The nutritional status of the majority of respondents are toddlers with good nutritional status of 164 (74.5%). The results of the analysis showed that there was a relationship between pulmonary infection and nutritional status of children under five at the Magelang Community health center, with a Z value of 11,432a with a significance value of 0.003 (< 0.05). Conclusion: There is a relationship between infection diseases and nutritional status of children under five at the Magelang Community health center. It is important for mothers to ensure that children are raised with good parenting and nutrition patterns, implement health protocols so that children are protected from infectious diseases that will have an impact on poor nutritional status.

Abstract

Background: Indications of labor induction is main cause maternal mortality in Central Java. Misoprostol can be used for labor induction with success rate of 46%. Besides, endorphin massage was also used to improve the success of misoprostol induction. Endorphin massage could increase endorphin and oxytocin secretion. Thus, the purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of endorphin massage on the success of induction. Methods: This study was carried out by quantitative design with quasi-experimental design and non-equivalent control group pretest post-test design. The population of this study were pregnancy women with misoprostol induction at RSUD Dr. Soedirman Kebumen that collected between January 17th to February 17th 2022, as many as 30 respondents. The participants were divided into two groups, the experimental group, which were given misoprostol induction with endorphin massage, and the control group, which were given misoprostol induction without endorphin massage. Bishop score alteration observation for misoprostol induction success was in 6 hours since misoprostol induction was given to the patient Results: The results of Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test showed significant difference in the bishop score before after the induction with endorphin massage (p=0.001;p

Abstract

Background: Human hands are often the agents that carry germs and cause pathogens to pass from one person or from nature to another through direct or indirect contact. Washing hands with water alone is more common, but it has proven to be ineffective in maintaining health compared to washing hands with soap. One of the plants that contain one or more active ingredients that can be used as an antibacterial is a plant. Turi leaves contain flavonoids, alkaloids, saponins, and tannins which have been shown to have antibacterial effects against Staphylococcus aureus and Candida sp. Turi leaf extract (Sesbania grandiflora Pers.) has antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilus, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, especially against Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Methods: This research is a quasi-experimental research (quasi-experimental). The research design used was, one group pre-post test design, namely experimental research carried out in only one group called the experimental group without any comparison group or control group. The research was carried out at the Poltekkes Campus Laboratory of the Ministry of Health, Mamuju. The instruments used consist of tools and materials to mix turi leaves with atanol. Results: 4% concentration experienced a significant decrease in microorganisms. before examining the number of microorganisms 34,000 and after examining the number of microorganisms 3,000 with a difference of 31,000 microorganisms. Concentration of 8% turi leaf extract with 70% ethanol decreased microorganisms. before checking the number of microorganisms 12,100 and after examining the number of microorganisms 4,066 with a difference of 8034 microorganisms. Concentration of 12% turi leaf extract with 70% ethanol decreased microorganisms. before checking the number of microorganisms 7,766 and after examining the number of microorganisms 3,733 with a difference of 4,033 microorganisms. Conclusion: Turi leaf extract hand soap with 70% ethanol is more effective in killing microorganisms

The incidence of cervical cancer in Magelang Regency in 2018 reached 2.3%, higher than the incidence in Central Java Province. This study aims to determine the magnitude of the risk factors for cervical lesions due to sexuality patterns in the Magelang Regency area. The purpose of this study was to determine several risk factors for the occurrence of cervical lesions and to find out what factors had the most influence on these events in Magelang Regency in 2020. By knowing the risk factors, the public knew to anticipate them. Methods: This study uses an analytical survey. The population of this study were all women who had partners of childbearing age. Samples were taken using accidental sampling, namely patients who did VIA examinations at independent practice midwives in the Magelang Regency area. The factors that contributed to the incidence of cervical lesions were the number of sexual partners (p 0.164, OR 0.378), use of assistive devices (p 0.000, OR 8.634) and frequency of sex (p 0.000, OR 2.888) Conclusion: The biggest contributor to these factors is the use of sexual aids

Abstract

In achieving the SDG's 2030 target, the government is making early detection efforts for children from pregnancy to the age of 5 years with the aim of increasing survival. The Indonesian government is making efforts to find out the growth and development of children with the SDIDTK program (stimulation of detection and intervention and growth and development). This research is a quantitative research with Two Group Pretest-Posttest Without Control Design. The technique of taking respondents using non-probability sampling. Samples taken in group 1 were 60 people and group 2 were 60 people, so that the total sample was 120 people, who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of this study indicate that there are significant changes in mothers in stimulating the growth and development of their children before and after being given demonstrations and booklets about stimulation of growth and development. The results of the t-test were 1,962 and the p-value was 0.057 (p-value > 0.05), which meant that there was no difference between growth and development stimulation skills after health education was carried out using the demonstration method or using booklet media. There needs to be involvement or active participation between health workers, mothers, toddlers and their families to cultivate a culture of stimulating growth and development in children, as well as increasing supporting facilities and infrastructure for good growth and development in health service facilities such as health centers and posyandu which are easily accessible by the community.

Abstract

Background: In 2020, the percentage of underweight children under five in Indonesia is relatively high, which is 6.7% or a total of 779,139 children under five. Wonokerto Village is the village with the highest number of underweight children under five in Turi District. This shows that the problem of under-five malnutrition is still high both in Indonesia and in the regions, even though toddlers are a golden age where the growth process occurs very rapidly and cannot be repeated. Therefore, malnutrition in toddlers needs to be addressed immediately so that growth disorders do not occur. One alternative treatment is with dry brownies of Moringa leaves. Methods: This study used Pre Experimental designs, One Group Pretest and Posttest with a sample of 34 underweight toddlers who were intervened for 21 days and analyzed their weight gain using the Paired T-Test. Results: The results showed that there was an increase in underfive weight between before and after being given moringa leaf brownies with a p value of 0.000 < 0.05.. Conclusion: The conclusion is there is an effect of providing additional food in the form of dry brownies of Moringa leaves on increasing body weight in underfives with underweight status.
