KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah equipped with ISSN (p): 2354-693X and ISSN (e): 2655-3163, published twice a year in April and October. KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah education contains articles from research and/ or analytical-critical in the field non-formal education specifically edult education study, community education, training and development of human resources, counseling, and community development. The spesification purpose are intended to explore, develop and explain the knowladge of history, philosophy, principles, policies, designs, and technologies that are used and developed in non-formal education services. KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah have a role and participates in efforts to support the preservation of scientific traditions derived from the theoretical study of researchers and the practical experience of education practitioners.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pelaksanaan pelatihan tata rias, menilai tingkat kemandirian berwirausaha peserta setelah mengikuti pelatihan, serta menganalisis sejauh mana pelatihan tata rias mempengaruhi kemandirian berwirausaha peserta pelatihan di Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Kediri. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Kediri dengan total populasi sebanyak 110 peserta pelatihan tata rias. Untuk pengambilan sampel, digunakan teknik proportional sampling, yang menghasilkan 86 responden sebagai sampel. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif kausal dengan analisis regresi linear sederhana untuk mengolah data yang diperoleh melalui angket yang diisi oleh responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pelatihan tata rias terdapat pengaruh kemandirian berwirausaha. Adapun peningkatan kemandirian berwirausaha melalui pelatihan tata rias sebesar 49%. Adapun hasil analisis data variabel aspek pelatihan tata rias berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kemandirian berwirausaha.

Abstract

Pesantren play a strategic role in shaping students' character through family-based education. The Sumber Pendidikan Mental Agama Allah (SPMAA) Foundation, founded by MA Muchtar, serves as an example of how educational values are internalized within the pesantren environment. This study aims to describe MA Muchtar's behavior in instilling the pesantren's vision, analyze the family educational values he passed down, and evaluate their impact on his children and students. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that MA Muchtar demonstrated three key behaviors in educating: simplicity, discipline, and role modeling. The primary family educational values transmitted include monotheism, humanity, simplicity, lifelong education, communication and honesty, as well as harmony and unity. These values are internalized through direct role modeling, habituation, and daily activities within the family and pesantren environment. This study emphasizes the significance of individual agency in shaping and transmitting educational values within the pesantren’s social structure.

Abstract

Professionalism is the standard of specific abilities and skills required to describe a person's qualifications in carrying out their profession. The professional competence of counselors in Non-Formal Education in providing guidance and counseling services in non-formal training institutions and study groups. The method used in this research is qualitative. The data collection method used is through a questionnaire instrument on REBT counseling proficiency for school counselors obtained via Google Form to measure the competencies possessed by Non-Formal Education State counselors related to knowledge, skills in conducting REBT counseling, and skills in creating REBT modules. The research results show that the mastery of REBT counseling by non-formal education counselors falls into the high category due to the training provided. However, it is hoped that there will be follow-up actions from this training or workshop because not 100% of non-formal education counselors possess adequate skills in conducting REBT counseling. Keywords: Profesionalism, competence of school counsellors, REBT counseling

