Abstract

Range of Motion is one part of rehabilitation that has a large role to restore the ability of the patient to move back, meet their daily needs, until returning to work. The effect of ROM on Ischemic Stroke Patients on Muscle Strength Enhancement Royal Prima Hospital in 2018. This is a descriptive analytic research with case control design where both variables were tested simulataneously to determine the relationship between the two using test data analysis Wilcoxon. This research was conducted on 6-11 June 2018, using primary data. The population in this study were all who did ROM exercises who experienced an ischemic stroke at the RSU. Royal Prima Medan and the patients were treated with saturated sampling technique. the number of samples in this study were 5 people. There is a significant relation between ROM and muscle power on ischemic stroke patients at Royal Prima Hospital Medan in 2018 with a p-value of 0.059. The study concludes that there is an effect of ROM on increasing muscle strength of stroke patients at Royal Prima hospital Medan in 2018. The major problem of the problem of the disease is that it causes physical disability if not treated quickly and the disease can change lifestyle well by doing physical exercise regularly.

Abstract

Patients with chronic renal failure who undergo hemodialysis often experience a decrease in physical activity and this decrease affects the anxiety condition. The family support may decrease anxiety in patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy. The purpose of this study to analyze the relationship between family supports with anxiety patients with chronic renal failure in the hemodialysis chamber Royal Prima Hospital Medan in 2017. The design of this study is analytic with correlative. The population was of 56 people and the technique of sampling using correlation description technique then the sample of 56 people. Data collection was using questionnaire sheet. The results of the study 51 respondents 91.1% known to get good family support and as many as 39 respondents 69.6% known to have moderate anxiety. The result of spearman rho test show significant level p = 0,05 obtained p value = 0,779 so p> 0,05 then Ho accepted. The conclusion of this research is no relationship of family support with anxiety of chronic renal failure patient in hemodialysis chamber of Royal Prima Hospital Medan. Researchers are further advised to examine the effect of family support in decreasing anxiety levels of patients undergoing hemodialysis in the hemodialysis.

Abstract

Breast cancer is a malignant neoplasmic disease originating from parenchyma. The physical and psychological changes experienced by cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy will contribute to the patient's social life such as changes in work status, changes in relations in society or changes in roles as wife and mother. Psychological problems experienced by advanced cancer patients stem from the decline in physical conditions due to illness and the side effects of therapy that are being undertaken. Psychological pressure in cancer patients undergoing treatment especially chemotherapy needs to be determined and understood. The purpose of this study was to explore the psychosocial experience of breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. The research was a descriptive phenomenology design with as many as 10 participants and data collection through in-depth interviews conducted at the BLUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Hospital Banda Aceh in the Thursina 2. This study found 4 themes: psychological response after therapy, social support, hopes after undergoing therapy, and perceptions of health care providers. Based on the results of this study, the researchers suggested that health service providers, especially nurses, be expected to provide support from both emotional support and information support to increase women's enthusiasm and hope after undergoing chemotherapy.

Abstract

Mental problems emotional circumstances in which it identifies an individual experiencing an emotional change so that it can develop into a pathological condition if it continues, so that should be anticipated so that sanity is maintained (Kusuma, 2014). The results of the WHO study found 1 in 5 children aged less than 16 years of experience mental emotional problems. Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) in 2013 shows the prevalence of mental disorders in people emotionally Indonesia with age above 15 years is 6.0%. Health Data Survey Indonesia (IDHS, 2012) reported adolescents aged 15-19 years have shown aberrant behavior and emotional problems .This study aimed to determine the prevalence of adolescent mental emotional problems. Descriptive study design, sample of 266 adolescents with cluster sampling. Research was conducted at Kelurahan Tuah Karya Kecamatan Tampan, Riau Province. The results of the study show that mental problems emotional teenagers included in the category of borderline with the average of 18.45. The mean age of 16.63 years old teenager. Teen sex 45.1% male and 54.9% female. Youth education 82% higher education and 18% low education. Socioeconomic level 58.3% lower and 41.7% higher. Suggestions to further develop the scientific spirit of nursing education-related mental problems emotional teenagers to prevent deviant behavior in adolescents.

Abstract

Menstruation is the discharge of blood from the uterus caused by the release of the endometrium, the output consists of endometrial and stirmal cells. The old blood cells and other gland secretions averaged about 5 days. At the beginning of menstrual levels of extrogen and progesterone, LH decreases or is in the lowest levels during the cycle and the levels of FSH (Foullicle stimulating hoemone) just begin to increase. Sometimes menstruation with pain is termed dismonorrhea. Dismonorrhea is a painful menstrual period, dismonorrhea is usually isolated or is part of menstrual syndrome that is related during menstruation caused by uterine muscle spasms and cause pain at the time of menstruation. This study was conducted to identify the level of anxiety and the level of knowledge of young teenagers about dismonorrhoea in the Yayasan Parulian 4 Porsea of Toba Samosir Regency. By using descriptive design, 46 samples were collected using cluster sampling, data collection was conducted on May-June 2018. After analyzing the data, it is found that the respondents have good knowledge (n = 41: 89,1%) from the good knowledge expected to be the basis for the application of nursing care and improvement and health degree. Anxiety assessment categories are mild, moderate, and severe anxiety. After the research, it was found that the respondents had mild anxiety (n = 42: 91.3%). With mild anxiety is expected to reduce anxiety, worry in the face of dismonorrhoea.

