Abstract

Apart from using silicon material, thin-layer solar cells can be made from various types of semiconductor materials, such as a combination of groups III and VI. In solar cell applications, these materials are usually used as n-type coatings. This study not only aimed to determine the crystal structure and the effect of annealing temperature on the crystal lattice parameters but also to determine the chemical composition and surface morphological structure of the crystals formed from the preparation. The crystal growth process was carried out using the Bridgman method with different heating patterns. The temperature in both annealing temperatures is 200oC and 250oC. The physical properties of the prepared In2Se3 crystals were characterized using XRD, SEM, and EDAX. XRD Characterization was used to determine the crystal structure, while SEM and EDAX characterization was used to determine the surface morphology and chemical composition of the crystals. The result of the XRD characterization showed that the formed In2Se3 crystals were polycrystals with a hexagonal structure. Based on the diffractogram obtained, the In2Se3 crystalline heating 1 has better quality. EDAX analysis showed that the In2Se3 crystals were composed of elements of In and Se with a mole ratio of 2:9, while the SEM characterization showed that the color of the surface morphology of the In2Se3 crystals was not homogeneous.

Abstract

At the end of 2021, people are shocked by the drastically reduced supply of cooking oil and high prices. This makes people talk about it a lot through social media like Twitter. Freedom on Twitter raises many responses from the public. The number of negative and positive responses on Twitter makes comparisons between the two responses difficult to observe. This study aims to determine the comparison of positive responses and negative responses. Machine learning with the naïve Bayes method and support vector machine is able to overcome this problem. The research conducted examines how the comparison between positive responses and negative responses and which method has higher accuracy. The data used is 10,000 Indonesian language tweets. Model testing was carried out with 1839 test data. the Naive Bayes method gets an accuracy of 74.06% with the results of predicting two positive tweets and 1837 negative tweets. The SVM method was tested on linear, polynomial, RBF, and sigmoid kernels. The kernel with the highest accuracy value is the sigmoid kernel with an accuracy of 81.8% with the predicted results of 266 positive tweets and 1573 negative tweets.

Abstract

Management and submission of legalization at the Harapan Bersama Polytechnic have not been computerized. The legalization process is carried out face-to-face by leaving legalized documents and returning them when the legalized documents are ready. This process is problematic because going to campus requires quite a long time, and there is no certainty or travel history from the management of legalized documents. The research objective is to build a legalization system to facilitate the process of implementing legalization in BAA units using the website-based waterfall method. This system validates alumni data in the form of NIM at registration, processes payments through payment gateways, pays for selected shipments, and tracks travel history from the submitted legalized documents. This system is called Simaleja, and there are two actors involved. As a result, the system runs according to the functions of the actors involved and has been tested. As for the results of the black box (actor) test, the system has been running according to the function of each actor, and the UI/UX usability results were obtained for 38 users, 82% of whom fall into the very good category.

Abstract

The suspension must provide comfort and safety to the vehicle. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the load's effect on the pressure distribution on the axle so that the spring strength from the sideload force can be simulated. This study aims to analyze the sideload force of type C suspension springs using FEM. Spring variations are the number of different threaded coils, namely 11, 12, and 13. In the FEM simulation, the spring is given a load until 50mm, 100mm, 150mm, 200mm, and 250mm displacement occurs. The loading spreads to the X, Y, and Z axes. Each direction of the axis is measured by the pressure that occurs. The results showed that the pressure values that occur on the X, Y, and Z axes decreased with each increase in the number of screw coils. The lowest X-axis pressure reduction occurs in thread 12 at 63%. Meanwhile, the pressure on the Y axis decreased by 27% on the spring screw 12. The highest decrease in pressure on the Z axis occurred by 34% on the spring screw 12 compared to the spring screw 11.

Abstract

Marine Science Techno Park (MSTP) Jepara is a center of technology implementation aimed to encourage community economy development in the maritime sector. At present, Marine Science Techno Park (MSTP) Jepara’s electrical energy source is supplied by Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), with coal-powered steam turbine generators as the main source of electrical energy generation. Therefore, a cleaner and more sustainable means of electrical energy generation is needed to fulfill the high energy demand. With this in mind, Universitas Diponegoro, as the proposer, in collaboration with MSTP Jepara, as the recipient, proposes the initiation of Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems (HRES) Power Plant construction as a way of obtaining an environmentally friendly and sustainable source of energy in this research as well as addressing the issues in the previous HRES simulations and implementations. This article will discuss various scenarios, their feasibility for implementation, and the economic returns gained from HRES installation on-site.

