Abstract

Aggression behavior among high school students or teenagers is still often found, for example: brawls, bullying. A person will behave aggressively so he will think first in acting so that he is able to manage himself (self management).The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between self management and aggression behavior in high school students. This study uses a quantitative non-experimental approach. The subjects were 217 students of class X and XI SMA taken by stratified sampling technique. The research instrument uses the scale of aggression behavior and self management scale. The method of data analysis was the product moment correlation. Data analysis was carried out with the help of SPSS version 22.0. The results showed a value (r) of -0.122 with p was 0.037 <0.05. This shows that there is a significant negative relationship between self management and aggression behavior in high school students. The contribution of self management to aggression behavior is 1,5% (=0.015)

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan gambaran kematangan emosi dan faktor yang mempengaruhi kematangan emosi siswa TK B yang memiliki kematangan kognitif tinggi di TK swasta di Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Subyek penelitian berjumlah 3 orang siswa siswi TK B yang memiliki kematangan kognititf tinggi. Penentuan subyek penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masing-masing subyek menunjukkan gambaran kematangan emosi yang baik dan faktor yang mempengaruhi dalam mencapai kematangan emosi bervariasi, ada yang sama dan ada pula yang berbeda. Namun penelitian ini tidak dapat mengungkap gambaran pada jenis kelamin, faktor usia perkembangan dan perubahan fisik, sebab usia anak yang relative sama, berat badan serta tinggi badan yang sesuai strandart tingkat usia juga relative sama. Implikasi untuk penelitian ini bagi siswa yang belum memiliki kematangan emosi yang tinggi di harapkan guru dan orang tua mengembangkan kematangan emosi anak dengan mempertimbangkan  karakteristik anak di antaranya yaitu kognitif anak.

Abstract

Perilaku konsumtif adalah fenomena masyarakat saat ini dimana mereka dalam mengkonsumsi suatu barang tidak lagi untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya melainkan untuk pemenuhan kepuasan. Seiring dengan hal tersebut telah muncul sosok pria baru yang disebut metroseksual dimana mereka memiliki perilaku belanja konsumtif untuk menyempurnakan penampilannya, apabila seseorang belum memiliki kematangan emosi maka dia akan cenderung untuk mengkonsumsi barang secara berlebihan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara kematangan emosi dengan perilaku konsumtif pada pria metroseksual. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Jumlah subyek sebanyak 80 orang pria metroseksual. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan negatif antara kematangan emosi dengan perilaku konsumtif pada pria metroseksual dibuktikan dengan hasil perhitungan korelasi product moment. Semakin tinggi kematangan emosi maka akan semakin rendah perilaku konsumtif pada pria metroseksual, begitu juga sebaliknya semakin rendah kematangan emosi maka akan semakin tinggi perilaku konsumtif pada pria metroseksual (r = -0,701; p = <0,01).Kata kunci: Job insecurity, stres kerja, perawat

Abstract

Moral intelligence is a person's ability to determine right behavior and wrong behavior. High moral quality is needed as a benchmark for successful children in their social life. Students who have moral intelligence that is low in integrity in students are not formed, lack responsibility, do not think about other people's feelings when they hurt or behave, and easily act as desired. Lennick and Kiel formulated moral intelligence in four aspects, namely: integrity, responsibility, compassion, and forgiveness. The increase of a behavioral determination is not limited to instinct or children learning independently but from a character education. Sociodrama can be one method of increasing moral intelligence, because there are supporting indicators in sociodrama. This study aims to determine the effect of sociodrama methods on increasing moral intelligence in junior high school students. The research subjects were 26 who were divided into two control groups and the experimental group who had moderate and low scores on moral intelligence. This study used a quasi experiment with a control group design pre-test and post-test. Data analysis used paired sample t test, the results showed a difference between the pre-test and post-test score (r = 21,923 and p = 0,000 (p <0,05), so it can be concluded that the results of the study indicate a significant change from sociodrama intervention in improving moral intelligence in junior high school students.

Abstract

Learning achievement is influenced by several factors such as internal factors or external factors. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of self-efficacy and social support of peers on learning achievement simultaneously or together. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling in one of the existing SMA N in Woha District, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. The subjects in this study were 150 high school students in class X. The method of data collection in this study uses a scale of self-efficacy and social support of peers and reporr cards. The results of the multiple regression test analysis showed that self-efficacy and social support of peers simultaneously or simultaneously affect the learning achievement with an influence contribution of 25,0%.

Abstract

Self-help skills are an important ability to support daily life activities. One of the skills is self-dressing, especially for children which entering puberty. Yet, children with intellectual disability have difficulties in conducting self-help skills. A child with intellectual disability, especially children with moderate-severe intellectual disability, needs support in almost everyday. Eventhough, we have to teaching them to be independent and improves their quality of life. The subject for this research was a boy aged 10 years who were diagnosed with moderate intellectual disability. The purpose is to improve the ability of wearing sleeves independently. The method is single AB design. Technique used is backward chaining, prompting, and positive reinforcement. This research was conducted in 9 sessions, each having 5 trials. The results of this research is behavior modification program of wearing sleeves independently using backward chaining techniques can improve the ability of self-dressing in children with intellectual disability.