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Supervisory Leadership Training program in enhancing the leadership skills of supervisors at J&T Express East Java. Utilizing a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design, data were collected through questionnaires administered before and after the training. The analysis results indicate an improvement in leadership skills following the training, with the average score increasing from 163.5445 in the pre-test to 167.0034 in the post-test, reflecting an increase of 3.4589 points. This 2.11% increase serves as strong evidence of the training’s effectiveness in enhancing supervisors' leadership skills. The statistical test using the Paired Sample t-Test confirmed that this improvement is statistically significant (p < 0.05). The most notable improvements were observed in task delegation and communication aspects. The validity and reliability of the research instrument were also confirmed through factor analysis and Cronbach’s Alpha test. In conclusion, the Supervisory Leadership Training program has been proven effective in improving supervisors' leadership skills. This finding suggests that the Supervisory Leadership Training program can serve as a solid foundation for developing similar training programs in the future to enhance supervisory leadership competencies across various industrial sectors.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of servant leadership on organizational commitment, job loyalty, job satisfaction on organizational commitment, job satisfaction, job satisfaction on job loyalty, and organizational commitment to job loyalty. In addition, this study also examines the influence of servant leadership and job satisfaction on organizational commitment through job loyalty. The method used is a descriptive study with hypothesis testing using a causal design, analyzed through a Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that there was no significant influence between servant leadership and organizational commitment. However, there is a significant positive influence between servant leadership and work loyalty, where the higher the value of servant leadership, the higher the work loyalty, and vice versa. In addition, there is a significant positive influence between job satisfaction and organizational commitment, where the higher the job satisfaction score, the higher the organizational commitment, and vice versa. Significant positive influences were also found between job satisfaction and job loyalty, as well as between job loyalty and organizational commitment. Job satisfaction and servant leadership have a significant positive influence on organizational commitment through job loyalty, where job loyalty can be an intervening variable between job satisfaction and organizational commitment, as well as between servant leadership and organizational commitment.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peran orangtua dalam penurunan angka stunting serta kontribusi program Sekolah Orang Tua Hebat (SOTH) di Kecamatan Klojen. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada dua elemen yang menjadi peran orang tua dalam penurunan angka stunting. Pertama adalah peran dalam pemenuhan gizi bagi anak, pemenuhan gizi ini meliputi menjaga kesehatan selama masa kehamilan, memberikan ASI secara eksklusif, memberikan MP-ASI sesuai usia dan kadar nutrisi serta mengatur pola makan pada anak. Kedua, peran dalam pemenuhan layanan kesehatan, yang dapat dilakukan dengan membawa anak ke posyandu untuk melakukan pengecekkan tumbuh kembang anak, membawa anak berobat jika mengalami masalah kesehatan serta menyediakan lingkungan yang bersih dan sehat. Terdapat dua faktor inti yang menjadi kontribusi program Sekolah Orang Tua Hebat (SOTH). Pertama, pertambahan pengetahuan orang tua, yang ditandai dengan perkembangan pengetahuan dari segi pola asuh orang tua, pemberian ASI pada anak serta penyediaan makanan yang bergizi. Kedua, perubahan sikap dan perilaku orang tua. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari perubahan sikap dan perilaku orang tua dalam pemberian pola makan dan pengaturan gizi pada anak, perubahan sikap dan perilaku dalam kesadaran orang tua untuk pemberian ASI secara eksklusif, dan perubahan sikap dan perilaku pola hidup sehat dan bersih.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe research aims to explore the relationship between involvement in organizations, hobbies, self-discipline, and academic success of students at the Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM) Universitas Putra Indonesia (YPTK) Padang, especially students who are in the Sixth Semester. It applies a correlational quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design to identify the relationship between these variables. The research sample consisted of 150–200 students selected randomly using simple random sampling techniques. Data was collected through an online questionnaire, which included questions regarding organizational involvement, hobbies, self-discipline, and academic achievement. The research results show that involvement in organizations, hobbies, and self-discipline have a significant relationship with students' academic success. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that these three factors together can explain 46% of the variation in student academic success. Involvement in organizations contributes to improving social and managerial skills, hobbies play a role in maintaining psychological well-being and managing stress, and self-discipline helps students to stay focused and avoid procrastination. This research provides important insight that to achieve academic success, students need to develop involvement in organizations, positive hobbies, and self-discipline in a balanced way. Suggestions are given for educational institutions to provide facilities and programs that holistically support this third factor's development.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital era, social media use has become an integral part of daily life, including for young Gen Z couples. As a generation that grew up with technology, they tend to use social media platforms not only to socialize but also to seek information, including regarding parenting practices within the family. Families, as non-formal educational institutions, provide education through childcare, fostering family empowerment. Social media, with its diverse content, is often the primary source for young couples seeking parenting guidance. This study aims to analyze the use of social media as a parenting guide for young Gen Z couples, focusing on the types of content they consume, its impact on parenting practices, and an evaluation of the quality of the information obtained. This study aims to identify the relationship between the types of social media platforms used and their influence on parenting decisions made by young couples. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive approach related to social media content. The sample was young Gen Z couples who use social media as a parenting guide in Pariaman City.

Abstract

LKP’s managerial ability is one of the keys to being able to run an institution in achieving its goals in improving the quality of training participants, so that training participants are able to complete for job opportunities with DUDI partners. LKP's good managerial ability, which is also supported by the results of quality training participants, increases the job opportunities of trainees at DUDI partners. The research objectives (1) to determine the managerial ability of LKP in Malang City, (2) to determine the job opportunities of training participants in business partners and the industrial world through the Job Skills Education Program (PKK), (3) to determine the effect of LKP managerial abilities on opportunities the work of training participants for business partners and the industrial world through the Employment Skills Education Program (PKK). LKP managerial ability has a significant effect on the job opportunities of trainees at DUDI partners. Thus, simultaneously, the LKP managerial ability variable has a positive and significant effect on the job opportunities of the trainees.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an educational website based on Canva as an innovation in digital learning media that supports teachers, particularly Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in both formal and non-formal educational units, in presenting teaching materials more practically, integratively, and easily accessible. The background of this research stems from the challenges of 21st-century education, which demand interactive, efficient learning processes that align with the Sustainable Development Goals agenda (SDG 4: Quality Education). The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Waterfall model, which includes the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The developed product contains various learning media, teaching modules, and a list of relevant Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications to support learning. The results of the Black Box Testing method show that all website features function as designed, are responsive, and can be accessed on various devices. This Canva-based educational website is considered suitable for use as a digital learning medium because it can improve teacher efficiency, enrich students' learning experiences, and contribute to the realization of inclusive, innovative, and sustainable education.
