Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Rooftop Solar Power Plant (PLTS Atap) policy as regulated under the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Regulation Number 26 of 2021 and its amendment, Regulation Number 2 of 2024, with a focus on the industrial sector, particularly PT Uni-Charm Indonesia Tbk. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the PLTS Atap policy has been interpreted and executed by private industries, the challenges encountered in its implementation, and its contribution to improving corporate environmental performance. The study also seeks to explore how corporate actors respond to state-led energy transition initiatives and adapt their business strategies to comply with renewable energy regulations. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this research relies on primary and secondary data collected through interviews, field observations, and document studies. The research applies the policy implementation model by Van Meter and Van Horn as its analytical framework, combined with the principles of Good Environmental Governance (GEG) and the concept of sustainable energy transition. This combination allows for a comprehensive understanding of the institutional, technical, and behavioral factors influencing the adoption of rooftop solar power systems in industrial settings. The findings indicate that the implementation of PLTS Atap policy at PT Uni-Charm Indonesia Tbk has generally been successful, supported by managerial commitment, adequate resources, and cooperation between government agencies and private actors. The company’s adoption of rooftop solar power has resulted in tangible improvements in energy efficiency, cost reduction, and carbon emission mitigation, contributing to national and global climate action goals. However, the implementation process has also faced obstacles, including regulatory changes, administrative complexity, and the absence of consistent financial incentives. Despite these challenges, the PLTS Atap initiative represents a progressive step toward realizing Indonesia’s clean energy transition and enhancing private sector involvement in environmental governance.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of employee performance and work discipline on work productivity at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 2 Cirebon. The background of this research arises from the observed decline in productivity among employees, despite existing performance management and disciplinary frameworks within the organization. The study aims to determine both the partial and simultaneous effects of performance and discipline on productivity, providing empirical evidence to support managerial policy and human resource development within public enterprises. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 60 employees, selected randomly from a population of 150. Statistical analysis was performed using multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that employee performance and work discipline each have a positive and significant effect on work productivity. Moreover, when tested simultaneously, both variables jointly explain 57.8% of the variation in productivity levels. The study reveals that discipline plays a more dominant role than performance in determining productivity outcomes. This research underscores the importance of integrating performance management with strict adherence to work discipline. It recommends continuous monitoring, employee engagement, and reinforcement of organizational behavior to ensure sustained productivity in public sector institutions.

Abstract

This study seeks to examine the impact of hemodialysis services on patient satisfaction at the 06.03.01 Ciremai Level III Hospital. Hemodialysis is a critical medical treatment that requires a high level of professionalism and rigorous quality standards, as it is directly associated with the safety and quality of life of individuals suffering from chronic kidney failure. High service quality not only reflects the hospital’s overall performance but also enhances patient confidence and contributes to the institution’s public image. The research applied a quantitative method using a descriptive and correlational approach. The population consisted of all 80 patients receiving hemodialysis therapy at Ciremai Hospital, with 44 respondents selected through accidental sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire developed according to the SERVQUAL service quality framework, which includes five dimensions: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The findings demonstrate that the quality of hemodialysis services has a positive and statistically significant influence on patient satisfaction. Correlation analysis produced a coefficient of 0.331 with a significance value of 0.015, indicating a moderate and positive relationship between service quality and satisfaction. This suggests that improvements in service delivery are associated with higher levels of patient satisfaction. Among the SERVQUAL dimensions, empathy and responsiveness were identified as the most influential factors, whereas tangibles showed the weakest effect. Overall, the study highlights the necessity of enhancing service quality, particularly in communication, prompt responsiveness, and individualized patient care. Hospitals are encouraged to further promote a culture of excellent service by providing continuous training for medical staff, upgrading supporting facilities, and implementing regular evaluations of service quality.

Abstract

Preoperative anxiety is a common psychological problem experienced by surgical patients and may affect both physical and psychological readiness prior to surgery. Various nursing interventions and forms of social support have been developed to reduce preoperative anxiety; however, the scientific evidence regarding their patterns and underlying mechanisms remains fragmented. This study aimed to map the forms of social support, nursing interventions, and mechanisms involved in reducing preoperative anxiety among surgical patients. A scoping review methodology was employed, involving a literature search across four electronic databases. Articles that met the inclusion criteria were analyzed and mapped using a charting table covering study objectives, types of interventions or social support, underlying mechanisms, and reported outcomes. A total of 20 articles were included in this review. The findings indicate that informational support through preoperative education, emotional and professional support from healthcare providers, and non-pharmacological interventions such as breathing relaxation techniques and spiritual approaches play a significant role in reducing preoperative anxiety. The identified mechanisms include reduced uncertainty, enhanced psychological coping, and regulation of physiological stress responses. This scoping review highlights the importance of a holistic nursing approach in preoperative care and provides a foundation for the development of evidence-based interventions to improve the quality of care for surgical patients.

Abstract

KW Well in the S Field is a development well in Bojonegoro, East Java, drilled with the AAM #18 ZJ70DBS 2000 HP rig. Drilling activities in the oil and gas sector frequently encounter risks, one of which is a well kick, defined as the entry of formation fluids into the wellbore that can escalate into a blowout. This research focuses on implementing the Wait and Weight method to manage a kick in KW Well, after the Driller’s Method had initially been applied. The Wait and Weight technique was selected because it lowers pressure at the casing shoe, completes control with a single circulation, and works well in loss-prone formations. The analysis used field data such as casing and drill string dimensions, hole size, LOT results, depth, initial mud weight, pump rate, shut-in drill pipe and casing pressures, and pit gain. The kick occurred due to hydrostatic pressure being insufficient to balance formation pressure. Using the Wait and Weight method required 3,679.84 pump strokes and 122.66 minutes of pumping. In contrast, the Driller’s Method needed 6,227.16 strokes and 3 hours 28 minutes. This comparison shows that the Wait and Weight method is more efficient in both time and pump strokes, making it a preferable option for managing kicks under similar well conditions.
