Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ motivation and learning outcome in English by usingHypnolearning method. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) whereresearchers along with collaborators working together in designing learning scenarios,action, data analysis and reflection. Subjects of the study were students of class VIII SMPN23 Pekanbaru academic year 2015/2016 which the total number was 28 students. Thisresearch was conducted in two cycles following the procedure classroom action research -planning, action, observation and reflection. The first cycle consisted of five meetings, whilethe second cycle consisted of four sessions. Data acquisition was done through observation,field notes, interview and test. The study states that the method hypnolearning improvedmotivation and learning outcomes of English. Indicators increased motivation and learningoutcomes can be seen from the active participation of students in the learning process andlearning outcomes can be seen from the test evaluation. An increase of 25% from 71.43% incycle 1 to 96.43 in cycle 2. The average value of the class also experienced a good increase72.85% to 83.85%. Hypnolearning also made students more relaxed and confident in thelearning process

Abstract

This research is entitled " The Use of Logic in Yuk berhijab! By Ustad". The problem in thisresearch is how the use of logic induction, deduction, syllogism, the proposition, decision,analogy, and definitions used in the book berhijab Yuk! Ustad works of Felix Siauw. Thisstudy aimed to collect data and information induction, deduction, syllogism, the proposition,decision, analogy, and definitions used in the book Yuk berhijab! Ustad works of Felix Siauw.The theory that the authors use the, Ministry of Education (2008), Suhandang (2009),Rachmat (2011), Keraf (2006), Abidin (2002), Mundiri (2014), and Ranjabar (2014). Thepopulation in this study are all phrases that contain the logic in the book "Let hijab!" By FelixSiauw which consists of 140 pages, with the number of Chapter consists of 9 chapters. Themethod used is descriptive with qualitative approach and the type of research library (LibraryResearch). Conclusion. Induction of this research that found as many as 11 data or 7%.Deduction found as many as 10 data, or 6%. Syllogism as much as 4 data or 3%. Propositionfound as many as 11 data or 7%. The decision found as many as 55 of data, equivalent to35%. The analogy of the data found as many as 30 or 19%. And the definition of the data asmuch as 36 or 23%.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve the learningprocess and improve learning outcomes of economics students with the application ofQuick On The Draw in cooperative learning. The subjects were students of class XIIIPS 2 SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru in the first semester of the academic year 2013/2014,totaling 40 people, consisting of 19 male students and 21 female students withacademic ability levels are heterogeneous. The study consisted of two cycles, eachcycle consisting of four phases: planning, implementation, observation and reflection.Each end of the cycle carried out daily tests. The data collection is done byobservation techniques and techniques written test. Data was analyzed usingdescriptive qualitative analysis techniques of narrative and descriptive statisticalanalysis. Results of research on the observation sheet shows the activity of teachersand students have done well after taking action even though there are still somedeficiencies. Teacher activity in accordance with the planning and activities ofstudents also increased to be active both in discussions and when answering aquestion card set. Criteria for success of the action on this study is the result ofincreased student learning that can be seen from the increasing value of students canbe seen from the analysis of the achievement of KKM. If the number of students whoreach KKM on daily tests 1 and 2 daily test more than the basic score, it can be saidShiva value increases. The number of students who reach KKM on a base score, dailytest I (first cycle), daily test II (second cycle) respectively are 30%, 50% and 75%. Theresults of this study indicate that the application of Quick On The Draw incooperative learning can improve student learning outcomes economy class XII IPS 2SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru semester of academic year 2013/2014.

Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul “Peningkatan Kemampuan Menulis Teks Berita denganMetode Investigasi Kelompok (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas pada Siswa kelas 12 MIPA3 SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru Tahun Ajaran 2015- 2016)” dilatarbelakangi olehmasalah yang dialami siswa kelas 12 MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru dalammenulis sebuah teks berita, seperti menuangkan gagasan, mengembangkan gagasan,penggunaan diksi, dan tata tulis. Oleh sebab itu, peneliti menggunakan metodepembelajaran investigasi kelompok untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebutsehingga hasil pembelajaran siswa dapat mengalami peningkatan. Penelitian inibertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaanpembelajaran, dan hasil pembelajaran menulis teks berita dengan metode investigasikelompok pada siswa kelas 12 MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru. Metode yangdigunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yangberfungsi untuk mendeskripsikan secara objektif permasalahan pembelajaran dikelas yang menyangkut perbaikan, peningkatan, dan pengelolaan kelas. Hasil daripenelitian ini, yaitu dalam perencanaan pembelajaran terdapat beberapa komponenyang harus diperhatikan, seperti menentukan waktu pelaksanaan penelitian,menentukan topik yang akan diinvestigasi setiap siklusnya, menyusun RPP,menyiapkan media pembelajaran, dan menyusun alat evaluasi. Kemudian padapelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus, dapatdisimpulkan bahwa menulis teks berita dengan metode investigasi kelompok padasiswa kelas 12 MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru dapat membangkitkan minat sertasemangat siswa dalam belajar menulis teks berita. Hal ini dibuktikan oleh hasilpenilaian ketiga pengamat yang mengamati aktivitas di kelas selama PBM. Selainitu, pada hasil pembelajaran siswamengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya,terbukti dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata siswa. Pada siklus 1 nilai rata-rata siswaadalah 55,6, pada siklus 2 nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi 85,7. Melihathasil yang ditemukan pada penelitian ini, penggunaan metode investigasi kelompokdalam menulis teks berita dapat membantu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas12 MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This research is based on the low percentage of achievement on the MinimumExhaustiveness Criteria that was given by the students of grade XI 1 SOCIAL 10SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL Pekanbaru, school year 2015/2016 From the number ofstudents 42 people who took the post test on the teaching materials Characteristic ofcivil society with Cooperative learning model, only 15 people can be passed (36.%)and the rest about 27 people are declared not graduated (64,%). The data indicate thatthe learning outcomes in these teaching materials can be declared unfinished. Thedisagreement is evident from the proof of the percentage of all students graduationonly reached 36,%. The percentage is far from the ideal percentage between 80% -100%. Even the percentage of graduation is smaller than the percentage of nongraduation.Therefore, for such cases it is necessary to hold a classical remedial. Theprocess of classical remedial in this case the author did through classroom actionresearch activities.

