Abstract

Caulerpa lentillifera seaweed is a seaweed that has high economic value and is widely loved by people in the country and abroad. However, the production of Caulerpa lentillifera itself has not been sufficient because it is seasonal. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to increase the production of Caulerpa sp. by applying fertilizer in its cultivation. This study aims to determine the dosage (MOL) of water hyacinth that can provide the best growth and production as well as to determine the nutritional quality of Caulerpa sp. This study used a Complete Randomized Design (RAL) with 4 treatments and 3 replicates, with each MOL administered; Treatment A (control), Treatment B (5 mL MOL/L water), Treatment C (6 mL MOL/L water), and Treatment D (7 mL MOL/L water). The data was analyzed by the ANOVA Test and continued by the Duncan Test. that the administration of MOL water hyacinth with a dose of 6 mL MOL/L of water was the best dose for the growth, production, and nutritional quality of Caulerpa lentillifera. Water hyacinth in Caulerpa lentillifera can exert markedly different effects on absolute growth, specific growth rate, production, moisture content, protein, crude fat, crude fiber, BETN, and ash. The best treatment is C treatment (6 ml MOL/L water).

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of different feed doses on the growth and survival of barramundi (Lates calcarifer) pups. To find out the best optimal dose for the growth and survival of juvenile Barramundi (Lates calcarifer). Held for 6 weeks from October to November 2022 at Takalar Brackish Water Aquaculture Fishery Center (BBPBAP), Mappakalompo Village, Galesong District, Takalar Regency. The materials used in the study were barramundi seed size: ±5.74 cm as test animals, 3000 grams of commercial chow as treatment chow, and seawater as rearing medium. The feeding dose is 3% for treatment A, 8% for treatment B and 13%/BB for treatment C, with a frequency of 3 times a day. Spread evenly on the maintenance container. Water quality management is done by measuring water quality, namely dissolved oxygen, temperature and pH. In addition, a suction of uneaten food and fish waste is carried out. This research method used a fully randomized design (CRD) consisting of three treatments and three replicates. Treatment A 3%, Treatment B 5% and Treatment C 13%/BB. Based on absolute weight gain, absolute length gain, daily growth rate and survival rate, treatment B 8% had a significant impact on snapper fry growth. The survival rate is 90.00% to 96.67%, which is relatively high and indicates a high survival rate due to good feed management. The efficiency of feed conversion resulting from feed and different doses of meal showed a significant comparison (<0.05), giving an optimal value of 93.92% compared to treatment A 3% and treatment C 13%/BB

Abstract

Grouper fishing (Plectropomus leopardus) has increased resource exploitation, this effort has an impact on the sustainability of sunu grouper resources in Spermonde waters. The purpose of this study is the fishing aspect (time of the fishing season, parameters of oceanography physics of waters and sunu grouper fishing areas). This research uses case and field study methods. The results of the study show that 1) the fishing season shows that the variation of seasons, especially the famine season, will provide opportunities for sunu grouper fish to increase recruitment and restore grouper their population. 2) Aquatic oceanographic parameters affect the production and productivity of fishermen's catches. 3) Sunu grouper fishing areas are sufficiently available for fishermen fishing based on environmental factors in Spermonde waters.
