Third, sound (1) changes in vowels, that are /ua/ becomes /wa/, /i/ becomes /y/, and /a/ becomes /e/; and (2) changes in consonants, that are /t/ becomes /d/, /v/ becomes /w/, and /w/ becomes /v/.

Abstract

This study aimed to know the high-frequency affixed words used in BIPA 3 textbooks and the compatibility of the affixes used in BIPA 3 textbooks with SKL BIPA 3. This research used corpus data as the source of the data. The corpus was built from reading texts in BIPA 3 textbooks. Abstract

Critical thinking skills can help BIPA learners improve their speaking competence. BIPA teachers need to stimulate learners' critical thinking by using sociocultural context. This study aims to address the need for stimulating learners' critical thinking in responding to sociocultural contexts. The research method used is descriptive-qualitative. The data source for this study is the performance assessment results of four BIPA level 4 learners. The findings of this study indicate that the average learner’s final score in the speaking assessment is 89. The acquisition of this final score indicates that the sociocultural context in BIPA evaluation can stimulate critical thinking for learners to express their opinions in speaking. Learners' critical thinking is reflected in the preparation of performance assessment, idea processing, and delivery of the speech context. Furthermore, this research can serve as an initial study to enhance learners' critical thinking skills in BIPA learning.

Abstract

This research is based on the need for the development of BIPA 1 teaching materials which are not only good in terms of content but also effective for use by teachers and target students. In order to achieve this goal, research was conducted on Requirements Analysis which is part of the Needs Analysis for the development of BIPA 1 teaching materials for first-speaking French speakers. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with literature review method. From this study, the results were obtained in the form of a Requirements Analysis result table which contained a merger between the Elements of Functions table at Cadre Européen Commun de Références pour les Langues (CECRL) level A1 and the Pengetahuan yang Dikuasai table in Capaian Lulusan Khusus BIPA 1 and the table of Aspek Kebahasaan in Standar Kompetensi Lulusan BIPA 1 as stated in Permendikbud number 27 of 2017.
