KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah was first published in April 2013 in printed and online form published since 30 April 2018 by Department of Non Formal Education, Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Padang. KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah equipped with ISSN (p): 2354-693X and ISSN (e): 2655-3163, published twice a year in April and October. KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah education contains articles from research and/ or analytical-critical in the field non-formal education specifically edult education study, community education, training and development of human resources, counseling, and community development. The spesification purpose are intended to explore, develop and explain the knowladge of history, philosophy, principles, policies, designs, and technologies that are used and developed in non-formal education services. KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah have a role and participates in efforts to support the preservation of scientific traditions derived from the theoretical study of researchers and the practical experience of education practitioners.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low performance of Paket C tutor in PKBM Karang Taruna Kembang Delima. This is allegedly due to the low satisfaction of the tutor's work. The purpose of this research is to make the job satisfaction of tutor, to describe the performance of the package tutor, and to see the relationship of job satisfaction with the performance of the Paket C tutor in PKBM Karang Taruna Kembang Delima. This research is correlational research, with population is tutor of Paket C which amounted to 33 people, sample taken 90% from population that is 30 people with sampling technique that is simple random sampling. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, and data collection tools using questionnaires. Data analysis techniques to describe job satisfaction and performance tutor using the formula percentage, and to see the relationship of job satisfaction with the performance tutor technique data analysis using product moment correlation formula. The results of this study indicate that (1) the satisfaction of Paket C tutor in PKBM Karang Taruna Kembang Delima is low category, (2) the performance of tutor of Paket C package in PKBM Karang Taruna Kembang Delima category low, and (3) there is a significant relationship between job satisfaction with the performance of Paket C tutor in PKBM Karang Taruna Kembang Delima. It is suggested to the manager to improve the work satisfaction of tutors in terms of feelings of pleasure in work and a good working environment for the performance of tutors can increase.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya kemampuan mahasiswa fakultas sains pendidikan untuk menghasilkan karya ilmiah inovatif. Dapat dilihat melalui pelatihan PKM. Hal ini diduga terkait dengan implementasi pelatihan yang dilaksanakan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran umum siswa pelaksanaan pelatihan PKM yang diselenggarakan oleh BEM FIP. Penelitian ini diklasifikasikan sebagai populasi penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif: semua siswa yang menghadiri pelatihan PKM periode 2015, dan sampel sebanyak 40 orang. Teknik pemilihan sampel yang digunakan: Claster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan alat kuesioner dan teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi siswa dalam pelatihan PKM merespon cukup baik terhadap pelaksanaan pelatihan PKM yang dilakukan BEM FIP, hal ini terkait dengan keseluruhan pelatihan peserta methods memikirkan lebih banyak teori peneliti dan waktu untuk PKM jika tidak kurang.Kata Kunci: Tanggapan Mahasiswa, Pelatihan

Abstract

Good learning is learning that is equipped with appropriate learning media to achieve learning goals. Conformity includes suitability of the needs of students, local environmental conditions, and the ability of teachers. A good learning media is media that can facilitate the achievement of learning objectives. Learning to write speech texts for junior high school class IX students requires learning media as a means of supporting the ease of achieving learning goals. Along with the development of science and technology, students' needs for learning media are also growing. Students prefer and are more interested in IT-based learning media (science and technology) in the form of audio-visual media. Students prefer to see/observe objects to stimulate ideas in writing speech texts.

Abstract

The function of National Education system has to build and develope the human character and personality in civilization of Indonesian based on the potentiality of the nature of Indonesian people. Indonesian people must behave in the good personality as a nation amongthe people in the world. Each citizent of The Republic of Indonesia must behave in a good personality: they have must be religious, deligent, clever, dicipline, brave, have a point of view, broad minded, dicipline, can develop mind set, good attitude, have adversity, plesant, human dignity, appreciate, honestly, human dignity and other vitues. One of the aspects influence of shaping human character is the values system of our commuty. In west Sumatera (Ethnicof Minangkabau} has specially values which is different of ohther community dealing with shapping character or personalty. Education system must be responsibility to educate people in shapping agood charater as a fundamental of educational system. In this occasion I would like to discussion in dealing with the basic aspect of implementing of educational character in our system must bebased on the value systemof the coomunity or society.Key word: Local Wisdom, Knowing Value System, Custom of Minangkabau, Fundamental Basic of Education, Character.

