Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi hubungan kausalitas di antara kualitas jasa terhadap kepuasan siswa pada program pre-university di masa pandemi COVID-19. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa program pre-university yang diselenggarakan oleh Jakarta International College (JIC). Purposive sampling technique diadaptasi dengan beberapa kriteria sampel yang ditetapkan, yaitu responden merupakan siswa program pre-university yang diselenggarakan oleh JIC. Siswa Foundation Year (FY) yang dijadikan sampel merupakan siswa yang menjalani studi di masa pandemi COVID-19, serta siswa yang menjalani studinya melalui media daring sejak tahun 2020 – 2022. Alat analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda, serta uji instrumen dan analisis statistik deskriptif. Data empiris diolah menggunakan SPSS versi 22. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah reliabilitas, daya tanggap, jaminan, serta empati atas kualitas jasa berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan siswa. Analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa keseluruhan siswa program FY menunjukkan persepsi sangat puas atas kualitas jasa yang diberikan. Selain itu, walaupun secara statistik deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa masuk pada kategori puas hingga sangat puas, penelitian ini memberi implikasi manajerial kepada institusi penyelenggara program untuk terus meningkatkan dimensi jaminan kualitas jasa untuk kepuasan siswa. Abstract

The beauty industry is growing over time, giving rise to new problems, namely the accumulation of rubbish and cosmetic waste, therefore companies need to implement green marketing in the process. Generation Z really likes brands that always prioritize and implement green marketing. In this research, we examine the factors that influence Purchase Intention towards beauty products, especially green products in the city of Batam. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. Information data was obtained using a distributed survey method using data from 385 respondents who live in the city of Batam and were born in 1997-2012 or generation Z, sampling using a purposive sampling method. The tool used to manage data is Smart PLS. The research results prove: Attitude has a significant influence on Purchase Intention, Health Consciousness has no influence on Attitude, Perceived Behavioral Control has a significant influence on attitude, Price has a significant influence on Attitude and Subjective Norm has a significant influence on Attitude. Another finding is that Attitude mediates the influence of Environmental Concern, Perceived Behavioral Control, Subjective Norm on Purchase Intention, while Attitude does not mediate the influence of Health Consciousness on Purchase Intention. Abstract

Seiring dengan meningkatnya signifikansi platform online, situs web perguruan tinggi telah menjadi alat promosi yang efektif yang memungkinkan lembaga-lembaga tersebut bersaing dalam skala lokal maupun global. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi tren pemasaran dalam pendidikan tinggi dan memberikan wawasan tentang bagaimana universitas memanfaatkan situs web mereka untuk tujuan promosi dan representasi institusi. Studi ini menggunakan Analisis Wacana Kritis (Critical Discourse Analysis/CDA) yang mencakup fitur-fitur linguistik (teks) dan visual (gambar) pada Halaman Beranda situs web Universitas Negeri Gorontalo dan Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Gorontalo, serta implementasi bauran pemasaran didalamnya. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan, terungkap bahwa kedua universitas secara efektif menggunakan situs web institusi sebagai media promosi yang strategis dengan target tertentu. Namun demikian, kedua universitas mengadopsi strategi yang berbeda dalam mempromosikan dirinya. Wawasan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang bagaimana universitas secara strategis mengkomunikasikan penawaran, nilai, dan kekuatan kepada calon mahasiswa dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya. Selain itu, rekomendasi yang dihasilkan dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi strategi pemasaran perguruan tinggi, memungkinkan tercapainya target pasar yang lebih luas dan mencapai tujuan promosi universitas di era digital. Abstract

Service industries, such as tax consultants and wedding planners, frequently utilize part-time workers to minimize operational costs. However, employing part-time staff can present certain drawbacks, such as the risk of knowledge loss due to high turnover rates. This research aims to explore the disparities in knowledge management practices between two service-oriented companies that employ different strategies for managing part-time employees. The study involved 22 tax consultant employees and 30 wedding planner employees, who participated by completing a questionnaire. Regression analysis was employed to test the relationships among the variables under investigation. The findings of the study reveal that knowledge management significantly influences employee innovative work behavior. Furthermore, variations in knowledge management practices were observed between the two businesses, primarily attributed to their distinct characteristics. This study highlights the importance of recognizing the divergent nature of sectors within the same industry and tailoring policies accordingly to suit their specific needs.

