Abstract

The coastal area of Tanalili District has many coastal and marine natural resources. However, its utilization has not been well managed and has resulted in uncontrolled utilization. This research aimed to: (1) Identify the condition and potential of coastal natural resources (2) Analyze the suitability of land to its designation (3) Integrate land use zoning (4) Determine coastal and marine area development strategies. This research was conducted in January to March 2018. Potential of coastal resources, land suitability and zoning were analyzed using a Geographic Information System (GIS) and SWOT for development analysis. The results of this study indicate the area of 96.38 Ha mangrove ecosystem, seagrass 31,68 Ha, coral reefs 192,81 Ha. Zoning area showed a general utilization area of 6.132,49 Ha which was divided into 4 zones; aquaculture zone with an area of 1.012,31 Ha, capture fisheries zone with an area of 4.875,76 Ha, a port zone with an area of 46,91 Ha and other zones covering an area of 197,51 Ha. The area of marine protected area is 1,393.99 Ha and the regional sea lanes for shipping activities is 526.88 Ha. The results of the development policy analysis were the provision of a potential data base, the formation of business groups in accordance with the potential, compilation of management plans according to zoning, improvement of human resources quality both the community and related stakeholders and rehabilitation programs to control physical damage to the coast and ecosystems by involving the community.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Juli-September 2019 in the Intensive Bone Pond SUPM Negeri Bone, Bone Regency. This study aims to: (1) Describe the condition of the study site for pond intercropping patterns; (2) Knowing the type and density of mangroves at the study site; (3) Assessing the role of mangroves as biofilter for the pollution of vaname shrimp pond cultivation. The method used in data collection is done by direct measurement to the field for water quality at the location of the pond, the type and density of mangroves determined by using transects. The results showed that the pond intercropping pattern used in the Bone State SUPM Pond was a model of an open trench pond. The type of mangrove that dominates the research location is Rhizopora mucronata and for vegetation density each station was different where in the tree category station 1 had a vegetation density of 0.48 ind / m², station II was 0.87 ind / m², station III was 1.06 ind / m². For the stake category 1 station has a vegetation density of 0.24 ind / m², station II is 0.08 ind / m², station III is 0.68 ind / m². For the seedling category station 1 has a vegetation density of 77 ind / m², station II is 32 ind / m², station III is 15 ind / m². Mangroves in the vicinity of SUPM Bone Bone can play a role as biofilter for the pollution of vaname shrimp aquaculture results with measurements of water quality before and after passing through mangroves decreased

Abstract

This research was conducted in August-September 2019 in three (3) subdistricts in Tanete Riattang Timur District, namely Waetuo, Panyula and Toro. The objectives of this study is to formulate priority management strategies for vaname shrimp ponds against the distribution of parasitic diseases. Data were collected by measuring water quality directly at each pond and interviewing shrimp farmers, Head of Marine and Fisheries Agency, fishery extension agents and lecturers of Marine and Fisheries Polytechnics of Bone in the field fish disease. Data were analyzed using both descriptive analysis and Process Hierarchy Analysis (AHP). The results showed that management of vaname shrimp ponds against parasitic diseases distribution was still lack of attention. Vaname shrimp pond management strategies against parasitic diseases distribution in the District of Tanete Riattang Timur, Bone regency, South Sulawesi was directed at the aspect of water quality. Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the potential of mangrove resources in the study area, analyze the damage to mangrove forests in the study area, and formulate management strategies in the research area that repair mangrove damage. The method used in this study is the analysis of the level of damage based on a direct survey of mangrove conditions, interpretation of Landsat 8 imagery for changes in mangrove cover area, interviews and questionnaires for mangrove economic valuations and SWOT analysis for strategic direction directives. results obtained from mangrove conditions for Rhizopora apiculata showed the highest percentage of closure was 57.81%. The results of image interpretation also showed a reduction and additional area from 2015 to 2019 and for the total economic value in the village of Nisombalia at the time of the study amounted to 35,442,557,718 Million Rupiah. There are 2 directions of mangrove ecosystem rehabilitation strategies which are the main priorities in Nisombalia Village, namely: 1) Restoring mangrove functions in accordance with the ecological rehabilitation space pattern, 2) procurement of mangrove cultivation facilities (nurseries and seedlings) which are managed directly by the community.

Abstract

Mapping Pattern of Garbage Distribution by Type on the Kuri Coastal Coast of Maros Regency. This study aimed to identify and map the pattern of waste distribution based on the type and size of the Kuri coast and formulate a strategy for managing the distribution of waste patterns on the Kuri coast. The method used in this study is a questionnaire distribution method (questionnaire) carried out by way of giving questionnaires to the respondents, identification of waste, mapping using GPS and SWOT analysis to determine the direction of the strategy. The most dominant type of waste in each location was soft plastic waste with a percentage of 40.51% and based on a map of the distribution of marine garbage collection points in 2019 in the Kuri Caddi Hamlet, it is known that almost all over the coast bordering the sea contributes to the pollution of marine trash, especially rubbish Plastic. The direction of the management strategy was the first priority, namely : 1) Preparation and enforcement of waste management regulations in the form of PERDA or regulations covering sorting from prohibited sources and sanctions, 2) Oversight of oceanic waste reaching the shore and which will settle in waters and Assistance in the activities of garbage banks and composting.

Abstract

This study aims (1) to analyze the relationship between external and internal factors on the sustainability of the marine tourism of Osi Island and (2) formulate a model for the development of marine tourism in Osi Island. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. Data sources are tourists who are and have been to Osi Island. Techniques used in data collection include field studies / observations and literature studies. Data analysis was performed using a strucktural equation model (SEM) analysis with AMOS analysis tools. The results showed that: (1) Variable internal and external factors significantly influence the sustainability of tourism on Osi Island where human resources are more dominant to contribute to this due to community awareness in the local village in terms of maintaining cleanliness and managing existing nature. Based on this it can be said that in terms of environmental aspects the marine tourism area of Osi Island has fulfilled what is said to be sustainable. (2) the final model of this research is interpreted for the future development plan of Osi Island where the development plan must be based on the vision of sustainable tourism and because Osi Island is a self-managed tourism area, it can develop a community-based tourism model with all stakeholders related namely the central government, local government, etc. can participate in the development both directly and indirectly so that the impact of the development of the model results in an independent community from all aspects.
