Jurnal Ilmiah Psikologi Mind Set is a journal devoted to the development of psychology as a scientific discipline. One thing that distinguishes learn using network (online) and face to face learning is the separation between teachers and students that facilitated using online technology media, such as the Internet. Each participant in online learning should be able to manage their own learning (self-regulated leaner) in order to follow the lesson well. Development of a valid and reliable Self-Regulated Online Learning (SROL) scale is needed to help us address issues regarding the success of online learning, especially in developing various research on self-regulated online learning and its relation with other variables. The development of this measure carried out on 30 students' online classes by Universitas Indonesia. Single-trial test with Cronbach alpha generate the score which means SROL scale has high internal consistency. Calculation of the validity with criterion validity, which indicates that the measuring instrument SROL valid to predict students' academic achievement. Based on the integrative analysis of items, we selected 24 best items that distinguish individuals who higher and lower self-regulated online learning. Norms based on the group by using Scaled Score, with a mean of 10 and standard deviation of 3.

Qualitative approach in psychology, substantially cannot be detached from the development of social and psychological theory. The paper tries to reposition the role of qualitative methodology in psychology. First, qualitative methodology in psychology remains complementary with quantitative. Especially for the reason that qualitative method ramifications, in intersubjectivity, plays a role for the understandings of psychological phenomena. Second, as the quantitative methods emphazises more on objective measures of research constructs, qualitative methods give ways for exploring and deepening many constructs which for long has been considered uneasy to be studied. Third, qualitative data are innovative and creative, in terms of technological development. Emergent qualitative method enables the possibility of comprehensive understandings of individuals, consciousness, and behavior.

A survey as cited by one of the multinational companies in Indonesia showed that 60% of the generation of Indonesian young adults had been resigned from their jobs within three years of work. Turnover behavior begins with intention which becomes turnover intention, an important thing to be a strong predictor of turnover. Previous research showed there was a significant negative relationship between psychological capital and turnover intention. Turnover intention could be affected by the occupational future time perspective, which can affect personal choices and actions. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is significant influence between psychological capital and occupational future capital time perspective to turnover intention on young adult employees. This study used a quantitative approach. Samples of this research were 146 respondents which are 48% males and 52% females. Analysis showed that the significant effect of psychological capital and occupational future time perspective altogether to turnover intention. Practical suggestion for the companies to develop their employees' psychological capital, so they can facilitate employees' motivation and behavior intention to reach a better performance which will make a good impact for their companies as well.

The aim of this study was to investigate if there was a correlation between self-efficacy and self-regulated learning with goal orientation among senior high school students in Jakarta. This study hypothesized there was a positive correlation between self-efficacy and self-regulated learning with goal orientation among senior high school students in Jakarta. The participants of this study were senior high school students at SMAN 40 Jakarta, grade XI. The sampling technique used in this study was cluster random sampling. This study used a quantitative approach and used goal orientation scale, self-efficacy scale, and self-regulated learning scale to collect the data and was analyzed with discriminant analysis and cross tabs eta. The result of this research is fit with the hypothesis.

The purpose of this study is to understand how the psychological dynamics of Palang Hitam officers. The Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Department has a special team ready to evacuate the corpse. They are known as the Palang Hitam Team. Their duty is to take care of abandoned and neglected corpse. Every experience that had experienced by a Palang Hitam officers forms a pattern and its won psychological dynamics. Psychological dynamics of Palang Hitam officers become interesting because they are idiocentric, as different from the experience of people in general. The work adjacent to the unnatural death and the frequent handling intensity creates the psychological dynamics of the concept of death itself to Palang Hitam officers. Methods of data collection were done by interview method, observation, group discussion, and documentation, conducted on four participants. The study found five findings on the psychological dynamics of Palang Hitam officers, based on experiences of daily interaction with death. The experiences of interacting with the object of death form a pattern of psychological dynamics in Palang Hitam officers, such as anxiety when confronted with close relatives who experience death, self-acceptance, and coping mechanisms are the findings of this study.

The purpose of this research was to identify personality in Y Generation based on big five personality. Respondents of this research were 1286 Indonesian employee and college students, with age range18-37 years old (Y Generation). Personality was measured by NEO-PI-R Costa (Costa & Mcrae, 1992), which was developed by Humanika Consulting (2004). The value of coefficient reliability for NEO-PI-R Costa was 0.5 to 0.6. Data was analysed by descriptive quantitative methods. The analysis result showed that personality type of generation Y was low category on extraversion, openness to new experience, agreeableness, and conscientiousness personalities. Meanwhile, the type of personality neuroticism was in the category of average.

This consumer behavior research aimed to identified the decision making to listen to radio among young adults. Focused group discussion and in-depth interview were done to create questionnaire about decision making to listen to radio. Questionnaires were completed by 443 respondents with the criteria of male and female, 24-35 years old, and listen to radio minimum 1 hour per day. Data were analyzed with cluster analysis and crosstab. Result showed that group of young adults as radio listener which potential to be targeted were the entertainment seeker group. Based on the fact, the radio management may look at characteristics of entertainment seeker group in order to develop suitable radio program format and form of promotion that suits the character of young adults as their target.

Psoriasis disease can disturb the patient in terms of physical appearance, because the skin changes in the form of thick squama, so that psychologically can affect the quality of life of patients. This study aimed to obtain an overview of the self-confidence of female adolescents with Psoriasis. This study used a qualitative method (case study) with three adolescents women who suffer from Psoriasis since childhood, and used interview as data collection techniques. Results of this study got a description of the self-confidence of female adolescents with Psoriasis to physical appearance to be accepted in the environment. Self-confidence becomes important for female adolescents with Psoriasis to be able to adapt and be accepted by the social environment.

Fortitude is a strength or ability to manage stress consisting of self-appraisal, family appraisal, and support appraisal. Fortitude Questionnaire (FORQ) is a fortitude measurement tool developed by Pretorius and Heyns (2005), was consisted of 20 items that represented the dimensions of self-appraisal, family appraisal, and support appraisal. Based on literature studies, there was no Indonesian version of fortitude measuring tool. This limitation underlies the validation research of the Indonesian version of Fortitude Questionnaire. Validation includes testing the validity of internal structure and internal consistency reliability. Research respondents are 249 college students with an average age of 19 years. The results showed that the Indonesian version of Fortitude Questionnaire consists of 16 items with dimensions of self-appraisal, family appraisal, and support appraisal. Fortitude questionnaire Indonesian version met valid and reliable measurement method.

Developing vocabulary skills in pre-school children is one of the most decisive aspects of development for young children. This study aimed to optimize vocabulary skills in early childhood through interactive learning model with CERDAS card media. The research was conducted in 20 schools of TK A Central Semarang. The research method used was quasi-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design. The results of this study indicated that there was a very significant children. In addition, the study also showed that there was a difference in vocabulary skills between boys and girls.