Abstract

Nurse job performance is one of the factors that influence service quality in implementing nursing care. Nurse job satisfaction is an important part of life that influences productivity performance and the quality of care provided. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between work satisfaction and nurse job performance in Army TK IV Hospital 010701 Pematangsiantar. Type of research is correlation descriptive study. The population in this study were nurses working in the inpatient room. The sampling technique was done by simple random sampling, which was 84 respondents. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire made by the researcher himself. The job satisfaction questionnaire consisted of 32 statements while the nurse job performance questionnaire consisted of 10 statements. Test statistics using Rho spearmen. The results of the research conducted at TK IV 010701 Army Hospital Pematangsiantar obtained that the majority of nurses 'job satisfaction was in the sufficient category as many as 63 respondents (75%), the majority of nurses' performance were in the moderate category, 44 respondents (52.4%), analysis with the SPSS program was value p <0.05 which is equal to 0.000, meaning that there is a meaningful correlation, which means there is a relationship between job satisfaction and the job performance of nurses in Army TK IV Hospital 010701 Pematangsiantar. It is recommended that the management of the Hospital need to pay attention to and establish strategies to improve job satisfaction for nurses because nurses are the largest human resource in the health care system.

Abstract

Diabetes is one of the four priorities for non-communicable diseases. In 2015 diabetic 415 million adults with diabetes, a 4-fold increase from 108 million in the 1980s. In 20140 it is estimated that the number will be 642 million people. This study aims to determine the relationship of anxiety level of patients with dietary adherence in patients with Diabetes Mellitus at Mitra Medika General Hospital Medan in 2018. This research use analytic survey research design with cross sectional approach using chi-square test. The population in this study was Diabetes Mellitus patients amounted to 49 respondents, while the sample is the total sampling of the entire population of 49 respondents. The type of data used is primary data, secondary data and tertiary data, while the analysis used is univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. From the results of this study with Parson Chi-square statistical test, showed that the P value of 0.014. Where the value is smaller than α value of 0.05, then there is a relationship between the anxiety levels of patients with dietary adherence in patients with Diabetes Mellitus at Mitra Medika General Hospital Medan. The conclusions in this study showed that there was a statistically significant relationship between the anxiety levels of patients with dietary adherence in Diabetes Mellitus patients at Mitra Medika General Hospital Medan. It is suggested to do more research about patient's anxiety level with diet compliance, by using different research location and research method.

Abstract

One of the side effects of chemotherapy using a needle that cancer patients undergo is inflammation of blood vessels. To reduce this effect you can use chemoport. For treatment, patients must control within the first week after chemoport installation until the wound is dry. Furthermore, you need to clean the device about 1.5 - 2 months. "Treatment is by inserting needles and special substances for about 15 minutes in the hospital and carried out by experts such as nurses and doctors. It is necessary to provide education and counseling for the installation of invasive equipment to patients undergoing chemotherapy so that patients do not experience anxiety This study aims to determine the relationship between the duration of new chemotherapy and the anxiety level of new chemotherapy patients in Medan City Hospital. The type of this study is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design. The sample used in this study amounted to 42 people and the sampling technique was purposive sampling that is, the sample taking by the researcher comes to do the research and part of the sample is taken from the population. The data collection uses questionnaires and data analysis using the T-Test test. From the results of the study found the influence of giving counseling with anxiety levels in chemoport patients who undergo chemotherapy, obtained that the value of p value 0.00. It is expected that nurses will provide education and counseling to chemoport patients who undergo new chemotherapy so that patients feel comfortable and not anxious.

Abstract

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a lung disease characterized by a limited flow of air in the respiratory tract that is not completely reversible. Exercise Pursed Lip breathing exercise can reduce respiratory muscle spasm, clear the airway, relieve respiratory tract. This type of research is quasi experimental with one-group design pre-post test design. The research population consists of 8 people with sampling using 8 saturated sampling techniques. The results of the research before pulsed lip breathing exercise that respiratory rate of respiratory sufferers as many as 7 people (88.9%), shortness of breath weight 1 person (11, 1%), and who experienced mild breathlessness did not exist. After Pulsed Lip Breathing Exercise, 6 breathless breath less (77, 8%), moderate shortness of breath 2 people (22, 2%), and those with severe shortness of breath did not exist. The Wilcoxon test results at the time of the pre-test the mean value was 2.13 and the median value was 2.00. At the time of the post test the mean value was 1.25 and the median value was 1.00. The value of Z was -2.646 with p value of 0.008 <0.05. it means that Ha is accepted which means that there is an effect of pulsed lip breathing exercise on the decrease in shortness of breath in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) at Royal Prima Hospital Medan in 2018. It is expected that respondents will be able to improve their pulsed lip breathing exercise regularly to get a better decrease in shortness of breath than before.

Abstract

Duration is the length of time watching something takes place or span of time. So what is meant by the duration of watching television is the length of watching television. Television can have an effect on influencing the nutritional status of children. The regularity of eating is closely related to mealtime every day. Naturally, food is processed in the body through digestive devices starting from the mouth to the small intestine. This study uses a correlation design with a cross sectional approach that is linking/analyzing between variables that aims to determine the relationship of watching television with regularity to the schedule of eating grade V children at SDN 173318 in Paranginan sub-district Humbang Hasundutan district in 2018. This instrument uses a questionnaire sheet. The aim of the study was to find out the relationship between the length of watching television and the regular schedule of meals for fifth grade children in SDN 1733318 in Paranginan Sub-District, Humbang Hasundutan District. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the majority of watching television was in the frequent category of 19 people (54.3%), and the eating schedule regularity was mostly in the irregular category of 22 people (62.9%). Chi Square test results (Pearson chi square) obtained a value of p = 0.003 (p <0.05), meaning that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that there is a relationship between the length of watching television and the regularity of the schedule for eating fifth grade children.