Abstract

This study discusses the comparison of the Dempster-Shafer method and Bayes' theorem in the process of early detection of inflammatory bowel disease. Inflammatory bowel disease, better known as intestinal inflammation, attacks the digestive tract in the form of irritation, chronic inflammation, and injuries to the digestive tract. Early signs of inflammatory bowel disease include excess abdominal pain, blood when passing stools, acute diarrhea, weight loss, and fatigue. The Dempster-Shafer method is a method that produces an accurate diagnosis of uncertainty caused by adding or reducing information about the symptoms of a disease. Meanwhile, Bayes' theorem explains the probability of an event based on the factors that may be related to the event. This study aims to measure the accuracy of disease detection using the Dempster-Shafer method compared to the probability of occurrence of the disease using Bayes' theorem. The results of calculating the level of accuracy show that the Bayes Theorem method is better at predicting inflammatory bowel disease with a probability of occurrence of disease in the tested data of 75.9%.

Abstract

Noni fruit is included in exported food commodities in Indonesia. The size of noni fruit, based on human vision, generally has varied shapes with distinctive textures and various patterns, so that the process of filtering fruit based on color and shape can be done in large quantities. In this study, K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) has been implemented as a classification algorithm because it has advantages in classifying images and is resistant to noise. Noni imagery is a personal image taken from a noni garden in the morning and undergoes a background subtraction process. The imagery quality improvement technique uses the Hue Saturation Value (HSV) color feature and the Gray Level Co-Occurrence Matrix (GLCM) characteristic feature. KNN accuracy without features is lower than using HSV and GLCM features. From the experimental results, the highest accuracy was obtained using HSV-GLCM at K is 1 and d is 1, namely 95%, while the lowest accuracy was 55% using KNN only at K is 5 and d is 8.

Abstract

The development of the Internet has resulted in an increasing variety of cyber crimes. Cybercrime is closely related to digital evidence, so cybercriminals tend to delete, hide, and format all collected data to eliminate traces of digital evidence. This digital evidence is very vital in proving at trial, so it is necessary to develop applications to secure digital evidence. This study aims to compare the results of cloning and hashing in securing digital evidence and evaluate the performance of a digital forensic application developed under the name Clon-Hash Application v1 compared to applications commonly used by investigators including Autopsy, FTK Imager, md5.exe in terms of its function, the result, CPU usage. The results of the research conducted show that the cloning process is perfectly successful, as evidenced by the hash value results which are the same as paid applications and there are even several other applications that have not been able to display the hash value. Hash values in the Clon-Hash v1 application also vary from MD5, SHA1, and SHA256 which do not exist in other applications. Applications developed are better in terms of function, results, and CPU usage.

Abstract

The need for electricity is increasing along with population growth. The main electricity supply (PLN) is not always continuous in its distribution, so alternative power is needed, namely generators. The ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) system can transfer the voltage source to the load. The ATS system is equipped with IOT in the form of a Blynk application on Android which functions as a controller and can send ATS damage notifications. This research was conducted to meet the electricity needs. Users can monitor, control and maintain the ATS system in the event of a breakdown. The method in this study uses a quantitative method, namely data collection by testing the ATS system and testing the IOT Blynk application function as a notification of damage to the ATS system. The result of transferring the PLN voltage to the generator is only 7 seconds and 3 seconds vice versa. There was damage to the lamp cable 1 time, the relay 1 time, and the fan cable 2 times. The results of measuring the current and voltage of the PLN source: lamp load 0.02A, 3.4V; fan 0.04A, 3.5V; AC motor 0.04A, 4V. Generator current and voltage measurements are as follows: lamp load 0.02 A, 9.1V; 0.03A, 9V fan; AC motor 0.05A, 4.5V.

Abstract

A refrigeration machine is needed on a fishing boat because the purpose of catching is to catch as many fish as possible and maintain the quality of the catch. In general, fishing vessels use mechanical refrigeration machines in an effort to maintain the quality of the catch up to the hands of consumers. The results of checking products that enter the hold showed the average initial temperature of the fish entering the hold was 11,7 oC. The final temperature of fish products after going through the freezing process is 2,075 oC. The total product load calculation is 101,1 KW and the average product heat load on the hold is 9,1 KJ/s. By knowing the suction pressure, exhaust, and working temperature of the compressor through a worksheet that is journalized every day, as well as the temperature in the pipe after the condenser, and the expansion valve using the Mollier R-22 diagram and the Saturation Properties-Temperature R-22 table, it is known that the average compressor power average of 1,9 KW and actual COP averaging is 4,6 KJ/Kg. The total compressor power result calculation is 20,96 KW with an average usage of 1,9 KW. The total result of the COP actual calculation is 51,4 with an average of 4,6.
