Abstract

A good textbook must be by the applicable curriculum. The subject matter presented in the textbook must be by the correct concept. However, many textbooks on the market still present wrong concepts. Conceptual errors are permanent in students' thinking, making them difficult to change. Assessment of geography textbooks needs to be carried out to determine the conformity of the textbook content with the quality standards determined by the Curriculum, Standards, and Educational Assessment Agency (BSKAP). Assessment standards include content, language, presentation, and design standards. The object of research is the geography textbook published by Erlangga, the Merdeka Curriculum edition. The material analyzed is the hydrosphere material presented in class X semester 2. This research uses descriptive content analysis techniques, using a quantitative approach. The data obtained is analyzed by scoring each component item, calculating percentages, determining eligibility criteria, and describing the assessment results. Based on the overall assessment results, the percentage was 81%. The results of this assessment are included in the appropriate criteria. However, several suggestions are given by the teacher, so that the author can consider them in revising or improving the book.

Abstract

Fieldwork learning is a form of implementing real geography learning to improve students' competence in understanding geosphere phenomena. The various benefits of fieldwork learning require the right tools in its application. The Segara Anakan area with all its appearances and resources has the potential to be used as a means of learning important fieldwork on estuarine environmental material. This study aims to explore the potential and strategy of the Segara Anakan Area as a means of learning geography fieldwork on estuarine environmental material. This research is included in the qualitative descriptive research. The data used are primary data from field observations and secondary data from scientific literature. The analysis used is descriptive analysis to describe the potential of the Segara Anakan Area as a means of learning fieldwork in an estuary environment. The results showed that the Segara Anakan area has objects that can be used as objects of study according to competence and indicators of estuarine environmental material. This fieldwork strategy is carried out by determining the object of study, accessibility, instruments, equipment, and materials to be used during field activities. During the activity, students make observations, collect data, and listen to the teacher explain the object of study. The implementation of fieldwork in the Segara Anakan area has constraints such as time, costs, permits, and threats when carrying out fieldwork.

Abstract

Geography learning at high school level which is studied in the social sciences group examines various kinds of geosphere phenomena as supports for human life, through a spatial approach, environmental approach and regional approach. The purpose of this research is to determine the determination of geographic subject matter through observing geosphere phenomena in learning in social studies classes at SMA. This research method uses literature studies which contain various literature sources, namely accredited journals, proceedings, books and relevant sources that are trusted and scientific. The research results showed that the determination of geography subject matter must be adjusted to the syllabus as a curriculum standards for geography subjects in SMA. The geosphere phenomenon is not only a theoretical concept in books but can be observed directly, simply through the environment around the school. The activity of observing geosphere phenomena around students is a source of geography learning, a complement to the theory presented in the textbook. It is concluded that geography learning can be implemented through theory and practice of observing geosphere phenomena. The contribution of this research to social studies learning lies in the diversity of social studies learning sources which include humans and all their life support.

Abstract

The increasing phenomena of mental health problems experienced by students need more attention not only by the parents but also by educational institutions and the government. Thus, we need a strategy to strengthen academic resilience, especially for students who are completing their thesis. In line with that, the aim of this study is to investigate the determinants of academic resilience. The independent variables proposed in this research are academic self-efficacy, social support and religiosity. This study applied a quantitative method with regression analysis using a questionnaire. One hundred twenty-eight completed responses were obtained from a state university in Malang, Indonesia. The research findings showed that only academic self-efficacy and social support have positive and significant effects on academic resilience. Although this study cannot confirm that religiosity has an impact on academic resilience, this research has attempted to fill the gap in previous research by elaborating on the determinants of academic resilience from psycho-social factors and religiosity.

The overall population is 31 students with sample selection using the Non-Probability Sampling technique, one of the techniques is saturated sampling. The research sample of X AKL1 students totaling 16 students as an experimental class using the project-based learning model and X AKL2 with a total of 15 students as a control class using conventional methods. Data collection uses observation and multiple-choice questions (PG). The hypothesis test carried out obtained a value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.012 < 0.05, then Ho was rejected and H1 was accepted. Abstract

This research aims to synthesize the Problem-Base Learning Model, Inquiry-Based Learning Model, and The Flipped Classroom Approach Model into a new learning model. The research method used is literature study. The number of articles relevant to the three learning models studied is 49 articles published in the last 10 years (2014-2024). The article is divided into three data groups, namely (1) Problem-Base Learning Model data group (D1), (2) Inquiry-Based Learning Model data group (D2), and (3) The Flipped Classroom Approach Model data group (D3). . These three groups of data are the result of stages (1) identifying literature, (2) studying literature, and (3) analyzing literature. The next stage is to synthesize D1, D2, and D3 into a learning model called the E-Supsate Model (Four Interconnected Viewpoints Model). This model is a learning model that connects every theoretical concept, theme, topic, social problem, social phenomenon or case to various social science disciplines and Islamic religious knowledge. These relationships have a common ground which is called the core of social reality meaning. Thus, this model produces a holistic learning experience in the form of (1) holistic understanding, (2) holistic internalization of Islamic values, and (3) holistic critical thinking.
