Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to examine how much influence the use of social media, electronic word of mouth and trust as an intermediary variable and about the factors that influence hotel consumer purchasing decisions in the digital era 4.0, where trust is an intermediate variable. The increasing number of competitors raises the enthusiasm of business people to further improve their services. Tourism is one sector that plays an important role in national economic growth. The current conditions faced by companies engaged in lodging service providers are how to change offline marketing strategies leading to online marketing to optimize room occupancy rates. The population used in this study is all Balinese people who are domestic consumers who have stayed at hotels in Bali. Data collection is done using the online questionnaire method through Google Form. The sampling method in this study is convenience sampling, where sampling is based on the availability of elements and the ease of obtaining them. The number of samples used in this study were 100 people. The analysis technique used to analyze the data is SEM (Structural Equation Model). The results of this study indicate, (1) the usage of social media variable to trust is a positive and significant effect that has a standardized estimate (regression weight) of 0.333, (2) the usage of social media variable to  purchase decision involvement is a positive and significant effect that has a standardized estimate (regression weight) of 0.089, (3) the electronic word of mouth variable to trust is a positive and significant effect that has a standardized estimate (regression weight) of 0.315, (4) the electronic word of mouth variable to purchase decision involvement is a positive and significant effect which has a standardized estimate (regression weight) of 0.089, (5) the variable Subjective Age for trust is a positive and significant effect which has a standardized estimate (regression weight) of 0.439, (6) the variable Subjective Age to purchase decision involvement is a positive and significant effect that has standardize estimate (regression weight) of 0.319, (7) the variable trust in purchase decision involvement is a positive and significant effect that has a standardized estimate (regression weight) of 0.494.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of technical guidance, facilities and incentives to performance Bhabinkamtibmas Polres Deli Serdang. The population in this study was the entire personnel of the Bhabinkamtibmas Polres Deli Serdang amounting to 230 people. The sample is used as many as 40 personnel Bhabinkamtibmas who are the rank of Bripka. The data collection techniques in this study are documentation and questionnaire list. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression analyses, classical assumption Test T, Test f and coefficient of determination. Data processing in this study uses the program SPSS 22.00 for Windows Software. Based on the results of the research conducted, from a partial test of guidance to significant impact on performance. Partial testing of facilities has significant effect on performance. Incentive partial testing has significant effect on performance. Simultaneous testing of the influence of technical guidance, facilities and incentives has significant effect on performance.

Abstract

                       ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the strategy of increasing HR competency in the Rural Credit Banks (BPR) of Denpasar City. This study used qualitative research methods. The collection technique used in this study was using the method of interview, observation, and documentation study. Data analysis in this study uses data reduction, data display, and data conclusion drawing/ verification. The results of this study indicate that the strategy of improving HR competencies and the quality of work of each employee can be obtained from the results of the implementation of education and training (training). This can be assessed from changes in attitudes of each employee, knowledge and skills of employees, and the emergence of new innovations that are useful for improving HR competencies, the motivations given by superiors at PT. BPR Bali Dananiaga which plays an important and maximum role in providing the best experience, so that it will improve the performance of employees in the agency. This research can be useful for the leadership of PT. BPR Bali Dananiaga in decision making and also as an important reference to choose the type of education and training (training) that is needed by employees so that what is obtained from the results of the implementation of education and training (training) can be applied in their respective workplaces.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to determine the effect of cultural transformation, total quality management, employee productive behavior on employee performance and corporate image. The design of this research is quantitative, is the relationship of causality between variables. Research conducted at PT. Bali Regional Development Bank. Data collection techniques used questionnaires to 123 employees. Data were analyzed by data analysis technique Structure Equation Modeling with AMOS program. The results show that the direct influence of cultural transformation, total quality management and employee productive behavior on employee performance is significant positive. This means that the better the cultural transformation, the total quality management and employee productive behavior, the higher the employee's performance. In addition there is also a positive and significant influence between cultural transformation, total quality management, employee productive behavior and employee performance of corporate image. Employee performance changes influenced by 52.5% by cultural transformation variables, total quality management and employee productive behavior. While the change of corporate image is affected by 80.1% by cultural transformation, total quality management, employee productive behavior and employee performance.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of competence, training, and motivation on employee performance (a case study of a Surakarta municipal water company). This type of research is quantitative. This research uses primary data. The sample in this study were 112 respondents taken from Surakarta regional water company (PDAM) employees who had competence in their fields, and had received training and motivation from the company. The sampling technique uses simple purposive. Data collection method using a questionnaire. The results showed that competency had a significant effect on the performance as evidenced by the t value of 4.381; a significance value of 0,000 <0.05. The training did not significantly influence the performance as evidenced by the t value of 1.232; a significance value of 0.221> 0.05. Motivation has a significant effect on the performance as evidenced by the t value of 3.074; significance value 0.003 <0.05.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to find out how the method of developing human resource competencies with the Spencer theory approach for employees and to find out how the application of Spencer's theory in evaluating the competencies of employees. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis method. