Abstract

This study examines the impact of Covid-19 on the firm value in the consumer goods industry sector. This study aims to determine whether there is a significant difference in the firm value of the consumer goods sector between before the Covid-19 pandemic and afterwards. The study used the average firm value in the consumer goods industry four months before the pandemic and four months after the discovery of the Covid-19 case in Indonesia. Sampling using purposive sampling with a sample size of 31 companies which are grouped into four sub-sectors. The study will examine the impact of Covid-19 on the consumer goods industry sector as a whole, as well as partially on each subsector. The data were tested by using the paired sample t-test method. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the company value of the consumer goods industry before and after the Covid-19 case. The results of the partial analysis of each subsector show that the cosmetic and house hold sub- sector and the food and beverage sub-sector have significant differences between before and after the pandemic, while the tobacco manufacturer and pharmaceutical sub-sectors have no significant differences in company value between before and after the pandemic.Key words: Impact of Covid-19, Firm Value, Consumer Goods

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dan menganalisis sejauh mana pengaruh pandemi covid-19 terhadap UMKM yang ada di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan menggunakan sumber data sekunder dari hasil penelitian, referensi dan berita online yang terkait langsung dengan penelitian ini. Sejak merebaknya virus corona atau yang dikenal dengan pandemi covid-19 terjadilah penurunan omzet pelaku UMKM yang sangat signifikan.Terdapat beberapa lapangan usaha UMKM yang terkena dampak yang paling besar yaitu penyedia akomodasi, pariwisata, dan makan minum, perdagangan besar dan eceran, serta reparasi sepeda motor dan transportasi dan perdagangan. Berdasarkan data yang diolah P2E LIPI, dampak penurunan pariwisata terhadap UMKM yang bergerak dalam usaha makanan dan minuman mikro mencapai 27%. Sedangkan dampak terhadap usaha kecil makanan dan minuman sebesar 1,77%, dan usaha menengah di angka 0,07%. Pengaruh virus COVID-19 terhadap unit kerajinan dari kayu dan rotan, usaha mikro berada di angka 17,03%. Untuk usaha kecil di sektor kerajinan kayu dan rotan 1,77% dan usaha menengah 0,01%. Sementara itu, konsumsi rumah tangga juga akan terkoreksi antara 0,5% hingga 0,8%. Perkembangan digital dalam globalisasi sangat berpengaruh pada roda ekonomi termasuk pasar ritel. Hasil penellitian menunjukkan bahwa UMKM adalah jenis usaha perekonomian yang paling banyak terdampak dari pandemic covid-19 meliputi indusri automotif, industri baja, peralatan listrik, industri tekstil, kerajinan dan alat berat, pariwisata. Sedangkan industri yang mampu bertahan di masa pandemic covid-19 adalah 1. UMKM yang mampu mengadaptasikan bisnisnya dengan produk-produk inovasi2. Industri ritel yang mampu bertahan , hal ini dikarenakan sebagian memanfaatkan penjualan melalui marketing digital 3. Industri lain yang mampu bertahan dimasa pandemi covid 19 adalah industri yang terkait dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar, antara lain listik, air bersih, pertanian, peternakan, perkebunan, perikanan, otomotif dan perbankan.  Industri yang mengalami perkembangan selama masa pandemic covid-19 adalah pangan, farmasi, teknologi Informasi dan komunikasi.Kata kunci :  Pandemi, COVID-19, UMKM

Abstract

The study was conducted to find out that the decision to purchase ornamental plants during the Covid-19 pandemic was influenced by several factors such as Trend, Lifestyle, Price, and Uniqueness. The variables used in this study are Trend (X1), Lifestyle (X2), Price (X3), Uniqueness (X4) and Purchase Decision (Y). This research was conducted with a quantitative approach, one of which is purposive sampling using the roscoe count so that 100 respondents can be taken who are ornamental plant hobbyists or ornamental plant consumers during the pandemic. The collection technique uses a Likert scale to make it easier for respondents to fill out the questionnaire. Data analysis in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. This study uses the SPSS 21 tool to see the results of the data obtained. The results of this study Trend, Lifestyle and Uniqueness have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions of ornamental plants during the pandemic. Then the price does not have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions during the pandemic.Keywords: Trend, Lifestyle, Price, Uniqueness, Purchase Decision

Abstract

In an effort to increase maximum work readiness, students do not only fulfill the input and output aspects, but what is more important is the process aspect, the process in question is self-development and work interest processes. Both of these things have a high level of importance compared to other processes. The right educational process will be carried out by educational institutions in order to produce valuable and work-ready human resources, so that every student who graduates will be able to develop a career according to their competencies. Based on this, educational institutions must be able to provide confidence to stakeholders that their institutions are qualified in carrying out real educational goals. The implementation of self-development and work interest is a real solution in fulfilling expectations to synergize with each other in an effort to increase student work readiness. Students have harmony between physical, mental and experience abilities with individual capacities in preparing themselves for the work industry so that in the end they are able to carry out certain activities related to work according to the targets that have been set with full responsibility and professionalism.Key words:  Self Development, Work Interest and Work Readiness

Abstract

This study aims to look at the relationship between Socially Responsible Human Resource Management (SRHRM) and employee support for the perception of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The data collection method used for the research is through surveys, which are distributed to employees of several companies in various industries in Indonesia and the collected data are analyzed using the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) method. The findings of this research suggest that SRHRM practices will affect employee support for external CSR through the creation of a socially responsible organizational climate. Therefore, it should be considered by companies in Indonesia throughout its operations particularly for the company’s human resource department. This research contributes to expanding the CSR and HR literature which is still uncommon particularly in Indonesia.Keywords: Corporate Social Responsibility, Organizational Climate, Socially Responsible Human Resource Management

