Abstract

Cultural identity of women with veil in the concept of the development of relationship with social ernironment perpetually becomes pros-and-cons phenomenon due to its accordance with the comprehension of religious symbols that is the wering of veil. The objectives were to recognize and describe the empirical reality of habluminannas concept that is the process of social interaction of women with veil. To comprehensively and deeply achieve these objectives, the methodology employed was descriptive qualitative research with in-depth interviews and observations (field research) as data collection techniques. The results show that the concept of habluminannas, that is social interaction of women with veil, is based on the essence of each need in daily social life. The process of interacting with other individuals both within the family and people in general depends on the interests and needs of each. Social interaction within the family is divided into two those are interaction that shows flexibility in communication and behavior patterns, and interaction that is closed and bounded. In the community, the process of social interaction that is associative process shows the flexibility of women with veil in the patterns of cooperation among citizens and relatives, mutual respect, and respect for the values ​​of decency and politeness. On the other hand, the attitude of acceptance by community in general towards women wearing veil is still not prevalent due to the negative stigma against the use of veils.

Abstract

This research was aiming to know the rule of atribution of creator to mandkind and its relation to the Qadariyah’s believes. This research used the library review methods by collecting the views of the scholars from the linguist of Arabic Langiage, Quran Interpreters, and generalist scholars which are have concern abaout the Islamic doctrines. The Result of The Research showed that of word al-khalqu in Arabic has two meanings, the first meaning is to put something out of nothingness to existance and the second is to invent or make or produce or transform of one nature into another. Therefore, the rule of this atribituon is depends on two conditions, the purpose of using the word “creator” and its object. If the word “creator” based on the second meaning, and the object is the things are still in human capacity and reasoning then the using is allowed. However, if those two conditions are not fulfilled, then the using is prohibited. Moreover, if the attribution is related to the human act and accompanied by the belief that there is no divine intervention and human is the main cause of his creation, then it is closely related to the Qadariyah understanding.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the concept of polygamy in Islam and to identify polygamy from the perspective of the Muslimah Wahdah Islamiyah's cadres in Makassar. The problems that the authors raise in this study are; First, what is the concept of polygamy in Islam. Second, what is the perspective of Muslimah Wahdah Islamiyah Makassar's cadres on polygamy. To find answers to these problems, the author employed a quantitative approach which is designed as survey research using a questionnaire for data collection. Then the understanding of the results of the analysis is interpreted descriptively. The results of the study found that the perspective of Muslimah Wahdah Islamiyah's cadres in Makassar on polygamy can be seen based on two things, namely the level of knowledge and understanding of the Muslimah Wahdah Islamiyah's cadres in Makassar towards polygamy which is in the medium category and the level of agreement of statements regarding the perceptions and attitudes of Muslimah Wahdah Islamiyah Makassar's cadres against polygamy which is classified as positive and falls into the "approved" category

Abstract

This study focused on the techniques of the Qur’an, which is particularly selected due to the vital importance of making use of the linguistic techniques and employing them in studying the linguistic techniques of the Qur’an which have convinced the majority of people to accept the principles of this religion, Islam, through their distinctive features which call attention to their research. Besides, there is a lack of studies which investigated and explained the formation and structures of the techniques of the Qur’an, the techniques we are in dire need of to address others. It is noticed that the previous Qur’anic studies have been more concerned with focusing many topics related to the sciences of the Qur'an but no study has examined the linguistic structures of the Qur’an. Much research has studied the techniques of the Qur’an; for instances some researchers investigated this topic independently such as al-Farahīin his book Asālib al-Qurān while others, like al-Zarkashī, just discussed it in part of his book, al-Burhān Fī‘Ulūm al-Qurān. Therefore, the present study investigates the approaches used by al-Zarkshahīand al-Farahīin studying the techniques of the Qur’an in their books related to the sciences of the Qur’an. To achieve the objectives of this study, the books related to the topic are collected and examined. Moreover, the approaches employed by al-Zarkashīand al-Farahīare analyzed and then the useful techniques which could be utilized for understanding the Qur’an are also identified. The findings of the study reveal that al-Farahīlinks the techniques of the Qur’an with the coherence of the Qur’an, which represents the objective unity of the whole Qur’an. It is also shown that al-Farahībelieves that those who do not understand the techniques of the Qur’an have missed the understanding of and thereflection on the Qur’an. However, it is revealed that al-Zarkashīmakes the linguistic techniques independent from the objective unity of the Qur’an.