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews with informants and documentation. The selection of informants is done by purposive sampling method. The results of the study show the model of human resource competency development with the Spencer theory approach for contract employees at the City Youth and Sports Education Office in Denpasar through training and training to contract employees in performing assigned tasks to improve their competency. The application of Spencer's theory in competency evaluation of contract employees at the Department of Youth and Sports Education in Denpasar City is good because contract employees can complete their responsibilities on time. Competency development Achievement orientation cannot be done maximally because there are complaints from contract employees regarding compensation in the form of wages. The wage already has standards regulated by the local government as well as laws that cannot be easily changed. Future research is expected to be able to use more competency indicators in terms of evaluating employee performance by adding other theories and adding other factors of competence that can be used in evaluating an employee's performance.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to examine the management of Sharia Pegadaian in building consumer trust in gold pawning. This study used qualitative research methods. The data collection technique used are interview documentation studies. Data analysis uses reduction techniques, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that Sharia management at Pegadaian has been running in increasing consumer confidence in gold pawning. The evidence comes from the increasing number of consumers for gold pawning every month at the Kartini Sharia Pawnshop. Motivation and support of the Kartini Sharia Pawnshop Branch Leader makes employees feel happy and comfortable so that employee performance can be maintained to the maximum. This consumer trust can be seen from the attitudes and interests of consumers who transact at Kartini Sharia Pawnshop. In addition to gold pawning, consumers can also invest in gold, purchase motorized vehicles, pilgrimage, and pay for electricity, telephone, water and insurance at Pegadaian. Like the motto of Pegadaian overcoming problems without problems. This research is useful in providing input to maintain consumer trust in the withdrawal of consumer savings for the nearest area, especially Denpasar, especially for institutions, traders and micro and medium business owners. Therefore, it is expected that further researchers will discuss more about ways to increase consumers for gold pawns and other products in a more modern way along with the era that continues to advance.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research studies about taxpayers compliance level both corporate and institutional taxpayers with an annual gross turnover below IDR 4.8 billion following the Government Regulation No 46 Year 2013 with 1% tax rate on gross turnover in Gianyar Small Taxpayers Office, and efforts which must be undertook by Gianyar Small Taxpayers Office to elevate tax compliance and to obtain potential taxpayers to register for tax identification number (NPWP).Population used in this research are institutional and individual taxpayers registered in Gianyar Small Taxpayers Office and tax officers including Account Representatives and Chief of Monitoring and Consulting Section. Data collecting perfomed by profound interview method. Participants determined by purposive sampling technique and the validity of analysis result verification by data triangulation. The results of this research show that taxpayers violation is contributed by five factors, which are, Taxpayers awareness, tax officers service quality, perception on tax administration effectivity, tax simplicity, and tax penalties. Efforts executed by Gianyar Small Taxpayers Office in escalating taxpayers compliance include decreasing tax rate, prevalent socialization in all over the place regarding methods of tax reporting and payment, performing excellent service, imposing administration charge equitably for all taxpayers, and alternate solutions availability for technology illiterate taxpayers.Efforts should be made for obtaining new Taxpayers are sweeping to strategic business location, data searching through internet or third parties and socialization to encompass unregistered Taxpayers. Policy and theoretical implication in this study have given empirical evidence over factors causing taxpayers incompliance, efforts needed to be done to elevate compliance and to obtain new unregistered Taxpayers so that it can give contribution to DGT to increase taxpayers compliance in completing their tax obligation. For future research, it is expected to use measurement other than Planned of Behavior theory used in this study, for instance, atribution theory, and the others so that comparation can be done for more extensive and accurate results.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe research method used in this study is a quantitative method, the independent variables used in this study consist of company size, and profitability while the dependent variable is the capital structure. The population in this study are food and beverage sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2013-2017 period. Sample selection through purposive sampling method. There are 9 (nine) companies that have criteria as research samples, so that the research data totaled 45 data. Data collection techniques used are document review, the data analyzed are annual financial reports (annual report), previous research journals and other literature relating to research problems. Data processing and analysis techniques include financial management analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, classic assumption test, hypothesis test, coefficient of determination test and coefficient of determination test. The results showed that the company size partially had no effect and no significant effect on capital structure, and profitability was partially positive and significant effect on capital structure. While simultaneously the size of the company, and profitability affect the capital structure.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the work motivation, organizational culture and competence on the performance of teachers in SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Aek Kanopan. The population in this study is all teachers of SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Aek Kanopan that amounted to 40 people. The data collection techniques in this study are documentation and poll list. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression analyses, classical assumption Test T, Test f and coefficient of determination. Data processing in this study uses the program SPSS 22.00 for Windows Software. Based on the results of the research conducted, from the partial testing influence of work motivation to the performance of the teacher obtained the value of sig (2 tailed) amounting to 0.005 smaller than a 0.05, then the motivation is declared a significant effect on the performance of teachers . A partial testing of organizational culture influences the teacher's performance gained a sig value of 0.003 smaller than a 0.05, hence the organizational culture revealed to be a significant impact on teacher performance. A partial test of competency influence on the teacher's performance obtained a sig value of 0.022 smaller than a 0.05, so it is stated that the competency has significant effect on the teacher's performance. Simultaneous testing of the influence of work Motiovasi, organizational culture and competency in the teacher's performance obtained a sig value of 0.000 smaller than a 0.05, then expressed work motivation, organizational culture and competencies are significant effect on Teacher's performance.