Abstract

Keyakinan seseorang akan kemampuannya untuk mencapai tujuan (Self efficacy)  diperlukan siswa untuk dapat  menghadapi Ujian Nasional (UN) dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan self efficacy dengan kecemasan dalam menghadapi ujian nasional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini 70 siswa SMK kelas 3. Metode pengumpulan data adalah skala, dengan skala likert. Metode analisa data adalah korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar -0,615dan (p) = 0,000 hal ini menandakan adanya hubungan negatif yang sangat signifikan antara variabel self efficacy dengan variabel kecemasan. Hal ini berarti apabila self efficacy tinggi maka kecemasan menghadapi ujian nasional rendah, dan sebaliknya jika nilai self efficacy rendah maka kecemasan dalam menghadapi ujian nasional tinggi. Nilai koefisien determinan ( ) = 0,378, yang bermakna bahwa variabel self efficacy mampu menjelaskan variabel kecemasan menghadapi ujian nasional sebesar 37,8%, sisanya sebesar 62,2% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Kata kunci: Self efficacy, Kecemasan a person's belief in his/her ability to achieve the goals is need student to convince the students could face the national examination well because students sometime get an anxiety in facing the national examinations. Otherwise, if the students have high self-efficacy then the students will have low anxiety because those students are already convinced of their ability. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of self-efficacy with the anxiety of facing national examinations. The type of this research is quantitative research. The populations in this study are the students of 3rd grade of vocational school. The methods of collecting the data is scale, by using Likert scale. While the method of data analysis used product moment correlation..Based on the data analysis, it obtained that the correlation of coefficient (r) is -0.615 and (p) = 0.000 it indicates that there is a relationship of negative direction which very significant between self-efficacy variable with the anxiety variable. This means if the self-efficacy is high so the anxiety of facing national exams is low and the vice versa if the value of self-efficacy is low, the anxiety of facing national exam is high. The value of determinant coefficient (R2) = 0.378, which means that the self-efficacy variable could explain the anxiety variable of facing national exams at 37.8%, the other is 62.2% influenced by other. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh optimisme dan kesadaran diri terhadap adversity quotient mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Malang yang sedang menempuh skripsi sambil bekerja. Penelitian dilakukan di Universitas Negeri Malang, dengan subjek 88 mahasiswa. Subjek dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Alat mengumpulan data berupa skala optimisme, kesadaran diri dan adversity quotient. Skala optimisme terdiri dari 16 item valid dengan reliabilitas 0,813 skala kesadaran diri terdiri dari 21 item valid dengan reliabilitas 0,907 dan skala adversity quotient terdiri dari 38 item valid dengan reliabilitas 0,905. Model regresi berganda dengan bantuan IBMSPSS statistic 20 digunakan sebagai teknik untuk menganalisa data. Hasil dari uji regresi menunjukan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 yang menjelaskan terdapat pengaruh optimisme dan kesadaran diri secara bersamaan terhadap adversity quotient pada mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Malang yang Menempuh skripsi sambil bekerja sebesar 54,3 % sedangkan sisanya dapat dipengaruhi variabel lain. Secara parsial optimisme memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap adversity quotient. Begitu juga pada variabel kesadaran diri secara parsial memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap adversity quotient.

Abstract

Kehadiran seorang anak yang merupakan harapan bagi orang tua. Harapan orang tua memiliki anak yang terlahir normal, sehat fisik maupun psikis. Akan tetapi, tidak semua anak lahir dengan sempurna sesuai harapan orang tua. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji tingkat kekuatan karakter yang dimiliki oleh orang tua dengan anak berkebutuhan khusus. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Adapun alat ukur yang digunakan adalah skala values in action theory.  dari ke 24 character strength atau kekuatan karakter yang diteliti, Berdasar hasil penelitian terhadap seratus orangtua, terdapat 5 aspek yang memiliki total nilai tertinggi dibandingkan dengan karakter lainnya. 5 aspek tersebut diantaranya adalah spirituality (kerohanian), gratitude (rasa bersyukur), hopefulness (harapan), forgiveness (rasa untuk memaafkan),dan curiosity (rasa keingintahuan).

Abstract

Body image is a form of self-assessment which appears based on societies? perspective. Someone will categorized their self whether they are included or not to the standard of beauty. This condition leads to the satisfaction of their body. However, some experts argue that happiness is a synonym of life satisfaction. It can be concluded that someone will happy when they have been satisfaction to their life. Women in early adulthood have a tendency to focus on their appearance (self-focused). Therefore, they are more focus to take care of their self rather than being involved in social obligation. This current study was conducted to investigate whether body image had an influence or not to the happiness level especially on the women in early adulthood. The total subjects were 150 people. They applied body image scale which is developed by the researcher used body image aspects from cash and happiness scale based on the Subjective Happiness Scale and Satisfaction of Life. The result of this current study showed that there was an influence with r square score = 0,234. In conclusion, variable X (body image) was influence to variable Y (happiness) with 23, 4% of influence score.