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui dampak pandemi covid 19 terhadap perusahaan yang ada di Tangerang Selatan, apa yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan terhadap dirinya dan karyawan yang ada, untuk mengetahui stres kerja yang dihadapai oleh karyawan, dan langkah-langkah apa saja yang diambil oleh karyawan untuk mengelola stres kerja dan dapat menyesuaikan sistem kerja dengan kondisi yang ada saat ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan mengkaji buku-buku, peraturan pemerintah yang berlaku saat pandemi covid 19, observasi ke perusahaan yang berada di daerah Tangrang Selatan, dan wawancara kepada beberapa karyawan sebagai sampel mengenai dampak dari pandemi covid 19 dan langkah-langkah apa yang bisa dilakukan oleh karyawan untuk menanggulangi stres kerja yang ada. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah perusahaan melakukan: tetap beroperasi, tes rapid dan PCR, protokol kesehatan, karyawan panas tinggi dan sakit tidak diperkenankan masuk, shift kerja, pemutusan karyawan magang dan kontrak yang habis waktunya, dan pengurangan upah yang diterima bulanan dan tunjangan-tunjangan. Karyawan kerja dari rumah dan bergilir ke kantor untuk proses produksi, pemasaran, dan pelayanan pelanggan, dan untuk menanggulangi stres kerja hal yang dilakukan karyawan adalah berdoa, olah raga, wfh, hindari kerumunan dan alat transportasi publik, konsumsi makanan sehat dan vitamin, bisnis dari rumah, dan menekuni hobi yang bermanfaat.Kata kunci: stres kerja, covid, karyawan, perusahaan

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of Majene Regency with the title The Effect of Work Environment and Compensation on Employee Performance. The formulation of the problem used by researchers is How the influence of the Work Environment on Employee Performance at the Education and Youth Sports Office of Majene Regency, How the influence of Compensation on Employee Performance at the Education and Youth Sports Office of Majene Regency, which variables have more influence on Employee Performance at the Education and Youth Office Majene District Sports. The research method, namely the population and sample used in this study were all employees of the Department of Education and Youth Sports of Majene Regency, which amounted to about 50 people, while the analysis method used the Validity Test, Reliability Test, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis This analysis was used to determine how much influence it had. independent variables, namely: compensation (X1), and work environment (X2) on the dependent variable, namely Employee Performance (Y). Multiple linear regression equations, Partial Significance Test (t test) and Simultaneous Test (F test). The results obtained from this study are the work environment has a significant effect on employee performance at the Department of Education and Youth Sports of Majene Regency, compensation has an effect on employee performance at the Education and Youth Sports Office of Majene Regency. and the work environment has a more dominant influence on employee performance at the Department of Education and Youth Sport, Majene Regency.Keywords: Work Environment, Compensation, Employee Performance

Abstract

The state has provided a lot of welfare to the citizens of rural communities, who make up the largest part of this nation. Socio-economic welfare as a public interest has been pursued by the state with its authority, including in the form of a policy to establish Village Owned Enterprises (BUM Desa). The issuance of Law Number 6 of 2014, PP Number 43 of 2014 and the Village Regulation of PDTT Number 4 of 2015 relating to the interests of the village community, became a strong foundation for the establishment of BUM Desa. In Karawang Regency, this was followed up with the issuance of Regional Regulation Number 4 of 2019 and Perbup Number 35 of 2020. One of the problems when public policy was implemented started from the substance of policies that were bad policy, unclear, not operational/incomplete, ambiguous, and contradictory. The research uses normative juridical methods and literature review. The results of the study indicate that the issue of welfare of rural communities is embodied in various state/government regulations. There is a relationship between the local government as an operational policy maker and the policy environment as well as a hierarchical relationship with policy makers regarding BUM Desa at the national level. There are several policy substances that are considered bad policies, because they are unclear, not operational/incomplete, ambiguous and contradictory. This will have implications for the ineffective implementation of BUM Desa policies by implementers at the lowest level of government.Keywords : evaluation, public policy, village-owned enterprises

Abstract

This study aims to find out how e-commerce is a tool to improve public services, especially for motor vehicle tax payments. The essence of innovation to serve the public is how to provide improved services to the public according to advances in information technology. Previous research related to public services has revealed more about the analysis of public services (Rinaldi, 2012) or public service innovations (Hartomi et al, 2018). However, this study aims to determine whether the payment of motor vehicle taxes through e-commerce is included as an effort to provide good public services to achieve good governance. According to the theory of public service management, what is called good governance must meet the needs of the community for public services, namely participation, rule of law, transparency, responsiveness, orientation to consensus, equality, effective and efficient operation, accountability and strategic vision. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The results show that the motor vehicle tax payment service through Bukalapak in the Bekasi City area, West Java, has met most of the criteria to serve the public well.Keywords: Good Governance, Public Services, PKB Payments at E-Samsat

Abstract

The purpose of this qualitative research is to examine lecturers' understanding of how to experience telecommuting or working from home (WFH) through virtual or online teaching during the Covid-19 pandemic. Respondents for this study were 15 lecturers, who teach online from various private universities in Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang and Bekasi (JABOTABEK). Semi-structured interviews via email and telephone were conducted using purposive sampling technique and content analysis approach. The results of this study illustrate that most of the lecturers (93%) understand the concept of telecommuting, the importance of information technology support and a home work environment to support their virtual or online teaching activities. The study also found several advantages of online teaching experiences such as flexibility, cost reduction and efficiency, work-life balance; and for the disadvantages, namely, lack of socialization for students and interaction between lecturers and students, and lack of infrastructure support, and the last is self-discipline.Keywords: Telecommuting, online teaching, flexibility.