Abstract

The essence of national development is to build on a solid foundation and strong foundation in the form of certain conditions in various national life. Community development there are two challenges that need to be considered to build the organization (organization development) and economic development (economic development). In the development of organizations, the organization is the frame work of every form of cooperation to achieve a common goal, therefore it needs to be built on the basis of a democratic, dynamic and harmonious relationship. Likewise with the elderly community groups, based on Boyle's taxonomic thinking about the type of non-formal education is divided into three types: developmental, institutional, and informational. Developmental programs are also called community development programs, where the main program objectives are solving social, economic, cultural, political, and defense and security problems facing the target group through action programs. An instituional program is also called a training program aimed at mastering a set of capabilities (knowledge, attitudes and / or skills) by the target group. While the informational program can be called also with counseling or publicity, aims to achieve a set of information by the target group. Thus the community development program is one of the types of non-formal education programs.

Abstract

The various impacts that have been taken in the era of globalization and increasingly widespread transformation will have positive and negative impacts. Various potentials faced, both natural resources and human resources must be a priority to be developed, especially by the Study Program of Non Formal Education as one of the educational institutions that must be a solution for an increasingly developing age. One way that can be taken to develop human resources, especially the PLS study program is through student self-development towards the cultivation of entrepreneurial spirit in aspects of life. It is very important to do outside school education that is closely related to education for the community to continue to be a pioneer in the development people's economy which has an entrepreneurial spirit, devotion and conduct economic business through koperasi and small and medium enterprises so that intact human resources can be built independent, productive and able to become the hope of the nation that responds to the flow of globalization with various challenges. The challenge of globalization towards self-reliance and productive endeavors for students of study programs outside of school is a shared hope towards people's economy and the transparent world of work and accountability.

Abstract

This community service was because many homemakers had much free time, but they did not yet have productive activities that could help adding the family income. Therefore, they were put in a program and trained to sew bajukurung. The aim was to have the women skillfully so that they were motivated to work hard and eager to open their own sewing business. The participants of the program were 17 homemakers living at Parupuk Raya Air Tawar Barat. The methods used in the program were: a) counseling; it was to prepare the participants to have a motivation, passion and characters, b) experiment; used to train the participants to be skillful in sewing bajukurung, begin with the measurement, cutting, and then sewing. The outcomes of the programs were having the participants informed and trained, the instructors helped them and showed them ways to sew. The training had been conducted. The participants could do measurement; they could draft the patterns, cut the cloth and sew it to be bajukurung.Keywords: Science and Technologi, Homemakers, Society Learning Center

Abstract

Level moral development in early childhood in Kenagarian Lunang Barat, Kecamatan Lunang, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan is still low category. This is allegedly due to the low attention give by parents. This study aims to reveal a picture of the attention given by parents to children, a picture of the level of early childhood moral development and the relationship between the two variables. This research is correlational research, with population and sampled are parent. Sampling with area random sampling technique. Tools for data collection used in the form of questionnaires and data analysis technique using the formula percentage and product moment formula. The results of the study include: (1) Attention given by the parents is still low category. (2) The level of early childhood moral development is still low category. (3) There is a significant relationship between the attention given to parents and the level of early childhood moral development. The suggestions in this study are that parents need to improve understanding, knowledge, and increase attention to children, so that children can show the good level of moral development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat berwirausaha lulusan pendidikan kecakapan kerja keterampilan tata busana. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menggambarkan: (1) konsep diri lulusan pendidikan kecakapan kerja keterampilan tata busana, (2) minat berwirausaha lulusan pendidikan kecakapan kerja keterampilan tata busana, dan (3) hubungan antara konsep diri dengan minat berwirausaha lulusan pendidikan kecakapan kerja keterampilan tata busana. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 20 orang, sampel ditarik dari populasi sebanyak 80%. Jadi sampel berjumlah 16 orang lulusan pendidikan kecakapan kerja keterampilan tata busana. Dengan teknik penarikan sampel area random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah angket dan alat pengumpul data adalah daftar pernyataan tertulis. Teknik analisis data menggunakan perhitungan persentase dan rumus rank order. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa (1) konsep diri lulusan pendidikan kecakapan kerja pada keterampilan tata busana rendah, (2) minat berwirausaha lulusan pendidikan kecakapan kerja pada keterampilan tata busana rendah, dan (3) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara konsep diri dengan minat berwirausaha lulusan pendidikan kecakapan kerja pada keterampilan tata busana.Kata Kunci: Konsep Diri, Minat Berwirausaha, Pendidikan Kecakaapan Kerja

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of ability of the Faculty of Education students to produce innovative scientific work. This is allegedly related to the implementation of the training carried out. The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the implementation of PKM training held by BEM FIP. This study was classified as quantitative descriptive, the study population was all students who took part in the 2015 PKM training, and a sample of 40 people. The sample selection technique uses cluster random sampling. The data in this study are student responses to the implementation of PKM training, and data sources are students who take PKM training. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire and the analysis technique used is the percentage. The results showed that students who took PKM training responded quite well to the implementation of PKM training conducted by BEM FIP, but for material and time needed improvement because the training material was more theoretical and minimal practical, and the need to provide time for training under the guidance of outside instructors training schedule.