Abstract

This paper was to identify the truth and position of waqf that occurred in Bongkudai Village, East Bolaang Mongondow District, Indonesia and to determine ways to resolve the problems that happened in the village. There are problems regarding waqf land which is used for personal interests and the issue of land payment receipts intended for waqf makes the writer have the intention to prepare this study. The method used by the author in the completion of this study was a qualitative method whose approach is a descriptive approach, by prioritizing interviews and field facts as the main source, for data collection conducted by the author was observation, interviews, and documentation to get concrete data and facts that occur in the field. The results obtained are that land which is known as waqf land has been partly used for personal use. Besides, there is a problem with the receipt in question. The land that is known as waqf land should never be used for individual interests. A receipt is actually not an urgent matter in a problem, as long as the disputing party has no evidence to oppose it. Therefore it must be a land payment receipt intended for waqf to directly record the endowment so that problems do not occur in the future.

Abstract

The objectives of this study is to explore and compare the concept of leadership in an Islamic state according to Ibn Taimiyah and al-Mawardi. This study is a qualitative descriptive comparative study, with normative, conceptual, and historical approach. The result os study reveals that Ibn Taymiyyah pays more attention to the ultimate goal of a state leadership, namely the benefit of the world and the hereafter, while al-Mawardi is more concerned with the government system in the form of imāmah or khilāfah.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the relevance of dismissal of friday prayers in circular letter of south sulawesi governor number: 451.11 / 2057/2020 during covid-19 pandemic from the perspective of maqāṣid al-syarī’ah. This research is library research using a qualitative approach and content analysis techniques. The results of the research conclude that the substance of the circular letter is relevant to the principle of maqāṣid al-syarī’ah which is the core philosophy of the formation of Islamic law in presenting the benefit of mankind in the world and the hereafter, both from the aspect of maqāṣid al-kulliyyah (universal) and maqāṣid al-juz'iyyah (partial) especially maqāṣid in obeying a leader. Therefore, the emergence of the phenomenon of counter attitudes from some people and even preachers towards the policy should not occur.

Abstract

Preference in solution construction of non-performing financing based on Islamic business ethics was born from the accumulation of fiqh of muamalah conceptions. This study aimed to describe the PPR mechanism according to sharia standards and to identify the relevance of sharia PPR practices in producing non-performing financing with Islamic humanist values based on fiqh of muamalah. This is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach to the Sharia Property Developer PT. Wahana Persada Indonesia. Data collection was conducted through observation and interviews with the president director, accounts receivable staff, marketing staff, and several users. This research describes the flow of financing that occurs in the field, starting from the location survey to the implementation of the Sale and Purchase Agreement and the handover of homeownership certificates. Besides, this study also finds three types of handling of problematic financing qualifications applied by developers in each cluster, starting from soft connections, restructuring, and finding a replacement for users. This is then made relevant to the values of Islamic business ethics to create an Islamic humanist financing atmosphere.

Abstract

The speaking skills among students are not satisfying. Thus, this research aims to clarify the role of Arabic debates in developing the speaking skills among non-Arabic speaker debaters. The main purpose of this study is to find out the benefit of Arabic debates in developing the speaking skills among students of Darul Quran JAKIM. It has been using the method of descriptive analysis in the implementation of this academic writing. To gather information, the researcher distributed questionnaires to the students that have been participated in the Arabic debate competition as sample. The sample was chosen from all faculties and the study was practiced to 40 students. The results of this study show that the Arabic debate is effective to develop the speaking skills among participants as the entire sample have benefited a lot from the debates to develop and enhance their speaking skills. The benefits include all four aspects of the standard develop of speech, such as intellectual, linguistics, audio, and interactive aspects. The researcher draws some suggestions for maximizing the role and contribution of debates to improve the speaking skills of the students especially and to all the universities and institutions in general. Lastly, the study suggested that every student of Arabic Language in particular and whoever interested in teaching and learning it in general, to take the selected strategies as their guideline in enhancing speaking skill level.

Abstract

Analysis of work contracts on the welfare of crew in fishermen sector from the Perspective of Islamic business ethics in Sarangmeduro Village is a study that aimed to answer questions about how the fishermen sector work contracts are implemented and how the welfare of the crew members is applied in Sarangmeduro Village. The methodology used was descriptive qualitative method with the type of case study research on the object. The result of this research is that the work contract conducted by fishermen in Sarangmeduro Village is a work contract system that has been implemented from generation to generation and is more likely to approach the muzaroah contract in profit sharing of maro or paroan. Based on the field of employment, the fishermen in Sarangmeduro Village live in prosperity. By the opening jobs provided by ship employers, they are facilitated in finding work. The residence that is inhabited every year has changed, which was originally made of woven bamboo, now most of them are built of bricks. The existence of a work contract implemented by fishermen can help to boost the economic condition of the fishermen in Sarangmeduro Village, which is always developing. The researcher recommend that fishermen make work inovation.
