Abstract

The CT Scan examination technique that in the last decade is popular in diagnosing urinary stones is NCCT Urography examination. This examination is fast and informative, but this examination has a deficiency that the resulting image has a fairly high noise. Iterative Reconstruction is a method of algorithm reconstruction on CT Scan with the basic principle of estimating data to produce reconstruction image by reducing noise. The purpose of this study was to find out the difference in noise value in the use of Iterative Reconstruction in reducing noise and improving the quality of NCCT Urography image. This research was conducted retrospectively, namely on existing image given iterative reconstruction treatment of 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100%. Samples in each iterative reconstruction treatment group as many as 10 images. Image is done noise measurement by doing ROI in kidneys, ureter and VU. Data analysis is done by conducting different tests of One Way Anova using SPSS Software. The results showed that there was a significant difference in noise value after it was done Iterative Reconstruction. Noise decreased as the percentage of used Iterative Reconstruction increased in NCCT Urography image. In the use of Iterative Reconstruction percentage of 100% obtained the lowest average noise value of 9.11. The use of Iterative Reconstruction can reduce noise in NCCT Urography image by 9.386% compared to Filtered Back Projection (FBP). Iterative reconstruction is able to reduce noise and improve the image quality of NCCT Urography.

Abstract

Nosocomial infection is a health issues related to the in-hospital activities. One of the indirect cause was the contamination related to the waste disposal activity. All hospital waste was deemed hazardous that it needs extra care during collection. Cross contamination may arises when the waste containers was not treated. To alleviate the problem and to promote healthy habits, this article describe a smart disinfectant sprayed waste collection container and its status reports. By automating the lid opening and closing that was triggered by human proximities using passive infrared detector and ultrasound sensor, it provide convenience in waste disposal. This also prevent cross contamination related with physical contact with the waste container which may induce the nosocomial infection. The container also tracking its remained waste capacity and will report when it was almost full to prevent overflowed and to alarmed for immediate waste pickup. In case of delayed container collection, the lids will remain closed and the light indicator turn to red. The indicator will turn green in normal conditions and turn yellow if the container was almost full. ESP32 was used to interface with ultrasound sensors to approximate the container remaining capacity. Passive infrared sensor and a servo motor was linked to actuates the lid opening and closing. Some disinfectant was sprayed for every detected increase in waste level. The disinfectant aerosol canister was pushed by a DC motor. For reporting, the systems was equipped with LoRa for status report. This systems was tested inside Poltekkes Kemenkes Jakarta II building and could reach at least 80m distance from the report center for reporting.

Abstract

Resin polymerization which is affected by unstable temperature causes the resin to break easily. The strength of the base material is affected by the forces acting in the mouth, such as transverse forces, other resistance or fatigue, and flexibility. Fracture of denture caused by masticatory loads and is affected by forces acting in the mouth, including transverse, resistance or fatigue, and flexural forces. Experimental Laboratory total of 72 samples consisting of 18 samples of type A, B and C cured at normal temperature, 100oC, 200oC, and 300oC. Types A, B and C have the effect of heating with the addition of temperature on the impact strength of acrylic resin, because the value of sig = 0.001 < 0.05, so H0 is rejected. An effect with the addition of temperature on the impact strength of the resin types A, B and C, because sig = 0.001 < 0.05, so H0 is rejected, which means that the average results are significantly different due to differences in temperature.