Abstract

The purpose of National education is to develop the ability and to form the characterand dignified civilization in order to educate the life of nation, to develop the students’potential in order to be a religious man and cautious to the God almighty, noble,healthy, competent, creative, independent, and democratic citizen and responsible. TheIndonesian government plan the nation culture and character development begun by thedeclaration of education of culture and character of nation as a national movement inthe beginning of january 2010. This plan is reconfirmed in the president’s speech on theNational Education Day May 2, 2010. The purpose of this research is to know whetherthe scout student activity units takes effect to the scout students honest characterdevelopment of Riau University. The methodology in this research is DescriptiveQualitative. The population of this research is all the active scout members front groupRiau University 2016 which amount to 80 people. The result of recapitulation foundthat the respondents are dominant to choose the statemen” unberdened on doingsomething “ which are 64 respondents or 80%, while the less dominant is the statement“ being honest and polite to parents “ which are 5 respondents or 6.25%. If the databecomes a benchmark is very often (SS) and often (S) so the total is 80,41%.Therefore, it can be concluded that the level of honesty of scout student activity units isin the very good level.

Abstract

This research was supported by pancasila as a view of life of indonesia nation, because pancasila essentially is not only a result of thinking contemplation of a person or group of people as ideologies in the world. However it is extracted from values of manners, culture, and religious contained in indonesia nation. As well as the implementation of traditional marriage ceremony of Petalangan society in district of Bandar Petalangan Pelalawan done from generations to generations. This formulation of problem was whether the values of pancasila contained in traditional marriage ceremony of Petalangan society in district of Bandar Petalangan Pelalawan. The purpose of this research is to determine the values of pancasila contained in traditional marriage ceremony of Petalangan society in district of Bandar Petalangan Pelalawan. The population in this research was all societies of district of Bandar Petalangan Pelalawan which had married. While the technique of sampling using Purposif Sampling technique as many as 50 people from 4.038 households who were married. The technique of accumulating data used in this research was using queastionnare, interviewing and documenting. The technique of data analysis used in this research was descriptive quantitative. The result of this research indicated 6 dominant indicators that were values of pancasila with average of the respondents answer percentage to the answer “yes” for (91,47%), and 6 less dominant indicators that were values of pancasila with average of the respondents answer percentage to the answer “yes” for (79,33%). So it could be totalled from the result of percentage of 50 respondents saying that there were values of pancasila in traditional marriage ceremony of Petalangan society for (85,4%), included in the benchmark “yes” were among 50,01%-100%. So in this research proved that traditional marriage ceremony of Petalangan society in district of Bandar Petalangan Pelalawan contained values of pancasila.

Abstract

Compentency is expected in biotechnology subjects learning requires student to make it more in learning. It requiresd a real effort both from lectures and from students. Class Action Research has been conducted (PTK), which aims to improve the activity and the results of studying Biotechnology with the type STAD cooperative learning based audio visual media in class of PGMIPA-U Biology FKIP UR. The result of data analysis cycle I and cycle II showed an increase in student learning activities for all indicator. The improvement of the student activity everage from I cycle about 69,46% up to II cycle about 89%. An increase in student activity 20.5%. Learning outcomes of students in I cycle and II cycle also increased. The average value of learning outcomes students increased from pre-cycle 71.35 to 75.55 in I cycle and then from I cycle 75.55 to 84.15 in II cycle. Generally its can be said that the use of cooperative learning model type STAD based Audio visual in biotechnology teaching can anhance students learning outcome.. Abstract

This reserach was done based on the preliminary observation in the researher class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Rumbio Jaya. The researcher did tests to the students as much as 25 items, students got difficulties in comprehending the material. As many as 88% students made mistakes in answering questions. They got score below tahn 75, so it did not reach the minimum completeness criteria (KKM); over 75. Only 12% of students were able to answer questions. Their difficulty in answering the question because they were not full attention when learning in the classroom. The researcher implemented Teams Games Tournament to motivate students by applying Classroom Action research the result of students based on the analysis data, the problems shown in the learning process was primarily the result of economic study on the subject of the financial markets for students of class XI IPS SMAN 1 Rumbio Jaya improved by usingthe strategy of Teams Games Tournamen (TGT) t and it had shown satisfactory results.

Abstract

This was a Classroom action research which focused on improving students’ ability in studying Geography in weather and climates. Based on the observation of the researcherat class X SMA Negeri 1 Salo found some problemsespecially in the classroom X.5. Most students did not understand the material being taughtby the teachers. Observations that have been made with giving 25 questions in the form of essays, student got difficulties in understanding the material. 86% students made mistakes in answering questions. Their score below 75, so they did not reach the minimum completeness criteria (KKM); over 75. Only 14% students were able to answer questions.Their difficulty in answering the question because they were not full attention when learning in the classroom.The reseacher solved the problem by using role play in this subject then after cycle 1, the result of the average value of students increased to 67.71. This means the ability to learn geography on the subject of weather and climate for the students at the level of 61-80 ability (good), but has not reached the standard minimum completeness criteria (KKM) yet; above 75.In cycle 2, the result of the average value of students increased to be 78.86. It means being able to read the text of the students were at the level of 61-80 ability (good). This value was higher than the standard minimum completeness criteria (KKM); over 75
