 2 seconds at the fastest and success rate of scanning a fingerprint is 84.87% on average.

Abstract

Borax as a dangerous preservative has been informed by the government by prohibiting the use of borax to preserve food. The use of borax is specifically regulated and limited by national health and safety laws. In simple terms, borax can be recognized by its presence in food by using a toothpick covered with turmeric. Toothpicks that have been smeared with turmeric will turn yellow according to the color of the turmeric but will turn orange when they are pricked into processed meat foods such as meatballs, sausages, and nuggets that contain borax. This is because turmeric contains curcumin which can detect the presence of borax in food. After all, curcumin can break down the borax bonds into boric acid and bind it to a complex rosin compound or commonly known as a boron cyano curcumin complex. The results of testing samples taken from two supermarkets and three traditional markets using turmeric as a reagent and the medium were toothpicks showed that 74% of processed food, including meatballs, nuggets, and sausages, contained borax and 26% did not contain borax

Abstract

Every time players are assessed in terms of their performance on the field, players have the potential to compete for individual and team achievements in football, therefore a decision support system is made for the selection of the best premier league players in October 2020/2021. The 7 criteria for using the assessment include the number of goals, assists, kicks, wins, passes, fouls and plays time. In this study, there are three best player assessment methods, namely the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, the Preference Ranking Organization Method for Enrichment Evaluation (PROMETHEE), and the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). The use of three methods in the assessment provides a good comparison of accuracy compared to one method alone and also aims to assess concretely and accurately so that the assessment runs fairly. The making of the premier league best player selection system is programmed with PHP and uses a MySQL database that is useful for storing player data and scores.