Abstract

This study aims at determining the effect of work discipline, work culture, and behavior partially on the performance of village officials in Kalumpang District, South Hulu Sungai Regency, and to determine the dominant variables. The method was multiple regression analysis to determine the variables that affect performance. The research was conducted on 35 village officials in the Kalumpang district, South Hulu Sungai Regency, and was carried out for 3 months. The results show that There is a partially significant effect between individual behavior on performance but there is no partial significant effect between work discipline and work culture on the performance of village officials, while the most dominant influencing variable is individual behavior.       Keywords: discipline, work culture, individual behavior and performance of village officials

Abstract

This study discusses the feminist critique of female labor in the era of neoliberalism in the city of Surabaya. The urgency of this research provides feminism critique as an anti-thesis form of exploitation of female labor in the city of Surabaya. The formulation of this research problem includes: 1) To what extent is the level of exploitation of neoliberal era female workers in the city of Surabaya? 2) What is the role of the government in minimizing the exploitation of women workers? 3) What is the strategy to anticipate the exploitation of female workers? The objectives of this study are 1) Exploring the level of exploitation of female labor; 2) Analyze the government's contribution in minimizing the exploitation of women's labor; 3) Analyze strategies to prevent the exploitation of female workers. Stages of qualitative research methods through empirical studies of in-depth data collection techniques, interviews, focus group discussions, and observations. The results showed that the regulation on the number of working hours should be strictly regulated through the establishment of a special task force used to monitor and evaluate every business actor who is considered to have committed acts of labor exploitation. Abstract

Due to the fact that both online and traditional marketing are currently being discussed actively, the goal of this research problem is to identify which method is more developed and has a positive influence on consumer purchasing decisions. This marketing endeavor aims to learn how influential these two methods are in determining the number of purchasing decisions, the number of people who want to buy using conventional online marketing methods, and the quality of the products that are offered. To accomplish this, questionnaires will be distributed; in other words, quantitative methods will be used; buyers will directly fill out the questionnaires when they meet or via social media; and 100 people will be used as samples. Discovering the purchase decisions made by consumers and being supported by data acquired in the field based on the existing conditions and convenience may be determined by choosing whether or not the results attained are the same as those obtained via conventional online marketing. Because conventional and internet marketing work together to achieve their respective aims, the combination of the two kinds of marketing has grown to become an essential component of contemporary culture. Abstract

Through shifts in individual ways more and more activities require common sense. The growing public attention to health then influences customer consumption behavior. This research aims to see that purchasing decisions for isotonic Pocari sweat are influenced by brand awareness and perceived quality. The research method is Multiple Linear Regression. This research is expected to show that brand awareness and perceived quality influence purchasing decisions for isotonic Pocari Sweat. Bojonegoro University students who drank Pocari Sweat as samples. Non-probability sampling was used for research. A questionnaire containing 12 statements was distributed to 100 respondents to collect information. Multiple linear regression for research methods. This research shows that brand awareness variables and overall quality perceptions influence purchasing decisions where the F count is 9.942 > F table 3.09. The results also show that brand awareness affects buying decisions where the t-count is 2.664 > t-table 1.984. Meanwhile, the perceived quality variable does not influence purchasing choices; the t-count is 0.124, smaller than the t-table of 1.984. The coefficient of determination from the definition test (adjusted R2) shows that brand awareness and quality perception factors can understand 15.3% of the variation in purchasing decision factors. For comparison, various elements outside this research understand the excess of 84.7%.. Keywords: Brand, Isotonic, Pocari Sweat

Abstract

Excessive consumptive behavior has a negative impact on students, such as a hedonic lifestyle, an uncontrollable shopping appetite and a tendency to have no savings in the future. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of using e-wallets, lifestyle, and family economic conditions on consumptive behavior with financial literacy as a moderating variable. The research population was 115 students of the Faculty of Economics and Business UNNES Bachelor of Economics and Accounting Education class of 2019. The sample was calculated using the Slovin formula so that a total of 89 students were obtained. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling or random sampling. Research data was collected using a questionnaire with the help of google form. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and PLS Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis. The conclusion of this study is that the use of e-wallets and lifestyle have a positive and significant effect on consumptive behavior. The family's economic situation has no effect on consumptive behavior and financial literacy cannot weaken the relationship between e-wallet use, lifestyle and family economic conditions on consumptive behavior. Abstract

This study aims to identify unusual circumstances that occur in the movement of PT GoTo stock price during the opening of the stock lock-up and the issuance of the Unusual Market Activity (UMA) announcement. The findings in this study show that the Unusual Market Activity (UMA) Announcement issued after the stock lock-up opens does not affect long-time investors in holding their shares in trading which causes the trading frequency to increase drastically so that the stock price rises at that time and then again touches the lower auto reject (ARB). This study used a deskriptif analysis and stock price data processing with data collection techniques obtained through GoTo company financial data sources and stock prices on the IDX. The analytical method used is to analyze stock prices that occur when the stock lock-up opens until December 31, 2022. The analysis is carried out by looking at the movement of closing stock prices every day until an unusual circumstance is found so that the announcement of unusual market activity issued by the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
